Sean's ability to engage the class in demanding and challenging material, in conjunction with his deep understanding and compassion towards the process of learning made this class very fulfilling and enjoyable on both an academic and personal level. Sean has also been a mentor to me through various writing and clinical projects, supporting my growth as a clinician and challenging me to dig deeper to find my own style. Most recently, Sean has been as supportive colleague as I prepare to move into my dissertation research and has continued to offer support and guidance in this process. Sean is passionate, smart, and holds a wonderful sense of humor that is often needed in this field.

After 6 months of coaching, I feel I found what I was looking for! I had tried starting a meditation practice about 10 years ago and enjoyed it, but found it difficult to keep up. Having Dr Hatt as a guide and inspiration through that practice was extremely helpful. I have meditated for 20 minutes almost (not quite ;-) every day for the last 6 months. I have come to not only do the practice, but understand and feel why it is so important, and feel that I've gained an incredibly important tool for handling work and other parts of my life moving forward. Mixing this with other techniques he teaches, and just having the benefit of a wise, compassionate, supportive coach in your corner really opens up new opportunities for growth that make finding the next chapter all the more exciting.

My favorite thing about Alex is that she worked a corporate job for many years before becoming a therapist. This is so important because as a young female Seattleite in tech, I struggled with many workplace issues that Alex instantly understood. She knew how I felt, and she knew exactly how bad things could get in the workplace. I still carry Alex's teachings with me, to this day. She had me run through several therapy exercises, including diagramming my core relationships and balancing my emotional and rational sides to achieve the wise mind. Alex gave me the strength to fight for my beliefs while taking care of myself. She gave me a safe space to recover and grow. I'm deeply grateful for Alex, and I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone in the Seattle area!

I could not thank Alex enough for all that she has done for me. Alex is generous, kind, honest and I could not have asked for better friend and life coach.

Her space is comfortable, a haven on the uppermost floor of the office building that houses her office. McKenzie Zajonc is the founder of the Inner Nutritionist™ and she works tirelessly to create a safe haven where women come to feel better. From her site: Inner Nutritionist™ is "a business committed to freeing women who have been hijacked by our diet-minded culture. She helps her clients trade in their food and body struggle for a more meaningful, free, and magnificent life. She is not your typical Nutritionist." It's true. McKenzie is not your typical nutritionist, she holds two master's degrees: one in Nutrition and one Health Psychology from Baster University, the world's largest Naturopathic Medicine school. She firmly believes in HAES, always listens, and never judges, offering in-office appointments and phone consults. I've always felt safe speaking with her. Always. There is street parking with a pay lot on the same block, if you can't find anything easily. If you are seeking someone to help you navigate any food issues or newly diagnosed allergies, McKenzie is an excellent choice.
