This place is sus...as in suspect. Your looking at decent wait times for your chance to race on a race track and the controls have attention warnings that mean you have to slow down....legit the system will override you and you will stall out. I personally hate that shit, if I am being a fool I would like the opportunity to hit the wall and learn for my self. Another mention that I have to detail is legit the bathroom was one of the worst kept bathrooms I have ever seen. It looks like a bathroom out of your high school but never attended to. The arcade looks fairly decent however my nephews that attempted to have some fun at the arcade said most of the games were out of order. Although I personally enjoyed myself as this was a new experience racing a go-kart I have to advise you should go to a different spot for this activity. We initially wanted to go to Arnold's Fun Center in Oaks, PA to race but they recently changed the hours and that is why we ended up at this location. Also, be careful if you pay in cash as I received the wrong change and they had to get the manager involved in how to break a $100 dollar bill. Fun Saturday night with friends. The carts and the tracks could definitely use some updates. They do have an online system which is a plus so you aren't stuck there waiting until it's your turn. I think It's better if you go with a lot of people so you can race each other. If not, other people will be apart of your race. The food options are CRAPPY. Definitely eat before you go. They have a couple of "arcade" games for kids but they are definitely out of date. The rock climbing wall was closed when I went. Not sure if it's a seasonal thing or not. There is a one membership fee when you sign up. Not really beneficial if you don't plan on going multiple times a year. Overall, this place needs some updates if it wants to keep people coming. A cool place to have something to do. I enjoy go karting and bumper cars; however, my experience here wasn't as exciting. There's really not that much to it in my opinion and in comparision to the experiences I've had at amusement parks. Maybe this is different and I'm just not used to this "type" of go karting. You get to do 14 laps (if adult) for $20. There are half/reduced prices on certain days/times. You have to pay an additional $6 for "license." It's about 10 or less minutes of driving.The go karts are faster than average. I felt that the speed was interesting but the laps seemed monotonous and less than exciting. They have a small mini golf area, arcade area and concession area. Also, there's conference and party rooms for business events and birthday parties. I think it's great for a business social. The bathrooms were old, outdated and felt unclean. There's small chairs and tables around the track and couches to sit on, but seemed a bit oddly placed. Cool place for family Funday or whatever floats your boat. It's huge and certainly offers something for everyone. They even have axe throwing which I will definitely check out next time. There is an arcade with a decent amount if games. As well as a ticket area for said arcade tickets. They also have a snack bar. We had just come from breakfast so wasn't hungry. Now for the best part... the karts. There are different sized karts available. The mini karts which are for around ages 3-6 (really depending on size and driving ability). The mini karts operate with hand brakes/clutches. Gas =green, brake = red. There is junior which depends on size, then the regular adult. The adult cars are fast, so just beware esp with kids. They have a rule in which these are obviously not bumper cars and it will not be tolerated. For the mini karts they said if they had to get the kids out 3 times then that terminates their race time. Understood for safety concerns. Overall super fun and cool place to check out. Didn't find it to be super expensive or anything. Would be cooler for a full track rather than the half track. Oh dear! I had done go kart before in Puerto Rico and it was fun!!! So I thought taking my niece for go karts should be fun. Apparently it was fun for her (16 yo) but it was a nerve racking event for me. It was sooooo scary because the raceway was fast and has constant turns! It's a huge place that has arcade and mini golf. While waiting for our turn we played the mini golf for free. It was sort of for kids because the whole 9 holes were somewhat the same level of difficulty. The pole at each is useless for writing cuz it's slanted so we can't put any paper on it. We used a Groupon for $34 for 2 for a 14 laps race on a Friday right after Thanksgiving. I'm glad I found that deal! The karts seemed to have speed and brake issue. I put my left foot on the pedal 100% but it didn't stop and hit the kart in front of me at the end of the race when we were lining up the karts to return. So for faint hearts like mine, this is some serious go karts! I'm too scared to do it again! Hahaha read more

This place is so fun!! It's clean and well-kept, and the staff are very friendly (specifically Jake, he's super nice!). It's cool that you can view your specs after you race to see how well you did compared to other drivers. They do a great job and I totally recommend for anyone looking for some fun on the weekend. I haven't experienced all that you can there, only gone for a few rides a few times, but they also offer axe throwing! Nice, clean facility with well-kept cars. My boys and I love racing on the two tracks and really like the times they connect them together to form the "monster track." Easy registration and good race packages. First time here was for my husband anniversary present. We got there early so no lines or waiting. It the interior is nice and big. While watching my husband race I thought about having a birthday party there for him. We bought the special first time package that allowed him 28 laps around the track. They have a snack stand with table and chairs. There is a $6 registration fee, but it is for the whole year and an be used at any location. This was a nice experience. WOW! ok, first let me say, its not cheap. So if you are looking for boardwalk go karting on the cheap. this is not it. But value for guys and girls who like to drive fast: good. We paid $40 + 6 (for registration, which is now good for all locations, including the new cinnaminson one, which is way closer to our house) we got 3 races for the price of 2. Introductory pricing? probably. follow their facebook. once you register, you are giving up your email address, so expect to get some stuff in the mail. Inside: very very clean and well lit. you can tell the spent a ton of money on buildout Nice comfy leather sofas. I suspect they are going to bring in some more video games and stuff to get more money out of your pocket. but seriously the rent on 100K sq ft? they need to get that money The Racing: they have jr karts for people 48 inches and up, and full size adult karts for people who are 56 inches and up. and for the shorties, they have foam boosters, so dont' worry of you are borderline little people. the karts are electric automatic. i guess CVT? but who needs to shift gears? Karts are comfy . they provide helmet socks, kind of like du rags. which are laundered, and should be returned after each race, and fresh ones are provided. Helmets, some guys were using their own motorcycle helmets, which is cool. You must wear closed toed shoes, they have helmets for people with normal sized skulls and bigheads up to xxxL. we brought 10 racers, and the first race, was too crowded because all 10 people went at one time. So, go with max 5 or 6 people per race. All the racing is based on best time per lap. So its not about passing or bumping off another person, but driving a proper line. you will spin out and stuff, if you dont slow down into the turns. Best tip for enjoying the racing. if you are too close to someone or in a pack, let them drive off, and create a buffer for yourself. once you are in the clear, then drive hard. Its better than messing around in a back, or not being able to pass someone who keeps taking the inside. and we had some collisions. my neck and sides are sore from a real hard crash. 14 or 15 lips per race, which is really really long. There is a leaderboard, that you can glance at while you are driving around the track, so you can gauge your time and stuff. and they give you a printout. with your best scores and lap times. they look like they are setting up some conference rooms and stuff in the back Defn a badass way to reward your hard working employees or have a serious birthday party for some teenagers. no food options yet, but theres tons to eat in the local area. read more

WHAT I ENDURE FOR MY KIDS! Rip off gimmick... They charge $6 yearly charge to be in their database. So basically every new member pays their payroll and expenses. $21 for a 12 minute race in addition to your fee, this equalled $72 for me for 12 minutes for 3 children. Very busy so us being walk ins had 11 races before us and the cashier tried almost talking me out of waiting. She was annoyed that I asked her questions. No concessions except vending machines. A dozen arcade games to bleed you more during your wait. Two tracks... small in respects to what they are promoting themselves as. Very disappointed (you can buy lift tickets at a mountain for this price and ski all day) One positive thing... some fun decor. read more

Good experience overall. But, the organization and service of the facility is lacking in my opinion. Check-in process was okay, however, there's no real guide to what sort packages you can get. Granted, I should have done my research beforehand, however, I believe this sort of information should be available upon check-in. We ended up doing 2 races for about $80 for two people total. With a Yelp discount it came down to $65, not bad, but I didn't feel like I got a good deal either. On a Saturday, I was surprised that we only had to wait about 15 minutes for our first race. The race was a lot of fun. However, they seemed to forget to put us in the system for our second race. We ended up waiting for over 2 hours for the next one. Why prepay for multiple races if you can't get in a timely fashion? Seems a little ridiculous to me. Would have given higher stars if price to service ratio was better. But, for the money that you pay, I believe the customer should have a better experience in knowing what times they are racing instead of just taking a guess and hoping they didn't forget about you. You should check out Speedway's racing leagues. I race in the weekly league racing. The league is fun and extremely competitive. Each week you get 2 qualifying races and 1 position race. You earn points each week which counts toward a playoff session for top 20 in points after two weeks. The position races are awesome because you get to race, bump, and pass other racers and fight to be the first to the checked flag, just like real racing. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience competitive racing for a relatively cheap price. read more

Finally came here with my wife to use the gift card we got for Christmas. Been excited to try this place for a long time. The check in process was simple and easy. Little confusing after that, however, as the signs says like "reservations" we didn't have. So I just waited anyway in that line, and the guy claimed he could help us, but seemed like I wasn't in the right spot. the first rider special for 37 dollars includes your membership, rental of helmet and head sock, As well as 2 races. Pretty decent deal. Anyway fast forward to our first race, it was fun at first until a member in the group we were placed into, was not driving well. The rider was slower and kept slamming on the brakes, and causing all riders to swerve fairly dangerously as well as almost hitting the rider. It lasted the entire race and the guy controlling the race seemed to not pay attention to it at all. It was frustrating, especially for my wife who was stuck behind the rider for the entire 14/15 laps. They specifically mention in the training that if a driver is slower or not comfortable, that they will use the passing signs. Not once did they use it. The first race was essentially a waste as most riders couldn't go at the speed the karts were intended. In effort to not be in the same situation I asked the desk if we could switch groups. I also mentioned that the controller seemed to be texting , hunched over most of the race, looking at some device. It literally looked like he was texting. The desk person looked up like I insulted his mother, and proceeded to tell me pretty sternly that it was the throttle control for the karts. Either way, he wasn't paying attention it seemed, and it caused myself and others to slam hard on their brakes due to a driver not handling the kart correctly. Also, there is a sign that we saw after the first race that said long hair needs to be tied. No one advised my wife of this before our first race. The second race was much better and they ensured our safety much better. They advised my wife about her hair being in a pony tail, the controller never seemed to look away from the race and allowed folks to pass frequently and used the signs effectively. They also have an arcade and mini golf. Personally from an adult perspective they were pretty weak. Few of the arcade games were out of order even. For kids, I assume those amenities are sufficient though. The atmosphere seemed dead kinda. The music selection wasn't great either. It was oldies music, which I don't mind, but when people are doing a more something high speed and exciting, they don't want to listen to Johnny cash. read more

Well the experience was absolutely horrible. We booked ahead so we could have a time to go and not wait...that wasn't even close to what ended up happening. First the online reservation doesn't allow you to distinguish adults and children. So when we arrived only 2 out of 6 of the party could race, which was whatever. We waited over an hour past the time we booked to even be called. When asked what the deal is, we got a lot of excuses but when you tell the customer that it will be just 15 more minutes and another 30 minutes goes by I have to say that is a major issue. Nobody seemed to know what was going on, nobody seemed to care to fix the problem, and everyone just seemed to point to someone else. Yes there was a birthday party but if the party is occurring during a time that you made available online to book, then perhaps you should block out that option due to a party. What was meant to be a fun time has absolutely been anything but that. What's the point of offering the online booking if it's not going to be honored in the first place. We were patient and we didn't complain but my goodness they could've done something to make the experience better. Refund would've been the least you could've done. read more

I frequent a lot of Karting facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area and I'm currently in Elkins Park for school. I was excited to find this place which is extremely close compared to LeHigh Valley GP. That said this place has been working out the kinks for quite a while. The format of racing is time trial only. You still aren't able to pick what track you can use and there's no way of knowing the schedule before hand. Tracks: I've finally driven both and can say that they're extremely narrow and don't compliment the karts. The surface is extremely slick and combined with the understeer prone karts and tight corners it just turns into a very loud experience. There's plenty of room in the viewer area to make the tracks that much wider. They have started to combine tracks but not as frequent as one would like. Karts: The karts are OK. They're electric and comparably heavy to their gas counterparts. These karts seem to be very rear heavy as turn-in has no bite at corner entry or mid. Late braking produces snap oversteer and drifting is practically nonexistent. Settings could fix this but it seems there is more work in maintenance than there is performance. Racing: It's time trial only. There's no form of arrive and drive Race or GP unless you do the League Nights. For the price its very expensive for the options provided. read more

We held my buddy's bachelor party here. The staff was so kind and helpful...First to start, Rob was so helpful getting us booked and going everything very clearly with times and everything. When we arrived to the venue we had our own host that set us up in a private room adjacent to the axe throwing area. We changed up the order of events a little and the staff was perfect in changing around some times. We had our own times to race as well as the axe throw area. The arcade had unlimited swipes. Our host was so kind to even help clean up the private room and assist with helping us pack things up. I could go on and on about how great this place treated us and how friendly the people were. I will also say-their attention to people's safety was very much felt-I appreciated that also. Thank you so much-I will be referring this venue to future batchelors and friends of mine. read more

We booked an event for our Son's 9th birthday party. He chose 8 kids and they had three heats to race. The kids just loved the whole thing. They were not overly concerned about who "won." The party room we had was very spacious and multiple tables. nice couches to lounge in near large screen TV's. They did not provide any food, just the racing and room. At the end of the three races, the children with the fastest times got medals for 1, 2 and 3. With children one concern is safety. I was impressed with the operation. They could stop any cart at any moment depending on crashes. That is important with a young crowd. By the end of the night, everyone children and adults were very pleased. Several parents were stating they were going to come back to the place. And at least one of the boys was already asking to come back for his birthday party in May. read more

I'm a huge fan of Karting, and this location seems to have a lot of potential, and I'm confident they will eventually work out the kinks. Right now, however, compared to the competition (lehigh valley grand prix and mid-atlantic grand prix), the prices are very high, the track is very slow (too few straight-aways) and too short. I question their decision to split the area into two small different tracks rather than just make one giant one, but even still there is a lot of wasted space that could be utilized by a better track configuration. The karts are plenty fast, but have some handling issues... they don't seem to want to turn. Perhaps a new alignment or something as simple as lowering front tire pressures would remedy this... I'll come back an write a better review later, as I'm sure over the next few months this organization will be changing things around a bit... but as of right now the best karting in the Philadelphia area is still way out in Wilmington and Lehigh Valley... read more

Speed Raceway is a fun little option for something different to do. As the name would suggest, the go kart area is the main attraction. It's quite large and looks like it accommodates kids and adults. The staff is very nice and didn't give my friend and I dirty looks when we walked in a half hour before closing time to squeeze in a quick air hockey game. Speed Raceway has a modest little arcade area featuring basketball, shooting games, skee ball, and two air hockey tables. The air hockey tables may need a little tune up, since the air flow was weak and the one end of the table was impossible to score on. But it's cool, because I won twice! read more

And the disrespectful guy up front said you need reservation which by the way nothing on the internet said we needed one. AND when we called and they mentioned nothing about needing one.
