So I went in for an eye exam and as always I get contacts . This time I said I was gonna get both. After the exam I was just ended up buying glasses and holding off contacts for later . I decided to buy online contacts since its much much cheaper .so when they called to verify my prescription they denied my request !! They said I needed to have a "contact exam" . Are you serious ? Just because I didn't purchase any contacts from them they are trying to charge me 55$ . And let me edit my review I requested I wanted BOTH not just one . read more

Dr. Kim is the best! I first met her way back in the 90's when her daughter was in my Montessori class :-) She took care of my little sister's prescription and my mom's prescription. I have referred several friends to her over the years and they were super happy with the service they were provided. Dr. Kim speaks fluent Spanish too as well as Korean. I have visited her many times over the years with questions about the eyes, eye injuries, infections etc and for cool sunglasses too. This is a great place to come for yearly eye exams which is a must. One of these years I am sure I will need glasses, hopefully later than sooner. Really great place! Dr. Kim and her staff were extremely friendly and professional. She answered all my questions and I was out before I knew it. They even fixed my old pair of glasses I had on. It was missing a nose pad, so they popped on 2 new ones and adjusted them correctly. My friend recommended me to go here since they have changed owners so I've decided to try them out since I didn't have a optometry to go to that was friendly in my area and got my eye exam done by the very nice doctor- she was very friendly and thorough. They had a friendly staff and good selection of glasses and sunglasses and surprisingly they had a selection of circle lenses too with variety of colors too!!! yay!! I used to get circle lenses from Korea through a website but with the shipping charge and not being able to try them on to see if it fits me or not, I was looking for a place that has circle lenses but because they had them here with good prices, I had decided to get some pairs here...which I get compliments on whenever I wear them. I got a pair of sunglasses too which the staff adjusted for me to fit my face perfectly. I would def. come back again and will refer to my family and friends. read more

I went here for a 2 year overdue eye exam and new glasses. The exam was super fast and easy and Dr. Kim is very easy to talk to. I wasn't seeing a huge variety in my budget for the frames/ lenses so I wanted to take my prescription and shop around. When I asked for my prescription I was told I could only use it there. I was very upset and left. I went to a few other places but didn't get far without my prescription. I ended up going back and picked a frame that is similar to what I've been wearing the past few years. They're cute. I just wanted to shop around and get something different.. read more

Dr. Kim provided prescription that was wrong; therefore, for 1 year my eyes glasses was not correct and may have caused my eyes to get worse. I did complain and was told 'it requires time to get use to' and it's the cheap 'lens' and I should have upgraded to better lens. Because I got my prescription from Dr. Kim and the glasses and lens from Target, I didn't know if it was the glasses or the prescription until I got checked recently and found the error. My 2015 glasses and 2017 was near the same, while my 2016, from dr. Kim was wrong and complete opposite (right to left eye). Dr. Kim even calibrated my original glasses wrong, insisting it was a '3 degree' but when I checked with target, it was only 1 degree for my right eye. How can 2 mistakes occur in 2 sitting? My eyes may have gotten worse because of Dr. Kim's error and I'm sad as it's not worth going to court over this. I just want people to know and be careful. Nothing can be done now as it's been over a year so Dr. Kim won't even replace my lens... Yeah, I should have complained more often, but now I know doctors are not always right in their diagnosis and you should trust yourself. read more

I liked this office the first time I went to them (2013) this year however I feel like they ripped me off and even ended up paying out of my pocket after insurance. I originally wanted contact lenses and just change the lense on my old frame to my new prescription (which they did for me the first year without hesitation on an old pair of frames) the person helping me said i couldn't do it. The lenses I got where not my first choice but they state there the only ones i could get in the style and brand that fell into the guidelines of my insurance. they where ray bans she pulled from the back office, when i first got them they gave me this old cheap plastic case, for the price they charge me and the insurance i should have received the original ray ban case. So not sure if these where old glasses, defective?? not sure! it has been two months and the lenses are already popping out of my frames, and for some weird reason over a matter of a month I'm starting to develop this weird rash/burn on my nose where the lenses sit. I called today to see if they could help me out maybe get some contact lenses and i would pay or maybe help me with the frames. I just got the call that they are not able to help me as it has been past 21 days! So since they are not even trying to help me i am taking my business somewhere else. Very disappointed on how the quality of service gone down since the first time, seems more money hungry to me! So thank you, you have just lost a customer! read more

Worst service ever! I don't know if they were having an off day or what, but the lady that finally looked up to greet me looked at me as if I was asking for a hand out. I had an appointment and the Dr. wasn't even in the office, they had to call her to let her know I was there. Needless to say I had to wait way past my appointment time. the exam took all of 6 min. and then out to their showroom where the same disenchanted faced lady that greeted me made a poor attempt to fit me with glasses. I ended up making my selection on my own because I couldn't stand to deal with that attitude any longer. I almost asked if there was anyone else that could help me, but the other younger lady didn't have a pleasant look either, she just sat behind the desk munching away on something and glaring at me as if I had interrupted their lunch time or something, which was weird because it was only 10:30. I was told it would take 7 - 10 business days to get my glasses and that they would call me as soon as they came in. It was more like 3 weeks and I ended up calling them. A bit of advice for the staff: if you don't enjoy dealing with the public maybe you should seek a different type of employment. Advice to prospective Patients: don't even bother, I'm sure their are plenty of better Dr.s and staff members in the area that will take you're insurance or money, as a matter of fact there's a place practically next door called Visionmax, there's a Walmart and a Sam's Club across the street and I believe there's an Optometrist in the other side of the Chino spectrum as well as a Target. read more
