Sebastian (one of the owners) showed up on time, walked through the entire process, made recommendations, and was the perfect combination of personal and professional. I received my quote that same evening. The next morning, I called them back (again, they answered), and was able to schedule the installation for the following week. Fast forward to installation day: they arrived on time, gave me timing expectations, and went to work. There was a little more work than anticipated, which they DID NOT charge extra for, and it took about 2 hours longer than expected. During this time, Sebastian pulled the single most unexpected move in the history of professional contractors... He went out and bought lunch for ME (and his crew). He apologized for the delay, and wanted to reassure me that they had to make sure everything was done correctly, and didn't want to rush. Upon completion, I paid the invoice cost (he refused to take money for the lunch), and I asked how I could help promote his business. I've worked with well over 50 contractors in my life, and Sebastian ranks one of the best. If you need insulation, or know anyone who does, then do yourself a favor and give these guys a call.

No fancy brochures or gimmicks were offered. They arrived on time for the promised free estimate, provided an e-mail quote the same day and were able to schedule the work sooner than promised. They arrived as expected, removed the old insulation and carefully covered all of the mechanical equipment and walls in the basement in preparation for the foam application. They paid particular attention to my specific concerns and delivered on their promise to address them. They performed all work in a professional manner and did a thorough job cleaning up. I would absolutely call Foam Fellas again for my next insulation project. P.S. Their price was more than competitive with other insulation contractors!

We chose Green Cocoon based on their detailed proposal and the thorough conversations we had before…read moresigning the contract. Unfortunately, once the contract was signed, the organization and communication we initially experienced disappeared. Scheduling became incredibly difficult, with calls and emails going unanswered. On two occasions the crew simply didn't show up on the days we had confirmed. We rearranged work schedules to be home for these appointments, yet no apologies or explanations were offered beyond "we mixed up the dates." The first phase of the project, coordinated with our roofing company, was especially frustrating. The insulation crew arrived without any understanding of the plan and without the equipment they needed, forcing them to leave and return later. This delayed our roofers and put us in an uncomfortable position having to explain the situation. Scheduling the second half of the job was equally challenging. When the crew finally arrived, they again seemed unaware of what was supposed to be done, and ultimately did not complete all the work outlined in our contract. This required scheduling a third visit, during which the team showed up without proper tools and had to borrow ours in order to finish removing old insulation. We requested a specialist afterward to confirm that everything had finally been completed, but this amounted only to a brief walkthrough and quick scan of the areas. While the insulation work itself appears to have been done well, the management and scheduling process was exceptionally poor. We shared all of these concerns with the only contact we were able to reach, yet received no real acknowledgment or resolution. Unless Green Cocoon makes significant improvements to their scheduling and internal communication, I cannot recommend them. I genuinely hope the end result of the work holds up over time, but the experience getting there was unnecessarily stressful.

We started by having PA come in and apply 2" of closed cell foam on the entire building envelope. Then we applied a 1.5" layer of Dow Board strips over the studs to provide thermal bridge blocking. Then we had PA come back in and fill ouT the stud bays with open cell to provide a very tight and well insulated package. These guys do such a nice job. They take pride in the work and leave the job site super clean and neat when done. They take the time to protect the building elements that need to stay clean. Over all an excellent experience and I would recommend them to peOple looking to do it right.

We needed a little upgrade as we had walmart blinds that looked like....well walmart blinds…read more Someone had suggested takking to Dave at bayside blinds so i reached out to him. He came over with samples, made suggestions and we said Yes! We had new blinds and cornish done for our first floor and just Wow! What a total upgrade. Sure they are expensive but the finish on the cornish and blinds are outstanding! We also had him add room darkening shades in our bedroom and man, thdd ex quality of sleep is noticeable. We have six really big wide 6 foot windows and added the top cornish plus two 3 foot wide normal windows and the entire job came in close to $5 grand. But the finished product added at least twice that to the value of our home. I usually don't spend anything like this but bayside blinds added such a great look to our home. Dave was pretty chill and such a nice guy and would not take final payment until the job was 100% completed. Can't recommend him enough.

Disgusting practice of continually parking in the only handicapped spot in my whole neighborhood…read more If you try to park behind them, you'll be blocking a hydrant and get a ticket. I asked them to move and they wouldn't. Then called the company and the person who answered the phone didn't even try to appear to be sympathetic. I'm about tired of every construction or contracted company parking in this handicapped spot. Ableist, and unforgivable. People with disabilities shouldn't have to beg able bodied people not to park in disability parking. Find another company.
