5 stars isn't enough!…read more Hiring GBH Aesthetics as my day-of coordinator was by far the best investment I made for my wedding. From start to finish, they were calm, organized, professional, and genuinely kind--exactly what every bride needs on her big day. They also created our sweetheart table and centerpieces, and everything looked beautiful. The décor was exactly what I envisioned--elegant, simple, and just the right size and style. Even my mom couldn't stop talking about how perfect it all was! What really stood out, though, was how smoothly everything ran. When delays came up at the church, they kept things on time and stress-free. Multiple vendors--even the photographer!--told me how much they loved working with GBH. I truly don't think the day would've gone as beautifully as it did without them. I'll be recommending GBH Aesthetics to every couple I know (especially for weddings coming up in November and March)! Thank you so much for making our day unforgettable. once I have photos back from people and the photographer I will post the fabulous job GBH did with the centerpieces and sweetheart table, but even better than that was the peace of mind I had during the day. being a planner myself I wasn't sure if I needed a coordinator but it's now my #1 recommendation to any bride! it was so nice to allow my bridal party and family to enjoy the wedding instead of having them work it and that is something I will forever treasure in my heart.

Let me preface this review by saying if you are thinking about getting a wedding planner in the…read moreNJ/NY area, definitely reach out to Lindsay! She is absolutely amazing and will help craft an event that is better than you could have imagined. She has been such a pleasure to work with, and would highly recommend her. Let me back up and give you some context. My husband and I knew we wanted to get married in NJ on my uncle's farm. The only problems with that were that we lived across the country in Portland and we didn't have a building to have the ceremony in. My husband and I also both worked full time jobs. We began to realize that we'd have some time constraints on our hands and hiring a wedding planner might not be a bad idea. After reading some reviews online, I reached out to a few planners and set up a couple of introductory calls to hear about their services and experiences. When I started talking to different wedding planner, every one of them started off by telling me about all of their packages and what was included in their service. Lindsay was different. Unlike the other planners who immediately went into their sales pitch, Lindsay wanted to hear our story and what we wanted in our wedding. It seemed like she genuinely wanted to help us create our special day, not just give us a cookie cutter list of services. This was such a refreshing and personal way of approaching wedding planning. I knew from that minute that I wanted her to plan my wedding. Lindsay of Simply Sunshine Events is an amazing events planner, coordinator, and event designer. She covers a wide array of events, from wedding and baby showers to corporate events and fundraisers. And every single review that I read about the company was simply glowing. Not only is she professional, candid, creative, and helpful, but she just seemed like someone who I would work well with. Ironically we both grew up super close to one another, so we instantly clicked on that part of our past. Even without that connection, I knew that we would get along well. We decided to get help on both the design portion as well as the planning portion of our wedding. I'm really not the most creative person in the world and I felt like we needed help putting together the overall vision. We were presented with a personalize design brief with a couple of different options. Once we decided on a vision, Lindsay was able to pick out vendor options that she thought would work well with the venue and overall theme. It was so much less overwhelming being able to choose out of a couple of highly recommended vendors than to have to choose from everyone in the area. Which leads me to another important thing that Lindsay brought to the table: experience. Not only has she worked with all of these people before, but she has seen all the ins and outs of doing a wedding at a "home" venue. Initially, we thought it would be more cost efficient and easier to have an at home wedding. However, it turns out that this makes the whole planning process much more difficult since we had to not only style a wedding but actually create a venue. Lindsay instantly knew all the things we needed to look into - a tent, flooring, a generator, bathrooms, the list goes on and on. She provided us super detail specific timelines of when we should do each task, as well as supplemental tools to assist us along the way. With Lindsay's help, my husband and I made a lot of the big decisions pretty early on in the planning process. I completely trusted Lindsay's opinion on vendors and that really worked out well for us. We had amazing food and cake tastings, had a florist meeting on site that was spot on, and have a Chaplain who gave me chills when going through ceremony options. The best part about the whole deal is that Lindsay can sometimes get her clients special discounts with vendors that she works with regularly, and passes those deals directly to her clients. Some planners will take those discounts as profits, but Lindsay has an awesome system where she charged us one flat fee for everything listed in her contract and helped us save money elsewhere. She was a huge help in constructing our budget and sticking to it. Overall, I'm so glad we worked with Simply Sunshine for both the planning and design part of our wedding. The wedding went off beautifully and I was so glad I could just relax and be fully present on the wedding day. Even though there was threat of rain all the way up to the actual day, we were able to execute a plan B (extra tents for the ceremony and cocktail hour) that most people had no idea was actually not what we originally intended. I was so thankful to have such an amazing team of vendors backing me up through the preparation and actual day, even when we threw curve balls at them. Simply Sunshine Events has made this whole planning process less stressful than I was initially expecting, and made our wedding day more amazing than I ever could have hoped for.

Still, we made the decision to bring in an expert to elevate our ideas and bring them to life the right way. After attending a wedding expo, we felt overwhelmed. We interviewed several planners. From our first meeting, Stacey removed every fear we had. She listened carefully. She understood our vision. She gave us structure, direction, and confidence from day one. For a full year, Stacey and her team guided us through every step. She managed everything. From our stationery to the napkins. From the overall theme to the décor with the florist. She coordinated vendors, negotiated contracts, and kept every moving part aligned. Everything was handled in a timely fashion. Nothing was rushed. Nothing was late. Every detail landed exactly when it needed to. She saved us money. She saved us time. She eliminated stress. I am someone who likes control. It was hard for me to hand the reins over to someone else. But it was extremely liberating to watch an experienced professional take charge. I stopped worrying about logistics. I started enjoying the process. That shift changed everything for us. Our wedding was one week after Christmas. While most people were still in holiday mode, Stacey was in constant communication with vendors. She stayed ahead of issues we did not even know existed. She protected the timeline and kept everything moving. During wedding week, Stacey and her team went above and beyond. They showed up early. They followed through. They anticipated needs before anyone had to ask. On the wedding day, everything ran like a Swiss watch. The timing was precise. The transitions were seamless. We were able to stay present and enjoy every moment because Stacey was executing behind the scenes. We feel blessed to have had Stacey guide us through this journey. She became more than our planner. She became a true friend, and she will remain one. If you are feeling overwhelmed like we once did, trust Stacey. She has the experience, the network, and the leadership to deliver at the highest level. We wish Stacey and her team nothing but continued success. Love, Melissa & Duff

Very disappointed with lack of communication, lack of details and professionalism…read more I attempted to rate this company in 2021, but Stacy deleted it, so hopefully this review will stick. We wasted thousands of dollars hiring Stacy. At first she was attentive towards my daughter, but as time went by she lost interest. The one time we really needed help with her dress, and she didn't return my call. In fact as the MOB she never acknowledged me the day of the wedding except when I asked to move the cards to a safer spot at reception in which she gave me an attitude. Don't expect her to be at the venue the morning of when the bride shows up or stay until the end. She shows up later to take a picture of rings etc with some fake flowers. ( not my daughters). Also, don't bother using the paper company next door. Little black dress. Hugh rip off. I sat at a table next to the owner, who never looked at me never mind acknowledge the person filling her bank account. Bottom line my daughter could have done all the planning herself. The planner at your venue is all you need. Don't waste your money .

And after we had our wedding, our guest did nothing but rave about how fun, unique and perfect the reception was. But just having a reception at RTM is not what I'd recommend it. It was so much more. It was having the incredible variety of foods - we had cheesesteaks, DiNic's roast pork, Chinese food, a salad bar, poutine and corn dogs, grilled cheese from Meltkraft, the list goes on. It was having a historic and unique setting that was transformed into a beautiful evening even with string lights, candles, table clothes, decorations and provided an ambiance it'd be impossible to replicate anywhere else. It was the servers who attended to our guests every need, kept the party going, the room clean and the people happy. It was every little touch that the planning team executed perfectly for us, that all happened without us realizing it, without any reminders or questions. The planning team at All About Events were the true heroes of the night - and in fact, the whole planning process. We met with them about 15 months before our wedding, and Christina, Stevie and Liam made sure that everything was easy, fun and exciting. Christina's emails to us were always clear and thorough, addressing every little question I had asked, and pointing out tiny things I never would have thought of. Stevie's communication with our vendors was so appreciated, including our Mummers and DJ! And every time we met with them, the meetings were exciting, joyful. Their personalities and kindness and caring for us and our events just SHONE. We could not recommend RTM and AAE more. They are a truly wonderful team, and a gem in the Philadelphia wedding scene. I hope that we get to go to another event at the market soon, and we will certainly keep them in mind for our 10th anniversary vow renewal!!!!

This historic location was a rest and play stop for literary and theater New Yorkers in the 20s and 30s and probably beyond -- check out the famous signatures and notes in the albums in the main living room. The owners keep a handful of rescued farm animals (pot-bellied pigs, mini ponies, goats), and it is clear they are well cared for. It is a busy place for big wedding events now, and so we like to stay during the week. It is very relaxing to walk around the grounds. We saw a giant heron in the pond and deer strolling. There are so many nice places to sit outside with a bottle of wine and a book or snacks. Rooms are very unique and comfortable. You have a lot of different personalities to choose from: lofts, cabins, barn spaces, etc. Many have jacuzzis which can provide your evening entertainment, lol. We have not eaten in the restaurant because our top restaurant on earth is very close by, but when it was closed, Josh gave us great recommendations. And he made a lovely tofu scramble for breakfast as a special request. One sweet touch: despite checking the room, we left without my spouse's expensive phone charger. Housekeeping found it and ran after us before we could drive off without it. She did not have to do that. Always tip your housekeeping staff. The extended Covid months have been very hard on inns, restaurants, and event spaces, and it must be stressful for them as things come back to life when so many events have been postponed. The Barley Sheaf is very serious about pandemic precautions, so masks are in full effect, and they'll walk you to your socially-distanced table in a beautiful, outdoor gardening setting. The inn itself is an architectural delight, as well, so you are surrounded by beauty on all sides. Service was pleasant and forthcoming. I wouldn't say that this is the finest level of dining, of course, you're not expecting EMP in the middle of Bucks County, but this is a good attempt, and people are pleasant and quite dignified. The guests were all well attired and the crowd is polite and kind. Food is of the adventurous character, which I enjoy. A lot of different flavor combinations (they like to do salé and sucré), beautiful plating, interesting textures, and good cooking techniques. My favorites were the octopus appetizer (so buttery soft and tender, which is a rarity) and the pheasant special, which was a pleasant and apropos surprise in this outdoor, country setting. Finally, this is a BYOB restaurant with perfectly selected wine glasses, fine silverware, and other special touches such as a freshly starched linens, etc. which elevate the dining experience.
