This was my first therapy I was in a bad accident and my doctor recommended I do therapy. I started seeing Amanda for EMDR she is very knowledgeable, kind and genuine. Therapy started off slow but it did pick up and I was able to work through my trauma from the accident and anxiety around being in a car and driving. It was hard work, but totally worth it. I'm really grateful to her. I appreciate her approach I never felt judge, she always says "life happens" and it's true. I have been going to see Amanda for over a year now and I cannot even begin to describe how much she has helped me. I used to have terrible anxiety and panic attacks on a weekly, sometimes daily basis. Through seeing Amanda and working on EMDR therapy I have been able to get a lot stronger hold of my anxiety and I am happy to say that I have gone over a year without a single panic attack, which is a big deal since before I started seeing her I'd started to have them almost every day. I was a little nervous about doing EMDR therapy at first, but Amanda eases you in and never pushes you more than you are comfortable with and always leaves time to make sure that you are feeling stable and good before leaving a therapy session. I recently moved to California and seriously wish I could have brought her with me. Thankfully I can still do Skype sessions with her and am able to see her whenever I am in town. :) read more

I was referred to Amanda through a friend feeling very pessimistic about process of "therapy". I was in a relationship that wasn't right for me, a job that was unfulfilling and didn't have the perspective at the time to connect my depression to the trauma I had experienced in my lifetime.
