Wow. I'm not an amusement park gal, but this place exceeded my expectations. The employees were…read morekind, it felt relatively clean for an amusement park, the shows and parades had great messages and happy talent, there was PLENTY for my 4.5 year old and my 18 month old to do. There were tons of rides ranging from carousels to mini roller coasters. I was surprised at how many my 18 month could do. He really enjoyed them. There were playgrounds, large slides, arcades, shops, fair games, and characters. The water park was huge but that was closed when we went because it was March. We went in March so it wasn't too busy and the lines were reasonable. I can imagine it not being as fun if it were much more crowded than it was. There were multistall gendered restrooms and some inclusive and family restrooms. The only things I'd critique are that the fair game prices were so wildly high- like $6 to shoot one basketball and they make you walk through a big store to exit the park.

And I have to to admit, while cold, the holidays are a wonderful time to visit. About half of this amusement park is dedicated to their pool and water activities. But the winter was such a nice time with the smaller crowds and photo opps. My kids love meeting their favorite characters, especially Big Bird. He's the star of the show. But we also loved the encounter with Bert and Ernie. As gay dads, we loved that they upped the camp for this greeting. It felt so special and normalized that there were two muppets that shared such affection like us. The kids had such a blast. And we went on the roller coast at least 10 times. They couldn't get enough of it!

Can you imagine how it'll be 10-15 years from now ? Anyway, onto the review. You walk in,sign a waiver and then choose which games you'd like to play(an associate assists you every step of the way) We paid for a 1/2 hour session which turned out to be more than enough time. (for me anyway) I made it about 5 minutes until I got an instant headache & dizziness. (I was expecting that honestly) From what I did experience it was impressive. It really does feel like your in another world. Tripped me out. My son on the other hand loved it ! He didn't want to leave. Said he could stay here for hours. Lol. They have Minecraft ... he wasn't kidding about the "stay for hours" thing. It really does seems like a great place for kids/Teens to hangout. The snack area alone is impressive. Soda, cookies, candy, chocolate ... & immersive gaming on top of that. Smart move by the business owners. Check this place out if you're a gamer or have gamer kids... It's an experience.

Since then, he has been asking to go back, which we did last night. The staff were attentive, friendly and worked well with the kids. The reason I did not give 5 stars is based upon the cleaning of the equipment, after each use. I cringed seeing one kid take off the VR eye wear, head phones and/or gloves and then put on the next child without even whipping it down. This happened both times we were here and one after another. At a minimum, the equipment could be wiped down with antibacterial wipes.
