Blizzard ! This Dairy Queen is a local favorite! The people who run this business could not be nicer! I am so happy that they made it through the pandemic and are still here. The establishment is clean, the ice cream is delicious and the people are friendly and always happy to see you! I wish that I could eat more ice cream because I would be here more often!

Owner went above and beyond to make sure my son's custom cake was AWESOME! Appreciate the customer service so much I'll be coming back for future birthdays!

    New, very clean store!

This is a new Dairy Queen to our area and we could use a good one. I am withholding a 5 star until they get "organized". The Sunday night we were there, the staff seemed to be having communication problems with protocol for orders and processing. I am hopeful this will get worked out and our next visit will go more smoothly. Examples: 5 groups of ice cream orders and service was out of order so waiting customers were frustrated & staff not sure how to make "a Boston" so they had to find the "recipe". However, customers did get served with smiles and happy attitudes which worth a lot and they did find the "recipe" and our Boston was correct. I adore their still of hanging the concrete shakes upside down to prove they are "solid". Very Fun. We will be back and I will update this post after our next visit. I have a good feeling about this place!

The staff here could not be any nicer. I came in for a cake for my son's birthday and he explained how you can order and the process. I ended up taking one of their premade cakes and the gentleman (I wish I got his name) was more than helpful in decorating the cake and giving me plenty of options. This gentleman made my son's birthday so special for him! Highly recommended and will come back for blizzards soon!

Nice staff and fast service. Who doesn't like ice cream? We have been here twice and the consistency of the product has been great each time. Definitely plan to return. Small store, could use some more tables but then it would feel a little crowded. Also serves Orange Julius products as well as hot food.

    It's the front counter!

Good cakes ! Chocolate flavor here tastes a little odd tho in blizzards and cones - not sure why?

Very dirty in here. Looked like it had flooded and they never cleaned the floors. Disappointed.

This place is garbage. It took 1 hour to get a couple of blizzards. There were 3 people working and only 2 of seem engaged.

I love how this DQ has the grill. Ones I have been to do not, so this is great to have during lunch and treat yourself to a soft serve.

Just ok. They do have a good selection of ice cream and it…read moretasted good. I felt $7.49 for a single scoop hot fudge sundae was a little much but maybe it's inline with other ice cream places. My daughter did not like the strawberry banana smoothie she ordered. The young lady who helped us was cordial but not particularly friendly. The other girl behind the counter spent almost the entire time we were there (we ate our ice cream at a table inside) chatting with a female customer who she obviously knew. I also accidentally tipped my cup over at the register and about half of my whipped cream fell out onto the counter. I told the young lady who served us what happened, apologized and tried to clean it up a bit with some napkins. She only mentioned she could clean it - in hindsight it would have been nice if she had offered to give me a bit more to replace what I lost but that never happened. When she was done charging us, she then came out from behind the counter and sat and chatted with another third young lady who was there (possibly another worker?). It just gave an unprofessional vibe and I do wish more adults in businesses would provide the young adults with some guidance and lessons in good customer service within the hospitality industry.

And this shop is awesome!! They have a lot of flavors that can be eaten in cups, waffle/sugar/or plain cones, or in the form of shakes/malts. They also have banana splits, traditional sundaes, and floats/sodas. Plus other treats like gourmet popcorn and chocolate dipped bananas. The inside is decorated so cute! It's painted vintage lavender-pink and white. There are cute photos and a mural on the wall depicting the Sherman's ice cream they serve which provides a modernly executed old-fashioned charm. I liked the vintage ice cream wrapper puzzle framed on the wall (pictured.) We loved the ice cream. What they do right with their product is the wide selection of flavors. Lately Oberweiss has severely limited their selection (a lot of places have....category management was the necessity of the past decade). But it's ICE CREAM! When you go out, into downtown Hinsdale no less, you have come to expect greatness, gourmet, top-of-the-game kind of food situations. This assortment of flavors, cones, toppings, etc. brings that essence to the going out for ice cream experience but doesn't toss out the folksy soda-shop charm that goes so well with it (and doesn't make it feel forced, either.) This business so gets all of that. Nice job!

The cleverly-named Every Day's A Sundae has a home just north of the train tracks on Main St between Gia Mia & Sushi House. There's another location in downtown Hinsdale, also near a BNSF train station. Commuters on the Metra must love getting ice cream after work. Inside, there's seating for 15-20 people plus a couple benches outside. They stock Sherman's ice cream, a beloved place based out of South Haven, Michigan that I've been to several times (I can attest that it's the real deal and not an impostor). They have frozen bananas and icees in addition to over 40 flavors of hard scooped ice cream. I got a single scoop of the "chocomania" ($4) and it was great. Our 4yo loved his simple yet satisfying vanilla cone w/sprinkles ($5) and our toddler enjoyed a few spoonfuls of my wife's birthday cake cone ($4). The young staff were good about free samples and kept a brave face despite a gaggle of screaming kiddos. * TL;DR * You better finish that thing before it melts! If you haven't yet gone out for an ice cream cone so far this season (or dish, I don't judge), what are you doing with your life?? It's been sweltering for weeks, but a double scoop of Mackinac Island Fudge or Traverse City Cherry can properly cool things down. Young kids -- and the young at heart -- flock to Every Day's A Sundae when the weather gets hot, so expect a crowd and/or wait on evenings between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Prices are reasonable and there's lots of flavors to pick from, so swing on by before summer's gone!

Both my husband and I got a scoop on a cake cone, and his cone literally disintegrated in his hand dropping the ice cream on the ground and my cone had a massive hole in the side. Of the ice cream we ate, there were chunks of freezer burns, and both were rapidly melting down our hands within 30 seconds of receiving our ice cream. For close to $10, I'd expect better - and usually get better, but we haven't been this summer so I hope this was a fluke and not a sign of decline of a local ice cream shop. The fact that I ended up throwing away my ice cream without finishing it says it all - I love ice cream & truly the first time I've ever thrown out a cone without even getting halfway through.
