My 2 kids (11 & 13) have dragged me here twice and we had a great time - besides wanting to kill each other many times in frustration. With 1 adult and 2 kids we were able to solve both rooms. They are already planning for me to take them back one more time to solve the last, and hardest room - who will survive and what will be left of them? Had a blast with coworkers breaking out of "Quarantine"! Ironically, we were all chemists who work on vaccine development during the week, but we picked the room based off the time it was offered more than the theme. It ended up working out for us since the puzzles in this one tend to be more mathematically focused (don't worry, you don't need a PhD to figure them out)! Our guide, Miki, was energetic, professional and helpful - she made the experience super smooth and fun! All games are private parties during COVID, which was great. Everybody got to contribute to breaking some codes/discovering some clues and we made it out with time to spare! Our team of 5 adults was a good number to have ample space to avoid stumbling over each other and enough brainpower without too many cooks in the kitchen! The room was fun with a good mix of number, letter, and directional locks with other types of puzzles. It wasn't nearly among the most challenging I've done, but was still certainly enjoyable! read more

I almost missed it when driving, but it's nondescript exterior is deceiving. My family did the Big Score room and we had a blast! The clues given were very helpful and the riddles and puzzles were so much fun! The game master was friendly and informative. We escaped with almost 6 minutes to spare, definitely would go again. They also offered a $5 per person discount next time we play, which is a great discount. The ticket price of $23 was the most reasonably priced escape room I've ever been to. A must see! read more

We checked this out with siblings recently, and there were some other folks who had signed up to do the room (Diamond Heist) with us. The staff was very friendly and helpful with explaining how everything works, what to do and what not to do, and sharing some tips. It's nice that they're pretty flexible with the way they give clues. Some places limit your clues, and we could choose to do it that way, but they would also give more clues if needed. We ended up not needing too many clues to get through, and it was a fun time. My brother-in-law had not done any escape room before and enjoyed the experience. I'd be interested in checking out the other rooms, especially since it's so close by! read more

Great Experience! Picked this escape room because it seemed to be tween and adult-friendly. Easy to find and there is parking. I took my daughter here for her birthday with three friends. We arrived a little early and were given the rules and started our escape right away; we did the Wizard room aka Harry Potter. To be honest, this was way more intricate than I thought it would be; we had three rooms to navigate in total. It was soooooo cool how many of the items moved around, illuminate, and the sound effects; they definitely take a lot of pride in the rooms they create. Our Wizard did come out from the black curtain to assist us (he probably felt bad for us, we would have never made it out without calling 911). It was an eronmous help that one of my gals was a huge Harry Potter fan, so many clues she understood that the rest of us did not. After escaping with help.. the girls took pictures with the Harry Potter props. We really enjoyed this and would love to try another room. read more

Phenomenal! Absolutely blown away by the incredible attention to detail in the puzzles and the fun little gadgets to crack the codes. Apparently this Project Escape is independently owned, instead of being part of a chain franchise, and I honestly think that added so much more to the experience. For one thing, the owner who explained the rules and provided the scenario for us was extremely sweet and invested in our experience. After we managed to get out, we were all super animated in our exhilaration and she was happy to engage in a lively chat about it, and even share anecdotes about her experiences running the establishment. So just to backtrack a little, 10 of us came to do the diamond heist; one of us was a veteran, a few were second/third time goers, but it was the first time for the majority of us. And despite the crazy mayhem that ensued the minute we started, we somehow managed to steal the diamond and get out in only forty-two minutes, which was close to the record time! I think one thing that really worked for us was our high level of energy; boy, it was intoxicating. The few people who had experienced this type of event before said that this was actually better; it just had a lot of layers and components to the whole puzzle! Kind of addicted now but I'm not actually sure if other locations will live up to this experience. Definitely get a group together and go support this independent business! That was until I went to Philly for Thanksgiving to visit my brother when to my surprise, him and his friends had planned a day to go to Project Escape. Upon arrival we were greeted by Rick and Kim who were in charge of Project Escape. They explained the rules and made sure everyone had a clear idea of what the game was, and how it had to be played. Now, I can't speak about what goes on in the game, but just know, we all made it out super excited, and with 11 minutes to spare. Really outstanding production quality here, but our experience lacked a little. As a group, we agreed that we felt super-rushed. We escaped in 41 min. We were paired with some super-smart strangers (the words "nuclear engineer" were mentioned), so we missed out on a lot of the discoveries in this clever Diamond Heist room. Hints were given pretty freely, too, so I'd have to say we didn't struggle nearly enough to feel we really accomplished something amazing by capturing the diamond. We'd come back again, of course, to try the Harry Potter room or the soon-to-be Nuclear Meltdown, but would make sure we book the room for ourselves only and alert the gamemaster not to help us out until we're really asking for it. But again - it's hard to complain about such a quality room. It's very well done with a nice mix of technology to the puzzles. read more

Some friends and I decided to get in on the escape room craze so we checked out Project Escape. It's inside a very unassuming building next door to a doctor's office, I believe. Once inside, we were greeted quickly. We were a little early so we sat in the waiting room for a bit playing with the board games they provided. Very fun, made the time go by fast. The room itself was very challenging but we did it in under the hour! The puzzles definitely make your team work together and rely on each each other. Afterwards, we got to take our group picture. Just successfully escaped the Wizard's Secrets room from Project Escape and I am totally WOWed by the level of details, efforts and thoughts the owners put into the room!! As a person who have done more than 20 escape rooms in different cities, I have to say, their room can compare with one of my favorite ones I did in Toronto (Yes, Toronto is definitely the most well-known for their high quality escape rooms due to their space and high market demand). Wizard's Secrets is based on Harry Potter and we were supposed to be escape from the dungeon/prison. Do not want to spoil too many details, but I am very amazed as well as thankful for the atmospherethe the owner wants to provide to the participants. I can tell they invest quite lots of money and tried their best to let people havd fun! When you are inside the rooms, you feel yourself in Harry Potter movie and you are one of the wizards ;) What is more important is ... the puzzles are just right and have good flow in them. Some escape rooms I went elsewhere have super weird puzzles and can be out of nowhere. This place does puzzles right!! After the game, I talked to the owners and learned that two of them did everything for those rooms. One for puzzles and one focused on tech! I am so amazed by their great minds and awesome job! Went for the Diamond Heist room on my husband's birthday. Our group of 6 was joined by a group of 4 friends so we had the maximum number of people for the experience. Other than my husband and myself, no one in our group had done another escape the room before. Without giving anything away, I'd just say that this way probably my favorite escape experience so far. The owners really put a lot of thoughts into the design of the room. The clues made sense and follow a logical progression. I also liked that you're not just stuck in one room for the entire time and it didn't feel crowded even with 10 people in there. In the end, our group escaped and everyone said they had lots of fun. We're definitely going to return in the future for the Harry Potter room =) read more

I would love to give this place five stars however with all the issues in our Escape Room I just can't. We did the Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban room for my best friends birthday. It was our group of four with another group of four. No problems there. The host however couldn't read the script correctly to give us a back story and it was very poorly read, but that's not the real issues. We did the room - "escaped" with 1:16 left however the exit door was already left open from the last group and more then half of the puzzles in the room were not even placed back or undone before we got to them which caused so many issues and so much confusion. Once we "escaped" we spoke to the host again outside the room and she even said they didn't put half the stuff back or place back puzzles where they belonged and didn't even ask us if we wanted to do our escape picture until I BROUGHT IT UP? SO MUCH FUN! My boyfriend and I recently did the Diamond Heist room on a random weekday night (and surprisingly escaped!). We have done several other escape rooms (both in a group, alone, with friends, and with strangers) and this was by far our favorite. We were certainly challenged in the room and there were many tricks and contraptions to keep us thinking. The storyline was consistent throughout and the details were incredible, as well. Not to mention, the owners were so friendly and truly care about their business (they even spent time at the end to ask for our thoughts and feedback.) Hands down the best rooms in the area. My group has done 11 rooms in the past year (pretty much 1 a month) at five different locations, and Project Escape really understands how to have the ambiance and the puzzles to make the entire experience fantastic. We've done both the Diamond Heist and the Wizards Secret, and both rooms blew me away. I wish they had more rooms open for me to do now. For the amount of space that they have in the small office building I was amazed at how transported I was the moment I stepped into each of the rooms. The attention to detail and atmosphere in both of the rooms is incredible. The sophistication of the puzzles is wonderful. You really need to rely on teamwork and communication throughout the process in order to escape. I loved every minute of both rooms. I wish I could do them again. read more

DO IT!!! Project Escape is the third escape room that I've done, and of the three it is far above in a league of its own. 3 friends and I did their Millennium Diamond Heist room, and you could really tell that it was designed and put together by people who had an eye and a passion for it. It was a great experience on multiple levels, which I'll break down here: Puzzle Difficulty: This was definitely the most challenging of the three rooms I've done. However, I didn't feel that any of the puzzles were unfair. Though we got stuck for a bit on some, they all made sense in hindsight. Also, while prior escape the room experiences I've done only really contained items that were related to the puzzles, Project Escape was filled with what might be in a "normal" (though not cluttered) room. Some of it was important, some of it wasn't, and it took some stopping, sorting, and thinking, and eventual revisiting in order to determine what was key to our mystery and what was not. As a result, I felt much more like a detective rather than a rat in a maze when compared to other escape rooms. Some of the puzzles were really unique and/or clever as well, and our group had multiple "That's so cool!" moments. Theme: Before entering the room, we were briefed on our role as master thieves breaking into a crime lord's house in order to steal the world's biggest diamond... and the experience really fit the story! We weren't just locked in a room and told to escape, it really felt like everything fit with the story we were acting within. Of course, a real life crime lord wouldn't hide his diamond behind a series of puzzles and clues, but IF HE DID it would look very much like what Project Escape has put together. Puzzles referenced travel journals and maps and discarded notes, and one puzzle in particular made me feel very much like Indiana Jones on his way to stealing a priceless artifact from a baddie (you'll know which one I'm talking about). Even the clues were given in character, via a walkie talkie from our "getaway car driver", rather than just flashed across a screen for us when we got stuck. I also appreciated how the puzzles weren't strictly linear, but we had to circle back to clues we'd found previously in order to complete certain stages (again, felt more detective and less rat in a maze). Atmosphere/build quality: Before doing this room, I wouldn't have thought that atmosphere was as important to me as the challenge of the puzzles. However, this experience definitely convinced me that attention to detail really adds to the fun! When compared to the other two rooms I've done, walking into this room (or rooms, rather, as there were multiple involved in the experience) was like walking onto a movie set, and the attention to detail and quality of the props and setpieces involved really helped you forget that you were in a renovated office building and have fun getting lost in the experience. Staff: The husband and wife that ran our experience were very friendly and happy to be doing what they were doing. They were excited and animated in explaining our scenario to us beforehand and in debriefing us/reminiscing about the puzzles afterwards (after we narrowly escaped with seconds to spare!). There wasn't a group booked after us, so they even let us spend some extra time enjoying the room afterwards. If you two are reading this, thanks again for all of the effort that you put into your awesome room! If you've read this far then you probably don't need further convincing, but just in case: Project Escape gets two big thumbs up from me. The quality of an escape room experience is very dependent on the imagination and dedication of the people who build, maintain, and run your room, and you're definitely in good hands at Project Escape For reference/comparison, the other two escape the rooms I've done were "Amazing Escape Room" in Princeton (theme of the room wasn't very strong at all in comparison, the room was a bit sparse, and the puzzles were fun but not really connected to each other or the theme), and "Mystery Room NYC" (which I'd say was a "solid" establishment. 4/5 star experience but nowhere near Project Escape). Looking back over my review I realize that it may look like I'm somehow being compensated by Project Escape haha but I truly am just an unaffiliated but very satisfied customer. read more
