I've been here twice with my wife, her brother and sister-in-law. Our first time, we went on a Groupon deal for Abigail's Room, their first escape room. It was a first time for my brother-in-law and his wife, and it started getting them kind of hooked. We've all done a few here and there since then, and we still think that this place does a particularly good job. There's a good level of challenge, and they provide some pretty good backstory to go along with the room too. More recently, we went to try out their second room, The Estate, which has a story connected to the first room. It was another fun and challenging room, and they introduced some really interesting aspects to the puzzles. Looking forward to when they open their third room! read more

Boyfriend and I did the Estate tonight with a random group of four others. Got there a little early, and as others have stated - parking is limited, so be prepared to not have a space in their direct lot. The upstairs is a nice size, waiting room is comfortable. I've done my share of escape rooms already, it was his first time, and the room was an appropriate difficulty for all users. Some puzzles were a little easier than others, and there's a great twist to the room at the end when you think you've won, except you haven't. All-in-all, a well-designed room, great staff and game masters, and will definitely be back to do the other room at some point soon. read more

Called to ask a couple polite questions and was treated rudely by a condescending man who did not identify himself that had answered the phone. Hours posted online do not match the hours they are open. They didn't even answer the phone for the first hour and a half they are supposedly open. IT WAS A BLAST!!! I had a group of 6 of us who had never done an escape room before. We didn't know what to expect. First arriving Amanda at the desk was super friendly. We waited patiently in the lobby for our turn as we tried to figure out some riddles they had hanging in the lobby. Our turn came and Amanda explained everything we needed to know with a short video to figure out who killed Abigail. As we approached her room it was like we were in a different world, like actually her playroom. The storyline, the clues and hidden secrets were thought out so perfectly. With all of our thinking and with some of Amanda's help WE DID ESCAPE!! We can't wait to go back and do the second part of the storyline. We all loved it !! read more

We definitely needed more than a few in the last couple of minutes. We managed to escape with only a minute or two left on the clock! I'll keep these 5 star ratings going for a fun *first* time with my group of 4 and 2 people we didn't know. I won't give any spoilers but the locals who help set this up did a great job! From the entrance to the actual room and backstory, they create a suspense that pulls you into the story. It really does require teamwork and I felt that a group of 6 is the perfect number. There were a few technical difficulties but these were addressed to the staff who can hopefully fix it for next time. Overall, I highly recommend this "escape room" to others going on a date or a group outing. It's great for the price and well worth it. read more

I've been to several 'escape the rooms' in the past and I've always had a great time, but this room in particular blows the competition away. The staff is super friendly and professional. They've done an excellent job with developing the ultimate escape room scenario. The attention to detail and the presentation of the various puzzles is simply remarkable. They really do a awesome job with immersing people into the storyline. So far they only have one room (Abigail's Playroom) but I'm hoping they open up a new location sometime soon! I'm an escape room junkie. The staff was super nice. We called ahead to see if we could get the room to ourselves and they let us know it would be the cost of the room plus 7.50 for the spaces they wouldn't sell to keep it private. We lucked out and were able to go before our 845pm scheduled slot. They graciously called me to let me know and we got in at 730. The place was a little hard to find, best to turn into the parking lot with the massage sign. Parking lot is shared with tenants of apartment so you can park in any space thats not designated to tenants. Up the stairs theres a nice waiting area. We chose abigail's room which is the easier one, the more difficult was already booked. I liked that you have the options for automatic hints or waiting to request them. 48% success rate is pretty decent. There were some times I was stumped and luckily the hints came to nudge us along. Very creative puzzles. We loved It! Not the best I've ever done which is why 4 stars but overall a very enjoyable experience. They honored the Groupon pricing with the 20%discount Groupon was offereing which was super nice of them. Will def go back to try the other room when in that area again read more

Really enjoyed this room. I thought the puzzles were challenging and not obvious, but doable. Kept us moving forward. The room was nicely maintained as well. We did Abigail's Playroom. First off, Amanda is amazing. She's super nice and approachable and thoroughly explains all the rules and guidelines before heading into the escape room. She made the experience just that much better! The room itself was really interesting and overall it was such a fun experience. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here. In regards to covid, the entire facility looks extremely clean and there is sanitizer located at the front desk. Employees and guests wear masks and you must wear gloves when inside of the room. I didn't know Edison had an escape room! My friends and I purchased a groupon deal to do Abigail's playroom and it was a really fun afternoon. We felt that it was a complex room but nothing impossible (we didn't have to ask for hints) but it was really satisfying to solve the room. (we escaped with just under 10 minutes left!!) I hope at some point that I'll go back to do the other room(s) (? I don't remember how many other rooms there are) but I definitely recommend this for some fun in an otherwise somewhat boring Edison (lolol) read more

My group and I are beginners when it comes to escape rooms, meaning we've only done a few - and they were always at 'The Escape Room,' and when we compare the two companies we REALLY enjoyed The Escape Plan. The whole production of room was really cool, they had videos the corresponded to the room we were in, which was 'Abigail's Playroom.' It was just very different compared to 'The Escape Room,' company. The staff was extremely friendly, and very nice. We really enjoyed the puzzles and the complexity of the room. Nothing was obvious.. we were able to put all 7 of our heads together to try and figure out what we needed to do, and if we got really stumped, we asked for a hint. We really enjoyed 'The Escape Plan,' and we cannot wait to return and enter 'The Estate.' What's really cool is the two rooms they have, play-off of one another, which I really love. Went here with my daughter, niece and nephew for my birthday. The "Escape Room" was so much fun. Had a story line as well as very good puzzles to solve. The room our group went into is the estate one. The other half of our party did Abigail's room but as I personally did not do that one, can't really speak on behalf of it. But the estate one was so much fun! I love how they give you the option to get hints automatically or ask for them as a group - this makes the whole experience very different. I also enjoyed the timeline and the puzzles we had to solve. Each finding was so exciting. When we escaped we all screamed like little girls (4 dudes 2 gals - hahaha). My favorite escape room so far! They've designed it so well, all the way from the background story to the very last reveal. I'd recommend having at least 5 people in your group to help finish on time. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Due to some unforeseen events, we arrived about 25 minutes later than our scheduled time. So I thought we'd have to reschedule for another date/time (since there was another group scheduled right after us). But they STILL took us in and made it work. I thought that was incredibly thoughtful of them. Overall, we all thought this was 100% worth our money, and we agreed that we wanna do another one soon. We have been on an escape room frenzy for the past two months and we started running out of rooms because we've been going to at least one a week. We randomly found this one online and decided to check it out. Let me just say that the host Amanda was very friendly and energetic. Someone who seems to enjoy their job, for sure. We had a phenomenal time and by far one of our favorite rooms so far. We love a good murder mystery and this room gave us exactly that. We will definitely be going back for the second room. We very much wanted to attend the escape plan for our corporate event. After leaving a message about using a Groupon, Amanda called back and was lovely! She let us know that the owners would work with us in terms of bringing our whole group in for both rooms. This was on Saturday. I left three more messages and never got a call back. Not only is it disappointing that the customer service from the owners is absent, but we really wanted to go to this escape room. We sure hope to learn there was an issue with the phones and that we can get a call back. read more

This was my first ever "escape the room" but it was not others in my group. All the people who have tried other "escape the room" experiences agreed that this was one of the best they have tried by far. Can't give too much detail, obviously, or it ruins the fun. But the puzzles were fun and creative and made the experience a lot of fun. The room is small-ish so I would not suggest a group larger than 7 or 8 max as it got kinda hot in the room. Other than that, we had a lot of fun! There is a follow up experience, a "prequel" to the story that we hope to try in the future! read more

The outside of the building is a bit nondescript so we were admittedly a bit skeptical before we entered, but the room is FANTASTICALLY done and really made us think outside the box on many levels at many occasions. Our host was incredibly nice with his hints (he gave us the option of periodic versus only-as-requested hints, and we chose the former), and we had a great time. Such a fun time here! I took the kids I babysit, a friend of theirs and their mom came along- We're a fun time already but this was so fun for us! We all contributed and had to work together to figure out the puzzle. The room gives hints that are specific to your group which is really helpful! We had 30 seconds to spare but made it out!
