She was attentive and helpful from beginning to end. She made the experience wonderful for all the kids. The facility was nice. There were plenty of arcades to keep the kids entertained while they waited to race, plenty of lounge chairs along the race track for parents to watch their kids race, and the food we ordered was decent for this kind of establishment. When it came to paying the bill at the counter, the details weren't listed on the screen but only the remaining balance and suggested tip of 15%, 18% and 20% which i thought was steep because it was based on the subtotal of which was primarily the cost of the racing package and not some kind of service you would typically tip that much for. However, since the hostess was amazing and pretty much did everything for our party, I had intended to tip her $100 cash anyway; so, I paid the 18% tip which was more on top of the $25 service fee(an expense that wasn't apparent until you ask for a detailed bill). Hopefully, the hostess received most of that tip intended for her. Overall, the experience at K1 in Horsham was good and more importantly, the kids had fun.

You have an S hook Axe (heaviest out of the three), Hatchet (Typical Axe), or the Tomahawk Axe. Close to the end of the session they bring out a Firemen Axe that you can attempt to throw at the target and is easiest the hardest to maneuver. In addition to the Axe throwing, they have a fun baskettball arcade two person competition game that you all should be familiar from the days of your childhood arcade days and many other fun games such as shuffle board, Jenga, darts etc. This is perfect if you have a large party and are waiting your turn to throw as you can play a fun game while you wait. When I think of Axe throwing I am reminded of the beginning of the movie, "The Bodyguard" with Kevin Costner. There is a scene where someone is trying to recruit him to take on the bodyguard job and he is leisurely lobbing an axe at a wooden stake trying to land a shot. The first great part is when we got out and my wife opened the trunk to reveal a packed cooler of beer! Now, I should note that while you are allowed to bring alcohol, you can't bring hard liquor and you cannot be visibly intoxicated or they will not admit you (probably a smart thing). We had to sign a waiver of course in the event we chopped a limb off (we didn't). And then we were taken back to our lanes. It was a Saturday night and most of the lanes were full, we had two towards the back. One of the employees walked everyone through how we should throw and gave a couple of pointers before everyone took their time to give it a shot. I personally hate that shit, if I am being a fool I would like the opportunity to hit the wall and learn for my self. The arcade looks fairly decent however my nephews that attempted to have some fun at the arcade said most of the games were out of order. Although I personally enjoyed myself as this was a new experience racing a go-kart I have to advise you should go to a different spot for this activity. We initially wanted to go to Arnold's Fun Center in Oaks, PA to race but they recently changed the hours and that is why we ended up at this location. Also, be careful if you pay in cash as I received the wrong change and they had to get the manager involved in how to break a $100 dollar bill.
