This review is either overdue or right on time. I've been visiting Darleen for about a year on and…read moreoff. So this review is factoring in my observations of her accuracy and how she's shown up when I've met with her over the course of the year. I've also kept notes from her readings and as I reflect on what she's shared with me, most of what she's read for me has been pretty accurate and consistent. It's actually quite chilling as I look back on my notes. Above all else though, she's incredibly caring and kind. She upholds a high standard of professionalism and is pretty amazing as a person. She's thoughtful, nonjudgmental, and a very powerful reader/clairvoyant. I'm now moving on to the next chapter of my life and am thankful I was able to check in with her time to time to find encouragement and hope. Thank you Darleen, you rock!

It has been a while since my reading, but I just remembered how "off" my experience was and felt…read morethe need to leave an honest review. I came in for a tarot reading. I was in the middle of a complicated relationship situation and really wanted some guidance on my love life. I was prepared to explain all this at the outset; I don't actually require magic from a tarot reader, just curiosity, and I find that having full context prior to a reading really informs the reading itself. However, this practitioner did not ask me a single question before she started laying many cards out on the table in a quick, automatic fashion. She jumped right into making predictions for my future--"career change in September," etc.---and asking me about things in my past -- "did something with your Dad happen in July?" that 1) I was not looking for, and 2) were simply not accurate, at least the questions she was asking about past events. At one point I even started feeling bad and looking for ways to make her past predictions correct, even though they were so off-base, because it was very awkward to keep telling her "no, not really." When I got curious and asked about some of the cards, she acted offended. I felt annoyed by that and I never got a deep read on any of the cards she pulled. Halfway through the "tarot reading" I booked, she seemed to get bored with the cards and switched to astrology. This annoyed me because I am really not an astrology person. I don't have my birth chart memorized and didn't know my time of birth off the top of my head. She proceeded to read my astrological chart anyway (which must have been inaccurate). She also had me "guesstimate" the birth time and birth place of the person I was in a relationship with. Based on this, she told me that our relationship existed in a "dead zone" and was destined to never go anywhere. I felt this was a totally inappropriate prediction to make on the basis of incomplete information (lacking birth times for both of us, and a birth place for one of us). In short, I am a pretty open-minded person but this experience was honestly quite bizarre. I would call it a total waste of money except that I got an interesting story out of it. It also clarified my interest in tarot. I am not interested in a fortune-telling approach to tarot, I am much more interested in using it as a tool for psychological introspection. If you feel the same, find a friend or acquaintance to read your tarot, not this service.

I've been seeing Dennis for the past few years (dating back to early 2009) and I must say that I am…read morea huge fan. My sister originally introduced me to Dennis when she heard about him from a girlfriend. Dennis works off your astrology chart by your birth place as well as birthtime/birthday. The prices aren't cheap but one thing that always blows my mind is what he knows about the past or the future year just based on these small facts. I know some might be skeptics but I go about once a year but sometimes I skip if I forget or don't feel I need a reading. His office is located in downtown Edmonds and a super cute part of town. He also records the recording for you and gives you a CD copy as you leave so you can listen to it later when you can't remember a section, etc.

I highly and without reservation, recommend Dennis to anyone who wants to understand more about life, learning and personal/spiritual growth. This is about the Seattle Astrologer at SeattleAstrology.org a/k/a Steven Shroyer. I wish I could…read moregive him no stars. I wasted a HUGE amount of money (3x what other Seattle astrologers charge for a solar return reading) on this astrologer thanks in part to the rave reviews on YELP. I paid for a solar return reading for a loved one from Steven Shroyer. It was such a disappointment. First off, Steven screwed up the date for the in-person reading and ended up doing a phone call about a week later. Second, he said he was recording the session and would email the recording to my loved one for reference. He never did. And maybe that was a good thing for Steven, because he certainly wouldn't be proud to have a recording like that out in the world. Third, this was supposed to be a solar return reading. Steven defines it on his website: "A Solar Return reading is a fantastic way to familiarize yourself with the energies that you can expect to encounter during your coming year." But that is not what my loved one received, although he did ask Steven what was up this coming year, about his health in the coming year, what were the energies this coming year. Steven didn't say. My loved one gained no insights into the coming year whatsoever. Instead, Steven shared the insane ravings of a person so far down the conspiracy theory hole that either he's seriously losing it OR what he shared was really actually military secrets of the US Dept of Defense that some very stupid person who is very soon going to be in very deep trouble for sharing with such a blabbermouth (because Steven shared "military secrets" for nearly an hour) who told my loved one that aliens were crawling under the earth, erasing human memory, fiddling with human DNA, and living on the moon, which was never a moon, but always a space ship. (First Pluto, now the Moon, what does that do to a person's chart?) Another astrologer did his solar return chart after this debacle and saw none of that. Maybe she's the crazy one, only time will tell ... this could be a really weird year. Anyhow - a word to the wise: Do not lose this much money, do not get ripped off by Steven. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and lost a whole lot of money I will never see again because the fact that he spouted nonsense for nearly an hour means he "rendered the services" of an astrologer. Hey, other astrologers out there ... your reputations are going down the toilet because of people like Steven Shroyer. What happened to this guy?

I recently had a Complete Astrology Reading with Steven just before the full moon. The reading kicked off with a past life reading and how it tied into my current life and my natal chart. By the time we arrived at the Cross of Dharma, I felt elated that I was truly aligned with my purpose and it brought me enthusiasm about the future. Between sharing stories, his intuitive insights and reading my chart, we spent almost 2 hours on the phone. Steven's easygoing nature made him a joy to work with. I've never had such a thorough, insightful reading. He took the time to explain points on the chart and answered all of my questions. I'll definitely be calling him each year for a Solar Return!
