My regular eye doc is down the Cape and I live in Worcester. I've been to these guys twice for repairs, the second time my specs were pretty banged up. I've bought 4 pairs of glasses here in the past 5 years. I can't say enough good things about them. First, the employees are nice, patient, and willing to go the extra mile to help you. A few years ago they went out of their way to order a replacement arm from France for my glasses, even though they were past their official warranty period. This week i broke my current glasses, far beyond repair. While i spent 3 hours agonizing over which new pair i wanted, they were more than willing to un-tint my prescription sunglasses so i would have something to wear this week while i wait for my new pair! Second, they have an awesome selection of frames. They specialize in brands that you can only get 2 or 3 places in Massachusetts. Any style or fashion you can think of, they have the frames. Some of them can be pricey, but they also carry an extensive selection of fashionable frames less than $100. Finally, they give good discounts for various insurance carriers and they don't overcharge or upsell on things like UV coatings. My most recent pair ended up being high quality and really cool, but costing me the same as i would've paid at a chain place like Lenscrafters or Pearlevision. I absolutely love going here. I've only been twice but Dr. Arinella is always quick but thorough. He's very good at explaining things if you have any questions or concerns. I'm absolutely horrible at telling which is clearer when testing out lenses and he's very good at being able to read my reactions to tell which is better for me, even if I cannot, which is a sign of a good doctor. As far as the Optical Shop is concerned, their frames are great. I have a slight Kate Spade addiction and they always have an array of choices as far as she's concerned. Whether you're looking for designer or simple frames, they have something to fit everyone's needs. The only problem I've ever had was deciding which pair was my favorite. Thankfully, the optical shop team is very good at spotting the small details you might not notice that make a huge difference in how the frames suit you. Thanks to their expertise, whether it's my eyeglasses or prescription sunglasses, without fail, someone almost always compliments me on them every time I am wearing them. read more

The absolute best and only place I will ever buy glasses from. Everyone there appears to be an optician so they can answer any question you may have. There is no bureaucratic nonsense and no annoying customer service people. They also have the best selection anywhere including Silhouette frames which I love. It seems like a major conflict of interest as the physicians office strongly recommends Premier Optical and they are outrageously overpriced. Check them out for yourself and compare pricing. I've been a customer of Premiere Optical for many years. Their service is fast, courteous and accommodating. Last year my prescription Oakley sunglasses developed a haze on one lens and they were past warrantee date. Premiere Optical advocated on my behalf with Oakley to get the expensive lens replaced. That was a big deal to me. Their opticians are knowledgeable and professional and always pleasant to work with. Highly recommend! read more

I wish there were no star for rating. Reason: terribly long wait. On one occasion it was 2 hrs and another, over 3 hrs. One way to strike back is refuse to pay the bill citing patient abuse. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

I recently decided to get my eye exam done here at Premier due to all the great reviews. This place is very clean and has plenty of parking. The staff is super friendly. Dr. Quang was knowledgable, professional, thorough, and is very good at determining what lenses were best for me. He addressed all my questions and concerns. I must say I had a great experience from beginning to end and will definitely be refering my friends and family to Premier. And though I didn' t purchase any glasses from there shop, they had a wide selection of reasonably priced name brands. read more

I was a satisfied customer at Premier for 9 years. Last lenses I got there had P.D. wrong by 6 mm. Another optician confirmed. I told them but they wouldn't fix it. They refunded my money. I got new glasses with the same Rx from an internet provider for half the price, they're perfect. read more

Regarding my complaint of Aug. 13th, the manager of Premier Optical contacted me today to offer an apology for the terrible service I had received. I was pleased that he took the time because Premier has always been a great place to visit and obtain great eyeware. I feel satisfied with the results.
