Months of doctors visits, no answers and frustration finally I was with a Dr. that knew exactly what I was feeling and I was able to get some answers. Staff is very Kind. He's even kinder. This was my first time undergoing both a colonoscopy and an endoscopy, and I came in with understandable anxiety and many questions. Instead of receiving reassurance or compassion, I was spoken to harshly and felt dismissed and humiliated. I had clearly requested to be fully under anesthesia during the procedure, but this was not honored. I was only informed about sedation at the very last minute as I was being taken into the procedure room. While I was still talking with the doctor, a nurse suddenly administered sedation without my consent. I remember waking up in severe pain, feeling panicked and helpless as several nurses physically held me down -- I ended up with scratches on my hands from struggling. No patient should ever be put through that kind of experience. The colonoscopy was never completed because the pain was unbearable. I was sent home without being seen again by Dr. Boghossian. To his credit, he did call later to apologize and admitted that the situation was handled unethically, saying he would request anesthesia if the procedure were to be repeated. But I will never go back to him again. Adding to all this, my prep experience was terrible. Despite explaining in advance that I have a gag reflex and vomiting issues, no one took the time to explain that there were different prep options or flavors that could have made the process more tolerable. I left this experience feeling emotionally and physically violated. No patient deserves to be treated this way. Please be cautious and make sure your concerns and consent are fully respected before any procedure.

I'm keeping my original review for continuity. This update is to show, using my own documentation,…read morehow biased and prejudicial language in medical notes can permanently distort a patient's credibility and access to care. I count myself lucky I met my new GI doctor, although treatment is complicated now because of my worsening injuries. Over the past four years I've had time to study what happened, review my records, and talk with professionals who helped me understand how the bias in my care took shape. The pain I was in left me cognitively impaired for a long time, which made it hard to see how dismissive the treatment really was while it was happening. Because of the wording used in my chart -- phrases like "patient is convinced" and "very likely psychosomatic" -- it's very likely the kind of language that led other doctors to dismiss my concerns and assume the problem was psychological. My injuries worsened, the connective tissue in my abdomen continued to tear, and I lost muscle support through my torso. A genetic condition was also upregulated and my skin permanently traumatized. That language still follows me through my medical record and continues to influence how I'm treated. Nearly four years later, I'm still trying to recover from my injury and the physical and psychological damage caused by dismissive, biased documentation and the prejudice that began in this office. I'm including Dr. Nowain's original notes, and other records that corroborate both the intense pain I was really in, the celiac artery compression and soft tissue damage, and the continual gaslighting using prejudicial language to dismiss my accounts and leave me in pain and suffering. These are all before the injury worsened. I can still hear Dr. Nowain's voice from that day in his office -- angry, certain: "You're having a panic attack!" When I said I wasn't, he replied, "That sounds just like something someone having a panic attack would say." It still plays in my head like I heard it yesterday. So, I guess there's only one thing left to say. Best of luck in all your health journeys, and remember: "One foot in front of the other, bravely forward. Always."

He said it is not a good idea but if we want to do it he was happy to help us. He said that because I told him my dad had a colonoscopy like 4 months ago and it didn't show anything bad plus my dad doesn't have any stomach pain. We decided not to do it but if my dad have any pain will come back. I really like the Dr Tim, he was nice, and took his time to explained everything I asked him, so I recommend him. Everything was smooth, easy to make appointment, everyone in the office was nice and respectful with us and we didn't have to wait too much. So thank you everyone A++

I just park at Walgreens and walk over. Or, you can park in the massive parking lot with the supermarket across the street and walk over. You have plenty of options. Don't worry. The medical office itself is extremely clean, neat, tidy, and organized. Staff: The receptionists here are very quick, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Dr. Tim Chen himself is fricken funny, knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

I'm having a really hard time processing some of these reviews. Dr. Soltani is a nice man but does not have a "warm fuzzy" bedside manner. This is not necessarily a bad thing, just don't expect that. He is well trained and has impressive credentials. Here is the reason for this 1-star review. If I could give minus stars, I would do that. The staff is unreliable, unresponsive and unprofessional. His scheduler is located outside the United States, which is not a bad thing in itself, but good luck understanding her. We've had a surgical procedure rescheduled, and canceled more than once . Medication was withheld, GI prep was completed, preop appointments that had to be rescheduled/redone...all because the scheduler canceled but neglected to notify the actual patient. This is clearly a negligible practice and I fully intend to see what options are available to us. I try very hard not to leave negative reviews but feel this is a public service issue. I'm disheartened, and feel very upset that the office staff are so uncooperative and unconcerned.

My appointment was pushed back by 2 hrs because doctor was running late... not happy about it because I'm hungry and parched. Appt was at 2pm (asked to get there an hour early) so I got there at 1:30. While otw, I got a call saying it'll be pushed back an hour...later 2 hrs. In the end, my appt didnt happen until 4pm. Anyway, other than that...my prep tucked butt...but luckily that was the only thing I was worried about. Once I got into the room, the nurse directed me into the changing room. Once changed, I went to the bed and waited for another staff to check in with me to confirm my name, DOB, and health concerns. Afterwards, I got the IV inserted to my arm/hand. Waited until the doctor arrives to greet me. Finally, after a long while, the anesthesiologist arrived to let me know that I'm in good hands. Right after greeting the anesthesiologist, I went into the room for my procedure...next thing I know...I wad done! Doctor shared his findings and got my souvenir photos of the finding(s). Procedure was literally 30 minutes! Then the recovery was about 15ish (for me).

Between my wife and I, we have come here for procedures over the years on referrals from our primary doctors. Today, my wife needed two procedures again by a specialist who uses this facility. Sure, she had to do the unpleasant preparation which is crucial to a good result of the procedures but it is really not that bad considering the alternative of not knowing your true medical condition. Again as in the past, today was no different. The reception staff were cordial and helpful, the nurses were kind and attentive and their efficiency in processing so many patients was great. Given what everyone in the waiting room was there for; it was a calm atmosphere. We are fortunate to have a facility like this nearby and, if the need arises, I won't hesitate to come here for my health care and wellbeing.
