My fingers always hurt and at least one was bleeding and swollen every day. I tried all of the things - regular therapy, bitter nail polish, gloves all day long, acrylics, gels. You name it, I had tried it - and they all failed. Enter Tracy. She clearly explained every step of the treatment and was very honest that I would need to put in the work along with the therapy, this wasn't a magic fix. I had 3 sessions with Tracy over three weeks and 37 years of repetitive destructive behavior is gone. My mind is blown. It's still surreal to me that I have stopped. Since canceling back in August, I have been charged an additional $280 by them, split into random chunks of amounts ($25 here, $100 there...) and have literally been calling and emailing for over a month to get someone there to fix it. It would be fine if I heard something back and for some reason I am mistaken, but the fact I have received no response whatsoever is infuriating. I called ECC and asked Melanie what she could do to help heal me to accelerate the process of trauma, and get results and relief fast. She introduced me to EMDR and Matrix Reimprinting. I had never heard of such a thing and didn't know the technology behind them , and truly thought they sounded like a waste of time and would not work. But I was desperate. After learning how they work on the brain and body and the historical proven results, I gave them a try. Much to my surprise I was shocked to see that not only did they work but they gave fast results and relief to my grief and pain and reeling thoughts that would not stop. The effects were so positive I couldn't quite believe it could be that easy... I still am baffled and SO incredibly grateful to Melanie and ECC for having these techniques to offer to our community. Katerina is a natural…read more For as long as I can remember, I've been uber-rational. That saved me as a kid. Before seeing Katerina, I always treated my trauma through a very cerebral process. But some trauma doesn't just want to be thought through. Mine were leaving marks on my body and health. I didn't try talk therapy for very long--I saw no progress. Hypnotherapy has been EFFICIENT. Over a total of 12 sessions, I've recovered a great deal of peace and health. That's a damn fine bargain. I've told all my uber-rational friends about this. I haven't seen other hypnotherapists, but here are some special strengths of Katerina's that I don't think can be trained in hypnotherapy school: For one, she is sharp. Katerina is able to relate my skeptical background, even as the therapy itself takes very spiritual turns. I connected instantly to her precise use of words and language. She doesn't turn to canned questions -- I get the sense that she responds to her clients in an extremely tailored, perceptive way. She's devoted. During our last session, we had intended to record a special MP3 for my sleep apnea. She'd taken the time to write a hypnosis specifically for me, with topics from past sessions woven in. My phone died halfway through the recording, so Katerina recorded it again, on her own time, that very same evening so that I could start listening that night. I can't recommend her highly enough. I saw Connie for the first time last Spring about some anxieties I was having about a relationship and in just one 2 hour session it was gone. Gone gone. Gone in such a way, it seemed silly and inconceivable that I ever got anxious about the relationship at all. Which then gave me the capacity to fully enjoy every moment and my relationship has flourished ever since. A few months after that - I decided I wanted to tackle another "issue" - and her work with that was again so magical and instant that I've been seeing her once a month to "tick off", one by one, any other obstacles that had been in the way of my goals. One of my favorites was in September - I saw her b/c my frustration with a co-worker had reached a breaking point, and I couldn't even stand to be in a meeting with him b/c my blood would boil out of frustration and annoyance and it was starting to affect my own performance.
