My 10yr old wanted to play laser tag. Since I'm not from the area I had to do a search and what better place than yelp. Not many places in the South Philadephia area so up north we go. Pros: Located in strip mall and plenty of parking Decent waiting area for parents with TVs Very descent prices and specials Game room and party rooms Clean Appears well organized Cons: No snack bar but vending machines Overall doesn't seem like a bad place. Only one I could find in a 50mile radius so they should have a monopoly.

If you want laser tag -- this is the spot. Yes, they need to update the arcade area and even the way the lobby / waiting area looks because it's super outdated. Those are the only flaws on their end. It's a two floor space and it's big with three teams competing against each other. Red, Blue, & Yellow. I wish I was able to take pictures inside like I had intentions but once I got in, it was a war zone. Each team has a base, where you can destroy once and gain 2,000 points or you can stand on the base and get special perks like invincibility or rapid fire. They also have icons on the walls that look like hockey pucks (you could easily miss them unless you're intentionally looking for them) that you can destroy also for points up to 10 of them. The vests can get smelly, honestly, but you're going to be in there sweating too. Keep that in mind with what you come dressed in. Once you're moving around in there, for 15 minute rounds, you'll be hot. You can get shot in the chest, shoulders, back and gun -- each carrying a different point system. I love how when we went, we had kids up to peoples grandmas and EVERYONE had fun together. It's real easy to make friends and gain alliances. It's just a dope time and the price is amazing, I think. $20 for 3 fifteen minute rounds or $25 for an all day pass. I'll certainly be back. I gotta get better because I was in the bottom 5 my first two games and then I was in 12th place my third. Oh, and the staff is super friendly. It would be dope (I didn't check but I didn't see anything about it) if they had some good food or snacks for in between rounds, which is about 5-10 minutes. If you're looking for a fun place to play laser tag no matter your age or how many people you have, this is the place.

I came here often this year for the laser tag, which is super fun and is at a right price. It is great to go with a large group. So much fun! As for the location, it is clean and service was good.

I stopped by here on Friday night with a group of 5 adults. We decided to relive our youth with a bit of laser tag. We choose the 11:15 time a lot for longer game play. Instead of the usual 15 minutes you get a full 45 minutes. 45 minutes seems like a long time but when you are caught up in dodging lasers and blasting people the time flies. The "arena" was fairly large just large enough for me to get lost a couple of times. My laser gun gave me a bit of trouble and I couldn't find staff to help me. In the process of looking I got shot up quite a few times. The crowd was mixed-there were a few families, some teenagers and a few adults. Some were there to have a good time and others were playing as if their life depended on it. Overall I had a good time and would consider going again.

Ultra zone is a great place to bring the kids on a rainy day or if you just want to get out of the house. We stopped here this past Saturday after a family party. They were pretty busy but we got in right away. The facility is fairly large and it seems to be the go to spot for laser tag. The place could use some updating and the games are older. Their prices are fair for what you get out of it. Overall it was a positive experience though and we would return. Solid 3 stars.

My player card scoring me 4the place....Beginners luck I guess

Enjoyable laser tag. A little on the expensive side - something like $7 for 15 minutes.

The shop is located among a small strip of several, and the only major weakness of Toy Cantina is the limited parking situation. Big thing that stood out immediately was the owner is engaging and talkative. He greeted me upon entering, which is something some shops don't do. Everything is organized and priced, which makes this shop stand out even more, and it's clean. Toy Cantina is split up into three rooms. First room has the majority of the toys and collectables, with a good selection of new and used items. Shop is stacked from floor to ceiling. Higher value items are located behind glass but there's plenty of help if you wish to investigate them. Second room has Pop Vinyl's and other collectables, but doesn't overwhelm you with too many Pop's. Several playsets/bases were available, which are sometimes rarer due to size. They also have loose figures for sale. The back room is a free play retro arcade with some older pinball machines and various small stand-up arcade cabinets. A donation box is available but one is not required to play. I made sure throw in a few bucks as what they are doing is really cool. Toy Cantina is doing a lot right, with its organization and pricing being standout. There are no mysteries here. Toy Cantina has a lot to offer and is in contention for best collectable/toy shop in the Philadelphia metro area.

Lanes were not cheap and are very limited because more than 75% of the lanes are being repaired. They were even working on them on a Saturday night which was a little distractive while trying to focus on getting your ball down the lane. The lanes were unique and that the pins odd strings on them and that's how the pins were reset. My least favorite thing about the bowling alley was that when the balls were returned, they came at a high speed and if your fingers were in the wrong place or you were trying to get a ball at that time, you could really injure your fingers getting them pinched between balls. I included a video of how quickly the ball sneaks up and how concerning this would be especially if a child was playing. During our game, we ordered food and non alcoholic drink drinks from the bar. This is a BYOB so you can bring whatever you want to drink and they do have some mixers that you can buy if you don't bring your own. The food didn't get great reviews. There was one bartender and unfortunately she wasn't there about 50% of the time. There were often periods of time no one was behind the bar for periods long enough that I had to return for my turn to bowl. The video games are expensive. I bought a $20 card and was shocked to see how quickly it ran through. I personally didn't opt for the glow mini mini golf but that did look fun. My favorite activity was the bumper cars. Be warned, some of them do fully invert! I feel like Dave and Busters at Franklin Mills provides a better bowling arcade interaction and has better food and bar services. This place really felt designed to cater to children rather than adults and children. I didn't have a bad time but I would probably not return to this location.
