Our puzzle master, Jamie, did a great job of explaining the process before we got started, and I do appreciate that the door is unlocked so you can come and go as needed (didn't have to, but I remember when that wasn't the case!). We did the Witch's Cauldron, which was a really fun room to work with. Of course without giving anything away, everything was pretty clear in terms of what was next, and clues came way in handy when we asked for them, which was easily done by just saying so while looking at a camera. I think this was their newest room, but the first one I'd been to. I thought it was really well done, and everyone was engaged throughout. I especially prefer the rooms where there's a lot that needs to be done, so people can split up doing stuff rather than everyone crowding around one puzzle. I'd love to try another room there sometime!

The rooms are $32 per person (no discounts for children or weekday pricing), and with tax the total price for the three of us was $102.36. David was our game master and did a great job of explaining everything to us before we started and quickly feeding us clues during the game when we asked. We did the Egyptian Tomb: Imhotep's Curse because it felt the most like we were in Indiana Jones. I wish we had known there were actually two rooms, so that I might have budgeted my time better and asked for clues a little sooner. Alas, we did not escape the room(s), but it was still a great experience and it was all very well designed. I think we are all itching to come back for redemption, so we'll definitely return and give one of the other rooms a shot.

Candy Factory is personally my favorite of the 4 currently and Shipwreck is a close second. The clues and rhythm work so well here. The game master we had ran the game so well and was a great communicator with my group of friends (and friends of friends too.). Clean bathrooms and well run. Apparently they have a treehouse theme which is not offered or no longer offered presently. I also forgot to add that this is the first room I ran into that used camp lanterns and not flashlights. Failure! My second…read morevisit here ended the same as my first. A total failure! The failure being all mine in that I failed to escape the room I was in. Of course failure in this instance is an accepted result for fun. Our host David, was great in setting up the event and moderating our experience. Our group was setup with the room was closely matched the experience in our group. The tasks involved might have been a little much for the three person group I was in, I'd say a group of four to six is probably best for escaping without help and on time. David informed us of new rooms in progress, including an adult themed crime scene room in the works. There is also a hatchet throwing setup available which I didn't partake in. The costs are fair for the rooms they have. I'd surely be up for another escape (or failure) soon.

Because of the interest of my friends mainly, I was curious to see the differences between Blind Tiger Speakeasy here and the one in OBX escape rooms. The setup and price here is much better. I don't remember all the nuances, but I know the modifications done with KOP are much better. The beginning puzzle, they let you solve it intuitively in parts rather than expect the entire combination to be correct. This helps with playability and the fun factor. They have wonderful employees that work here. Jaden was no exception! I did catch on to some clues faster because even though I didn't remember exactly what I did with my group at the OBX one, I did have a faint inkling. At the OBX one, we didn't solve it but had help from a guide in the room as I was only in a group of 3, the room there required a minimum of 4, and we had to pick rooms that could serve physical accommodations there. I'm still "waiting" for some escape room in the general area to do escape the 90s. The closest one from my area right now seems to be Rochester, which is too far. I do pass by that way once in awhile, but being only one person makes it tough. . .

The 1 hour always flies by as we were trying to figure out all of the clues. We chose the Speak Easy puzzle which was great. We had to ask for multiple clues to get started however, once we got in the groove it was smooth sailing. The speak easy room was 4/6 difficulty so it made for a fun time. By the end of the session we were exhausted from scrambling around but it was worth it in the end. We were able to complete the puzzle however, the last two clues did not work so the staff had to come into the room to help us. From her knowledge they just redid that room and all the clues were not set up correctly therefore, we could not truly complete the quests. Overall, it was a good time. Great team building exercise. I wish they made sure the room was fully functional prior to allowing customers to book that space for the 1 hour session. I recommend checking this establishment out if you are in the area. Cheers!

I have only participated in three (3) escape rooms, however, the experience here was superior. The staff were all really polity and supportive, the rooms themselves were clean and tidy, and the woman that provided us with the rules was very kind and supportive - it actually felt like she was rooting for us. There is another escape room place down the street (Amazing Escape Room)... do not waste your time or your money. If you want a stellar experience - Escape Room Mystery is the place to go.

It was a first time for my brother-in-law and his wife, and it started getting them kind of hooked. We've all done a few here and there since then, and we still think that this place does a particularly good job. There's a good level of challenge, and they provide some pretty good backstory to go along with the room too. More recently, we went to try out their second room, The Estate, which has a story connected to the first room. It was another fun and challenging room, and they introduced some really interesting aspects to the puzzles. Looking forward to when they open their third room!
