The optometrist was very friendly and asked me questions to make sure I was picking the right pair for me that was relevant to my safety needs. As well as making sure they looked good on my face. Very knowledgeable and professional.

I liked both doctors and was happy with their care. My satisfaction with the office staff has been steadily declining over the past 2 years, however. I've called multiple times over multiple days. No response. They've lost themselves a good patient.

Shortly after I was taken in by Dr. Feucht who was very knowledgable, kind and personable. At the end of it all he spent his time explaining to me what happened and gave me some meds which helped me feel better in no time. Very happy camper! Will be back again!

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience. I paid 445 dollars for my glasses. I always keep my…read moreglasses in my car, usually in the glove box, and I've never had this problem with any other pair. Less than a month after getting these, strange lines appeared on both lenses, almost like the glass was cracking. They replaced the lenses once, and I was told to pay thirty-five dollars, which I did. But just couple of days later, The exact same thing happened again to the new glasses they replaced, but only on one lens. Then I was told they couldn't replace them because I had already used my replacement. The staff also said I didn't have scratch protection which I asked for my receipt and definitely they charged me for it and claimed they had warned me not to leave my glasses in a hot car when I picked them up. That never happened. When I picked up my replacement glasses, they just adjusted them and handed them to me. Nobody discussed heat or gave care instructions. If someone had told me heat could permanently damage the lenses, I would have avoided it. Instead, I spent445 dollars on glasses that I wasn't even able to use, and no one was willing to help. What a Waste of money and time. The optician who assisted me was very rude, unhelpful, and dishonest. Unfortunately, I don't know her name, but she was a tall woman with blonde hair who I spoke with during my last visit when I went to have my lenses replaced. She told me that she had warned me about leaving the glasses in a hot car, but that never happened. I find it extremely disappointing to be told something that simply isn't true straight to my face and not admit that the product is bad or simply replace the lenses or do something that both parties can be satisfied like offering to replace with small charge or any normal business will do other than blaming and lying to me. This is very poor customer service. Currently, I don't think they actually care enough to do something about it and make things right.

What sets Magay and Barron apart from other eyeglass stores is their attention. Mr. Magay is truly passionate about making sure his customers are completely satisfied. I went in not knowing what I was looking for after learning I had some extra flex spending money that needed using, and left with a beautiful pair of glasses, custom fit just for me! I've been going to this practice for 20 years and never had any problems. The last 2 years here have been horrible. I had a routine eye exam last summer and after getting new glasses found out they gave me the wrong prescription. I found that out after I picked up my 2 new pairs of glasses and couldn't see out of them after spending a fortunate on them. I went back to the office a few days later and asked to speak to the office manager. They told me she was in a meeting and would be out to speak with me in a few minutes. After 45 minutes of waiting, I inquired about speaking with her and they told me so was too busy to talk to me and gave me a phone number to call another time. I tried to call her for 3 days and of course she was not available to speak with. They took my name and number and assured me she would call me back. No one ever called me back after leaving numerous messages. After my 4th message I finally spoke to someone, and they assured me someone would call me back. The office manager did eventually call back and was adamant that I did not receive the wrong prescription. She proceeded to tell me the prescription was correct explaining mathematical equations with this number plus this number equaled the numbers on the prescription. I asked her if she was an optician, which she said she wasn't but was the office manager. I told her that I couldn't see out of my new glasses, and she said that she knew how to figure out eye prescriptions because she had been working there for many years and the prescription was right. After going and back in forth with messages etc. for several weeks and then getting nowhere with her, I ended the conversation. I called the next day for an appointment to see Dr. Wiseman. I told them I only wanted to see him because I was having a problem seeing. I had to wait for an appointment to see him, but Dr. Weisman confirmed that despite having the correct name and date of birth on my prescription, I was given the wrong prescription! He gave me the correct prescription. Unfortunately, because I had to wait weeks for someone to correct this gross error, I was stuck with 2 pairs of useless expensive glasses! I did tell Dr Weisman about what the office manager said about insisting that I had the correct prescription and he said she is not a medical professional and should have never said that. To make matters worse they billed my insurance company for 2 office visits ($375) and billed me for those 2 balances. I called and spoke with the billing person and explained to her that I had to come back because I was given the wrong prescription and shouldn't be charged for their error. She was just as condescending and unhelpful as the office manage and said I was seen twice so I had to pay. I explained I wouldn't have had to come back if they didn't make a gross medical error and had given me the correct prescription in the first place. *Please note that this bad review is not about Dr. Weisman because he is a wonderful professional ophthalmologist that cares about his patients. He deserves 5 stars but the way the office staff treat people and breach confidentiality and HIPAA at the check-in window don't even deserve a 0 star. I will never go back to that office.
