This was one of the Beat escape rooms I've ever been too. This place is Jersey's hidden gem. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend going in a group more than 2. Because its very Challenging but even though it was only 2 of us when i went here it was very fun we did good, or should i say my date did good lol. I will be definitely coming back.

My group of 8 had a fantastic time escaping the Billionaire's Den. Jordan was super helpful and attentive when it came to giving us clues. The room was very clean and had a fun vibe. 10 out of 10. We can't wait to go back!

Best escape room in the area. Leah is 12/10 with the hints and customer service. I will be back to get the last puzzle piece!

We booked an hour ($32 per person per hour) which got us our own lane with two targets, two tomahawks and two hatchets, and "axe master" Alexis who showed us how everything worked and gave us tips on how to throw better. You can also pay extra to throw a wide assortment of gnarley, medieval looking weapons like spears and daggers and such. I spent a good chunk of time aiming for the blue dot "kill shot" and finally succeeded with just a few minutes left in the session. This got me the right to write my name in a blue sticker and spin the prize wheel and I got a Bury the Hatchet coozie to take home with me. This location is BYO (both food and alcohol - but no liquor) and they have tables where you can set up food and drinks. Kids are allowed but minimum age is 10. Overall a great place for a date night or time out with friends. We'll definitely be back sometime.

Leroi took the time to go over the instructions, kept coming over to check on us to make sure we were doing good. He was great with going over the games to play with the ax throwing. He was there for the high-fives when we hit bull's-eye and for the only one "call shot" that was made from our group. Overall, I would give the experience a 10+. I highly recommend, we will definitely go back. And Kudos to you Leroi!

The woman who was teaching the class just seemed to be having a bad day and taking it out on the…read moregroup. The "class" was much more of a demonstration than a class, most of the items were already pre prepped and ready. For instance the pate a choux we were "making" already had everything in a pot measured out. There was only a job for a single person to participate, one person stood at the pot and waited for it to boil and then she added in the flour while it was stirred. My friends and I were a group of 7 and there were an additional 8 people and it was pretty cramped in the space. I was also put off by the cleanliness. Clearly this kitchen doesn't have a decent exhaust system the fan is drooping and caked with filth. The vents were also caked with filth. And the two tables where you walk in we're piled with what looked like months of mail, empty boxes, and just overwhelming clutter. It is not the clean kitchen environment I'd expect of a place having classes. The marble island is not sealed which would leave it porous which concerns me on their ability or even concern with sanitizing it. We were making paella and when one in our group mentioned that she won't eat shrimp the chef seemed annoyed and asked if she could just pick them out. The only thing we all participated in was cutting tomatoes, onions, and garlic. Everything else was preprepped, measured, or someone swooped in and tossed it in a pan while one person was stirring. I'm sure other things would allow for more group involvement but a one pan dish did not. Sorry to say I don't think I'll be returning. Fortunately my friends and I can make a good time out of anything so we did have fun spending time together.

I was told that gift certificates never expire and I needn't worry, but I insisted that be marked on the certificate itself, so she begrudgingly changed it to March 31, 2021 (a 3 month extension). During that 3 month time the shop location in Haddonfield closed, so in April I called the proprietor, Kathy, for an update and class location information. First, I got evasive answers about her relocating the shop somewhere she wouldn't say, and then when I mentioned the now-expired gift cert, she condescendingly snipped 'I told you before they never expire!'. When I countered that if that were true then why did she date it for March, she became melodramatic and accused me of yelling at her (funny, she was 'yelling' at me) and curtly told me that she would just give me a refund (as if I don't deserve to take her class for questioning her - lol). I readily agreed. Based on the other Yelp reviews that I've now read, I'm so glad that we did not give this miserable and clearly troubled woman our money and patronage. I received a check from her and went straight to her bank and cashed it out. Done. We will go enjoy some red wine and cooking at Sur La Table. What a pathetic excuse of a businesswoman.

Although you wouldn't know from the outside, the space is amazing-colorful, bright, inviting and lends itself to the creative mind. There are multiple large rooms that can each accommodate maybe 15? people (due to the equipment) with sinks for cleaning everything off at the end. The instructor started off a little dry but ended up really engaging everyone and the entire group seemed to have a great time. We had a one hour session and, after getting setup with an apron and a clay working station, we got to choose what basic item we wanted to make, got guidance throughout the process, decorated our creations and decided on the color for the pros to add on after the fact. Items are fired/cured and picked up in several weeks. It was a great, chill way to spend a weekend morning and I'm looking forward to bringing my treasure home in a few weeks.

The instructor was super nice and helpful--he guided us step by step through the whole process. After shaping our clay, he torched it and let us decorate with a variety of cute stamps (so many to choose from!). He even helped us take photos after the class, which was a nice touch. We each ended up making a flower vase and a bowl. Just a heads-up: you'll need to wait about 30 days to pick up your finished pieces since they need time to be fired, glazed, and properly dried. Overall, it was a fantastic experience--fun, relaxing, and very beginner-friendly. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a unique activity in Philly! The class was about 2 hours long and totally worth it. Bonus: there's plenty of parking out front and along the main road.

Going to give a very honest review that reflects several other problems recent lower star reviews…read morehave also said they had. The BEST thing about this place is the staff. In fact we will probably come back here to do another room and we wouldn't bother if it had not been for how friendly the staff is, especially (but not exclusively) someone named Jack. Seriously, whomever owns/runs this place, take note: you need to give this man a raise, because without him and the other people working there, we would never come back. We did the horror/spooky themed room "The Estate" which is fairly high tech in many ways. Lots of really cool digital effects, in theory a very well designed room. Unfortunately our *very first* two puzzles did not function properly. One of the very first doors that is meant to spring open didn't do so; it popped open a crack but we couldn't pull it open easily and given the rules to never force things open, we didn't want to pull it HARD, which it turns out we should have. Also, after solving the very first puzzle, a door that was supposed to spring open did not do so. They have a rule that you cannot ask for a hint for the first ten minutes, so for ten minutes we milled around feeling stupid until we finally asked for a clue that literally spelled out how to solve the next major puzzle - and when we did, a door opened with a prop hidden inside that had *the way to solve the puzzle we just solved* written inside of it. So that was pretty damned frustrating. Certain other things were a bit off here and there, but the deisgn and concept were very immersive so ultimately we let it go and as a duo of only two we managed to finish with ten minutes left (but it would have been more if we hadn't wasted the first ten.) If this place could get it's sh*t together to not have broken puzzles/doors/portions, they'd probably avoid these negative reviews. My advice: come here, give it a try, but say to your gamemaster before you start "I have read some recent reviews saying that some puzzles and traps are having problems. Can you please be very attentive during our experience and make sure nothing goes wrong, and if it does, help to correct it quickly?"

Overall, we escaped with lots of confusion and how things got activated. When asked, they stated that they were having lots of mechanical problems. When we asked for clues, not only did it take AWHILE for the clue, they also gave us clues that we already had solved. Very disappointed!
