I grew up in the 80's and some of the arcade games to emerge from that golden age have never lost their appeal, they were so artfully made. When it came time to cast away the Arcade1Up emulation cabinets and invest in a real full-sized cabinet, I had the good sense to go to TNT Amusements in Southampton PA. I've followed Todd's YouTube antics for years, enough to know that he probably knows more about these old machines than anyone alive today. I wanted a Williams Multigame cab and Todd's crew built me this beauty with a JROK logic board and genuine Wico sticks all rolled into a restored Robotron 2084 cabinet, replete with line filters to protect it from dirty power surges, and in just a few weeks' time. Soon it was at my door, and 3 months later I am still in love with it. Absolutely the best thing ever. When they stumble upon a Tempest ready to restore, I don't have to think twice. My uncle in-law purchased two arcade machines from TNT years ago. To their credit, they have been great with coming out to my uncle's place to maintain and/or repair them when necessary. Recently the TV tube on his multicade went out and Todd recommended we just replace it with an LCD screen; less messy internals and no crummy old tubes! Sounded good to my uncle, so he went ahead and had it done. I was curious about how much something like that would run and Todd quoted me $200 for labor and $195 for the LCD screen. Todd even went as far as to squeeze in the time with my uncle, putting him before other clients that day. Given all of the above, I was disappointed when I looked at TNT's handiwork. The screen seemed a bit small for the machine and it looked like the original bezel had been left on and covered with black electrical tape. Following Todd's own guidelines (#7 to be specific) I listened to my gut, which said something was amiss. I opened up the back of the machine and found that the new monitor had been mounted to a piece of particle board which was secured by two wood screws which had been drilled in at strange 45 degree angles, through the board and into the siding of the machine. Upon further inspection I identified the monitor as an old Dell Ultrasharp 1907FP, at which point $195 seemed pretty steep, considering these were new back in 2006. Feeling a little miffed, I emailed Todd for some clarification about the cost of the new monitor. I said that it didn't look like a $195 monitor. Considering the machine was already VGA compatible after a previous upgrade, the only parts added were the LCD monitor, so the price seemed wrong. I asked if we could return it for a refund of the $195. Todd said we could return it all (monitor, cables, mounting board) for $100 back. I would have to say my experience says come here to play, but not to buy. Update: Todd maintains that shoddy workmanship and making an easy buck off a vulnerable old man is ethical practice. Enough said. I waited to post my review because I wanted to see if there would be any redeeming followup to this story. Well, there wasn't. Now we're at one star. When the displays on my vintage pinball machine went crazy I called Tod. He didn't say: "Bring it in and we'll take a look at it" or " I'll send a service guy out next week" or "Sounds like it needs new displays, that will be expensive." No, no, not the BS that they try to pass off as arcades today, where it's just glorified gambling machines and LCD versions of iPhone games for a buck a pop. I'm talking real arcades, where a fistful of quarters could keep you entertained among the flickering lights and sharp clacks of the flipper for the better part of the night. Step into TNT, and you're right back there. It's the real deal, minus the quarters, as all the machines are set to free play. Here's what you do, if you're around my age and have other nerds as your friends. Call up TNT and book a party for a Thursday night. You don't need a reason, just do it. Then put out the word to your pals that you're having a retro arcade party. Tell 'em for ten bucks a head, they can relive the glory of their youth mashing buttons to battle bad guys or hitting the ramp shot multiple times, complete with a break for pizza and a vintage cartoon in the middle. Tell 'em to bring the kids, as they'll love it too. I had 30 people at my most recent get-together there and everyone had a blast. Our delightful party hostess took care of serving the pizza, setting out snacks, and cleaning up. All I had to do was enjoy the games, and bask in the accolades of my friends who thanked me for organizing it. I know TNT's main business is actually selling arcade games, but honestly, just having a random get-together there is one of the best kept secrets in Philadelphia. It's the closest thing to a time machine your nerdy thirty and forty-something friends will find. read more

We had a pinball party at TNT amusements for our son's 8th birthday celebration and all the kids and adults in attendance had a spectacular time. It was great to see kids playing classic games, like asteroids deluxe, Ms Pac-Man and Galaga instead of on their tablets. My husband has been a gamer his whole life and he kept raving that he never saw a nicer asteroids deluxe. Another year, another great party. I had been looking for a reason to hold another party at TNT - and when my husbands bday rolled around, I knew this was going to be the place. Booking was so easy, adding the extra hour was worth it. You cannot beat the price, being able to bring in your own food to help keep the cost down, and friendly service you receive during your event. To my pleasant surprise, the hostess remembered us from our first party we had there - that was so nice! My party of 40 adults and 2 children had a blast, as always the machines were in great working order, the DDR machine a major hit as always, pin ball, car racing games, bowling game - everyone had such a great time. The hostess kept our food organized, tables cleared, soft drinks & water in order.....I didn't have to lift a finger after getting the food inside, it was so nice to be able to just relax. I have a Demolition Man pinball machine and it had a few issues. Curt came by fixed the flipper, fixed the shooter lane, replaced the leaky battery, and swapped out my eproms for the adult version... THEN cleaned up the Millipede machine I had bought from TNT 2 years ago...all machines are back in great working condition...well worth the visit... Wish you worked on EM machines... read more

So I now have a pinball and a simpsons on top of my other Neo Geo the back of my house is looking like a hotels arcade room. With is said the Pinball TnT sold me has had a handful of problems since it has been delivered to my house but this is to be expected with a 20+ year old pinball machine. Tnt in response to all the problems has been to come and fix it every time no questions asked free of charge and now it is running very well. On top of all of that they sold me a used Jama cabinet(just the cabinet) super cheap and delivered it for free because they were coming out to fix the pinball anyway. I cant wait till I can afford another pinball from them. read more

My husband and I purchased a Top Dawg shuffle bowl alley from Todd at TNT over 10 years ago in April 2007. Not only did they initially do an excellent job reconditioning this game, we've only had 2 small problems since our initial purchase. The first problem was several months after our purchase. We immediately contacted TNT and had no problem reaching Todd who assisted us over the phone and guided us to the quick fix that resolved the problem and never occured again!. Now, after 10 years, we experienced our 2nd problem which wound up just being a simple change of the lithium battery - which lasted 5 years longer than even expected. Before contacting TNT, we really thought our game was done for... and really didn't expect any assistance from TNT since our game was purchased over 10 years ago. Well, we were more than pleasantly surprised... Not only did Todd answer the phone, he once again guided us over the phone in fixing our much loved game. He also reminded us of our guarantee that they stand behind all their games purchased from there for the life of the game and that we always have the option of a trade or buy back guaranteeing 50% of purchase price. I have a 1986 Williams strike zone shuffle bowling alley game that was in bad shape, we picked it up from a garage sale and had been sitting there for a few years and they had got it from a bar that was closing down so it was used and abused and really needed some major repairs and TLC to bring back to life, I have been following TNT amusement on You Tube and had been to there place a few times and really liked what i saw with there finished work on machines they rebuilt. I made arraignments with Todd Tuckey the owner of TNT to have my game refurbished to like new. when i dropped it off we talked about what it would it cost and around how long it would it take to get the game finished and he would keep me updated on how things were going. It was around a month to get it finished because they had a lot of games ahead of me getting refurbished and Todd told me it would be a week or 2 before they could start my game which i was fine with that, when finished Todd called me to set up a drop off day and time to my house and sent me the final bill which was less than i was expecting which was great, also he sent me a video of the finished product and myself and my wife were absolutely blown away at how good it look. When the game got to the house and they guys from TNT put it were we wanted it and got it set up and running they gave us a run down of all the things that were repaired or replaced and showed us all the guts of the game which were in need of major repair and rewiring before they got to work on it, after they were done with the repairs I could not believe how pretty and neat the wiring was along with everything else it was wonderful looking. It was nice to have them go over the game and tells us how everything works because we did not get to play it before when we got it from the garage sale because it needed repair. All I can say from the beginning to the end, too having the game back in my house, it was absolutely a wonderful process, Todd and his employee's are really nice and very friendly and do a professional job rebuilding your machine and it will look like new, so if you are thinking of getting your machine rebuilt you would need to call TNT amusement and you will be very very happy when they are done and you get your machine back. TNT will always be my first call when I need any repairs on other games I buy in the future. read more

I haven't purchased from TNT (yet?) but have visited a couple times to check out the place as a possible party location. I was told that the owner Todd "Tunney" Tuckey was a nice guy and good to deal with. Upon entering the "arcade" I was greeted with several machines I hadn't seen since the 80s/90s. Unfortunately several machines were in bad shape and even worse than you would have encountered on location back in the day. A frightening woman was also lurking about. She seemed to be an employee of some sort since she asked how I was doing but wandered off without asking if I needed help. Overall I'm mixed about this place. I don't think I would hold a party here but maybe purchased games are given more attention? read more

I purchased Addams Family pinball from TNT over a year ago and am very pleased. The machine has been perfect, and Todd and his associates are always a pleasure to deal with. The machine was in perfect condition, and with very heavy use (4 children) have not had any issues other than one small thing that that was resolved on the phone in a few minutes. They always answer their phone promptly, and frequently Todd himself will answer. They stand behind the machines they sell and I'm very impressed. In addition to the machine I purchased from them, I've also used them to service a machine I had purchased elsewhere (purchased elsewhere only because I couldn't find it locally after 2 years of searching). Even though it wasn't their machine they did excellent work - Curt is incredibly knowledgable and I learned a lot just watching him work on the machine. Was most recently here for a kids birthday party (we were guests at the party) and what a cool place to host a kids birthday party!! For two hours, we got to play all the games we wanted (all on free play) plus eat pizza and cake. You'll find pinball machines, old arcade games, skee-ball, simulation games, and a dancing game. There are quite a few game machines packed into a bunch of little rooms, but since you have the whole place to yourself for the party, it was never crowded. You start off by playing the games, and then you take a break for pizza followed by more game play, then cake, and finally more game play. While you are eating, they have a movie screen dropdown from the ceiling and they show a little cartoon from an old film projector. The staff was simply wonderful and they even let us check out the workshop and warehouse where folks were busy repairing and refurbishing machines. A few of the machines were not working, but all in all, a great time was had by both of my boys (4 and 9 years old). And even this old boy had fun playing the games! read more

We absolutely LOVE this place! We've been to many birthday parties here. Yesterday we had our son's 10th birthday here and it was perfect! Angie was our hostess and does such a phenomenal job. She is always so sweet and keeps things running smoothly. The kids had a great time playing all the games and the retro cartoons played on the projector during cake time is a favorite! We had the entire showroom to ourselves for the party, with all the games unlocked. No tokens, no tickets, no time wasters. Also- good luck if you need bulbs or anything because I was told they were closed when they weren't then given a load of indifferent attitude. Like they're doing the customer a favor! A classless act. I had my Embryon pinball refurbished by TNT and not only did it take two and a half months more than was originally stated, my sound board was damaged. I returned it to TNT and they supposedly fixed it, however, it made the same loud hissing background sound. He (Toddy Tuckey) then expects me to pay to have it fixed when he (or his workers) were then one who hacked it. Now he does not return e mails and threw up his hands stating "it's beyond us at this point" It was working perfect until he supposedly re-conditioned it. Poor business practice at best and real low life move to not take responsibility. I would not give him a red cent after this and will warn all those who come across my path to avoid this loud boisterous crook. read more

First off...The best infomercials EVER!!! I was a teenager when they first came out. Cracked up every time watching them. Great job guys/gals. Years later my brother threw a surprise party for me and it was unreal. Pizza and games!! (p.s. It was for my 26th birthday!!!) Employees were great. Games were functioning perfectly. After watching TNTs great YouTube videos for a year or so I decided to purchase my own arcade game. First I purchased a Neo Geo big red cab. I was very pleased but after a week or so noticed a problem with the games resetting. I called TNT and they helped me fix the problem over the phone. After a year I purchased a Baby Pac man. It got a royal makeover. Very clean and the LEDs make it look incredible. Have had it for two years now and like the Neo Geo, still running great. I would def purchase more games from TNT if only I had the room. Need a bigger house. read more
