DQ is still a little mixed for me. My daughter and her friends went to get some ice cream for a birthday celebration. The first one to order was the last one to receive their order and it was a substantial wait. Prices here are also a little steep considering it's only ice cream. The price of their ice cream cakes has really gone up and ice cream itself is just high now. I suggest hiring up BK a couple blocks away for a yummy vanilla cone. It's very satisfying for $2, and creamy too. That said, the Blizzards here are delicious is you find the right combination for your tastes. My favorite is the vanilla with heath. Worst dairy queen around. I have given them so many tries but they cant seem to make a half decent blizzard any time I go. Attached is a photo of my "Reese's pb cup blizzard" that tasted like it was made with bottom of the bucket crumbs and wasn't even blended. I had gotten a butterfinger blizzard with extra butterfinger as well and it barely had 1 portion of butterfinger. My wife loves this place. Every time we drive by we have to stop. I have grown accustomed to ordering different items. My favorite is the blizzard. I got reeses pieces/twix combo which was very interesting. Problem was the reeses were stale and so were the twix. Not the best. The ice cream is pretty good though. Very creamy. The new location is kind of small and there isn't much seating. I expected it to be bigger and with more tables since the old location was always crowded. This confuses me because in the summer the line is out the door at this place! Besides the actual store, everything else here is great! When not packed, service goes pretty fast. The employees are always friendly. When there is a line, be prepared to wait a while. This is understandable though because items like blizzards take a few extra minutes to make. No matter what, my ice cream has always been delicious from here! I love it and come here all the time, even in the winter! Warren Buffet's BRK :NYSE Dairy Queen is in the Borough Park Ridge, Bergen County, New Jersey at a kind a new location.. Saturday Night was crowded , BTW,the most people I ever saw in the locations. This location at least is kinda easier getting in and out of.. but the street needs , IMHO, to be widened for more volume of vehicular traffic. The staff was great especially the Manager. Attention to detail is a need for training the staff as they will learn in other jobs later in life.. This location was clean too a must in any dairy products store. This was my first time coming to this location on Saturday night. The place was pretty empty but extremely clean. The girl behind the counter must of not been paying attention when we paced our orders because she messed up both of our orders. I asked for a vanilla cup with hard chocolate shell and strawberries and my friend ordered a blizzard with chocolate ice cream. I received my vanilla cup with strawberries and chocolate shavings. My friend received hers with vanilla ice cream after specifying chocolate. When we brought the mistake to the girls attention she made it seem as though we were inconveniencing her even though she was the one that messed up our order. I am very surprised about my visit here. This is the second time I have been to the new location and it is very small. I don't think there will be enough space in the new location because the line there was completely out of the door. The special relations isn't the only problem. I ordered the peanut butter cookie dough blizzard and there were barely any toppings on it until I ate to the bottom of the blizzard. The same thing happened to my mom because she ate the s'mores blizzard. No adult supervision, 5 confused teens, long lines and only one cashier make this a tough choice for me. I'll start by saying I went at 7:30pm on a Saturday. The line was almost to the door and no one opened another register. In the few times I've been here, I can't remember seeing anyone over the age of 20 behind the counter. The owners here are very trusting to not have someone in charge. The food is fine but it should be past the point where an employee is confused about a product or how to run a register. Every time I'm here it's a rigamaroll to get a small vanilla soft serve with some hot fudge! Their Panera-style ordering system (place an order with a cashier & someone 'on the line' creates your frozen treat) just doesn't seem to be working. It's a vast store with a lot of negative space that could be filled up with seating or something, but instead it's just filled with confused people standing around waiting for their ice cream. Cleanest, newest DQ around! Super friendly staff and always plenty of staff at your service! Super cool layout and plenty of space to chill and hangout with the entire family. They have outside seating and couches and huge tvs inside as well! It's an Orange Julius too so you can satisfy your smoothie wants and needs as well. I've never seen or experienced a DQ like this! I should call this place Dairy Amnesia because every time I go here I always end up disappointed and claim "NEVER AGAIN!" Capitalizing on the pumpkin craze, Dairy Queen didn't have to work too hard to get me into the store with the promise of a pumpkin pie blizzard. Sadly, what I ended up with was a bunch of pumpkin flavored sift serve and very little pie. I don't know if the employees have been instructed to skimp on the mix ins in order to help boost profit margins but I am not exaggerating when I say I MAYBE had 7 bits of pumpkin pie in a small blizzard. If you want to be treated disrespectfully by very young workers, this is the place. My husband and I went here for two ice cream's last Saturday night and while he got his order I was left waiting for mine while his melted. The customers after us then got their order. Mine was a small vanilla hot fudge Sunday. I politely asked the boy standing behind the counter where he thought my order was and he immediately became rude and belligerent to me. I told him all he had to say was I'm sorry I'll check on that for you. Instead he continued to speak badly and obnoxiously toward us all the way out the door. I went with my mask on and tried to order. I was told that they could not understand me. I pulled my mask up slightly so I could speak more freely. A second person yelled at me and said I needed to put my mask back or I would not be served. I said I only did it because the cashier said he could not understand me. Ok the good first. Place is clean, staff friendly and cheerful. The bad. They could use better management. Eg I was in kine fir 20 minutes with only 5_6 ppl ahead of me. All I wanted was an icecream cone. It wod.have been more efficient to ring up the sales and hand out the shakes as they are done and have one person man the icecream freezer so items that can be delivered fast should not take long. I'm a long time fan of DQ -- this was my job during high school in my home town. That said, I rarely have a bad experience at one. Last night both blizzards were full of ice cream not mixed into the other blizzard goodies. The flavor goodies were all on the bottom of the cup. Made for an unpleasant treat. read more

I go to this DQ about once every two to three weeks. Great ice cream and especially the s'mores blizzard... yum! But it can get very busy on weekend nights! I love it here but if it's a weekend night and you want a quick ice cream run wouldn't recommend... great birthday cakes too! read more

I have stopped in several times to order a Blizzard and they have gotten some aspect of my order wrong every single time. The last time I was there I was given a Mint Oreo Blizzard without any mint flavoring in it as all. Service ranges from lackadaisical to surly. This place absolutely is the most inefficient operation I've ever experienced. You'd think with the several employees they have behind the counter, that they could manage to service customers better. One takes the order at the register, and the rest stare up at the computer screen waiting for the order to come through. And omg - the sizing - they just can't get it right. A small cone is a large; a small blizzard is overflowing. The sofa floats are served pouring out of the cups like a mess! It's just unenjoyable. I'm shocked how this place makes a profit with the waste; inefficiencies; and unnecessary staffing for the service line. You'll stand in line all night , and the service is just subpar. read more
