Dani Bohbot destroyed my daughters trust in therapy and has since refused to speak with any…read moretherapist, likely never will again. Do not see her. There are plenty of great therapists out there. Dani provided no actual guidance or help. See anyone else, don't destroy your child's trust on Dani. My daughter was going through a tremendously difficult issue and we thought Dani would be able to help. Dani provided almost no help, she was completely incapable of her role. Dani agreed to decisions we made on several occasions, then contacted the state, thinking her newly graduated self to be higher than thou. She forgot she e-mailed us each time with confirmation of our requests, and her agreement to the directions we chose to take. She directly lied to the state, putting our family in a VERY critical position. She can't be legally held against that either, even when lying through her teeth. The state laughed at her and closed the case, apologizing for Dani's unacceptable handling of things. Stay far away from Dani.

Our teenager was seeing a therapist here, we thought they were okay. It started with then accusing…read moreus of no showing when I know with 100% certainty I cancelled due to knowing we'll be out of town. Due to that they charged me $175 no show fee and demanded it be paid before coming in again. I argued that the appointment was cancelled, they would not reverse the charge. I decided since my child lived going there I will make payments, I paid pay off it and made appointments. The counselor then went in and canceled all the appointments I made. When I messaged asking about it. The initial response I got was that she was no longer taking new clients and I had to pay the balance in full. When I responded saying my child is not a new client. You have seen them before, well, you could see the response that I attached to this . I am very disappointed in how this counselor handled this whole situation and thinks that it is okay to just write off an already established patient. Let alone one who is just now becoming a teenager and really needs that outlet of someone other than their parents to talk to. Very bad practicing. (I wrote over child's name to hide it )

Since canceling back in August, I have been charged an additional $280 by them, split into random chunks of amounts ($25 here, $100 there...) and have literally been calling and emailing for over a month to get someone there to fix it. I knew there was no way I could do years of counseling to get through it, I needed something fast to help me return to normal life. I called ECC and asked Melanie what she could do to help heal me to accelerate the process of trauma, and get results and relief fast. She introduced me to EMDR and Matrix Reimprinting. I had never heard of such a thing and didn't know the technology behind them , and truly thought they sounded like a waste of time and would not work. But I was desperate. After learning how they work on the brain and body and the historical proven results, I gave them a try. Much to my surprise I was shocked to see that not only did they work but they gave fast results and relief to my grief and pain and reeling thoughts that would not stop. The effects were so positive I couldn't quite believe it could be that easy... I still am baffled and SO incredibly grateful to Melanie and ECC for having these techniques to offer to our community. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! I was able to quickly returned to normal life. I was also able to cope with all that came after the accident well. Later that year I also had a serious incident with a family member that I was feeling similar trauma about and went back to ECC. Katerina is a natural…read more For as long as I can remember, I've been uber-rational. That saved me as a kid. Before seeing Katerina, I always treated my trauma through a very cerebral process. But some trauma doesn't just want to be thought through. Mine were leaving marks on my body and health. I didn't try talk therapy for very long--I saw no progress. Hypnotherapy has been EFFICIENT. Over a total of 12 sessions, I've recovered a great deal of peace and health. That's a damn fine bargain. I've told all my uber-rational friends about this. I haven't seen other hypnotherapists, but here are some special strengths of Katerina's that I don't think can be trained in hypnotherapy school: For one, she is sharp. Katerina is able to relate my skeptical background, even as the therapy itself takes very spiritual turns. I connected instantly to her precise use of words and language. She doesn't turn to canned questions -- I get the sense that she responds to her clients in an extremely tailored, perceptive way. She's devoted. During our last session, we had intended to record a special MP3 for my sleep apnea. She'd taken the time to write a hypnosis specifically for me, with topics from past sessions woven in. My phone died halfway through the recording, so Katerina recorded it again, on her own time, that very same evening so that I could start listening that night. I can't recommend her highly enough.
