After some quick evaluation, Ashley pointed out that a ton of flaws in my diet. While it was all healthy to begin with, it was low on carbs and not nearly enough calories to sustain my workout load. Most people tend to think that an RD is to help you lose weight, but Crave Health helped me in a whole different way. The plan put together for me was with my heavy workout load in mind without being too disruptive. I was injury free for the next 4 months and got my best time in my last half-marathon. Recently, I've been going to lose fat without necessarily losing weight. Ashley got me a modified plan and kept tabs on my progress during our visits. I have lost 2% body fat (from 19 to 17% and on my way to reach 15% goal). I have not experienced the challenges from another reviewer in scheduling appts. I work late and Crave Health has a couple of days where they take appts until late afternoon. Scheduling has been easy over email. Check your insurance and you might find out a few visits are covered in your plan. I do recommend Crave health and I'm still a client.

The sessions themselves were relaxing and thoughtfully guided, and I always felt supported and respected during our time together. However, I hired her specifically for weight loss, and unfortunately, I did not lose any weight despite committing significant time, effort, and money to the process. I truly wanted this to work -- but it simply did not produce results for me. I understand that hypnosis may work very well for some people. It just wasn't effective in my case, and I wish I had known sooner so I could have redirected my time and money elsewhere. If you're looking for a caring practitioner and are curious about hypnosis, she may be a good fit. If your primary goal is measurable weight loss, I would recommend going in with realistic expectations and understanding that results are not guaranteed.

Shalynn is extremely professional, articulate, and logical in her approach to working with the subconscious/conscious minds. Highly Unprofessional - Steer Clear!!…read more My experience with Lynn Crowder was nothing short of appalling. She is neglectful and frankly it makes me question her suitability for a job that requires organization and consistent communication. If you're looking for a therapist who will respect your time, this is absolutely not the person. Lynn was always very disorganized and for whatever reason completely ghosted me, despite a seemingly normal client-therapist relationship. All communication stopped cold. Despite my efforts to reach her (phone calls where I left voicemails, text, and email) I received absolutely zero response (even to this day, several months later). I started worrying that perhaps something happened to her (she is old after all). I eventually called her building (we normally communicate directly), and a colleague confirmed that Lynn was fine and they see her daily. I'm glad to hear she was okay, but that's extremely unprofessional to just ignore someone who is trying to reach you for weeks! I would have just appreciated a heads-up if she had something going on in her life (which she has previously informed me of a couple times when she was a no-show to our remote sessions). A therapist should be reliable and communicate clearly, not knowingly leave people in the dark - that's just unacceptable. To anyone considering her as a therapist just save yourself the headache and go with someone else!

Nothing seemed to work. Then, a colleague recommended hypnotherapy. After doing my research, I decided to work with Tracy Barrett Adams, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made. In just a couple of sessions, I noticed a significant improvement in my sleep. Tracy's approach, while it may seem "alternative" to some, her work is very professional. She shared simple, strategies that made perfect sense and were easy to incorporate into my routine. If you're struggling with insomnia or other sleep challenges, I highly recommend Tracy Barrett Adams. Her expertise and compassionate approach truly made a difference in my life!

If you're on the fence about whether or not to try hypnotherapy out, just go for it. I was a nail biter/skin picker all my life. My fingers always hurt and at least one was bleeding and swollen every day. I tried all of the things - regular therapy, bitter nail polish, gloves all day long, acrylics, gels. You name it, I had tried it - and they all failed. Enter Tracy. She clearly explained every step of the treatment and was very honest that I would need to put in the work along with the therapy, this wasn't a magic fix. I had 3 sessions with Tracy over three weeks and 37 years of repetitive destructive behavior is gone. My mind is blown. It's still surreal to me that I have stopped. It turns out it wasn't a habit I needed to break, it was a coping mechanism that I needed to confront and let go of. And Tracy lead me through the entire journey. It sounds trite to say 'Tracy does life changing work' - but it's true. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Tracy!!!! - Lauren

But some trauma doesn't just want to be thought through. Mine were leaving marks on my body and health. I didn't try talk therapy for very long--I saw no progress. Hypnotherapy has been EFFICIENT. Over a total of 12 sessions, I've recovered a great deal of peace and health. That's a damn fine bargain. I've told all my uber-rational friends about this. I haven't seen other hypnotherapists, but here are some special strengths of Katerina's that I don't think can be trained in hypnotherapy school: For one, she is sharp. Katerina is able to relate my skeptical background, even as the therapy itself takes very spiritual turns. I connected instantly to her precise use of words and language. She doesn't turn to canned questions -- I get the sense that she responds to her clients in an extremely tailored, perceptive way. She's devoted. During our last session, we had intended to record a special MP3 for my sleep apnea. She'd taken the time to write a hypnosis specifically for me, with topics from past sessions woven in. My phone died halfway through the recording, so Katerina recorded it again, on her own time, that very same evening so that I could start listening that night. I can't recommend her highly enough. Hypnotherapy has been a highlight of my year -- imagine that!

Two women were talking about a hypnotherapist that they loved, I overheard, asked them who it was and the rest is history. Our sessions were in person and hypnotherapy and reiki in person at the beginning. I was able to work through my fears of driving in the rain in these sessions. My sessions with Erika have morphed into phone sessions of energy healing and life coach more than anything else. I also like the fact that I'm already home at the end of each session - normally I like to grab a drink of water and relax for a bit after each session so it's great to be able to do that. I highly recommend this option! Erika has helped me feel more grounded in my body, more confident, and far less stressed and anxious than I've ever felt.
