Our group of 9 rate Purgers at SAGE Escape as one of our all-time favorite rooms! Great puzzles, attentive game master.

Our puzzle master, Jamie, did a great job of explaining the process before we got started, and I do appreciate that the door is unlocked so you can come and go as needed (didn't have to, but I remember when that wasn't the case!). We did the Witch's Cauldron, which was a really fun room to work with. Of course without giving anything away, everything was pretty clear in terms of what was next, and clues came way in handy when we asked for them, which was easily done by just saying so while looking at a camera. I think this was their newest room, but the first one I'd been to. I thought it was really well done, and everyone was engaged throughout. I especially prefer the rooms where there's a lot that needs to be done, so people can split up doing stuff rather than everyone crowding around one puzzle. I'd love to try another room there sometime!

Came here on a rainy and chilly Saturday afternoon with my girlfriend and 11-year-old son. It was…read morethe first time ever trying an escape room for all of us. The rooms are $32 per person (no discounts for children or weekday pricing), and with tax the total price for the three of us was $102.36. David was our game master and did a great job of explaining everything to us before we started and quickly feeding us clues during the game when we asked. We did the Egyptian Tomb: Imhotep's Curse because it felt the most like we were in Indiana Jones. I wish we had known there were actually two rooms, so that I might have budgeted my time better and asked for clues a little sooner. Alas, we did not escape the room(s), but it was still a great experience and it was all very well designed. I think we are all itching to come back for redemption, so we'll definitely return and give one of the other rooms a shot.

After asking my fellow mom's for some recommendations on a good, family friendly Escape room (our…read morekids are 6), we landed on Elite Escape in Exton. They had three rooms to choose from - a Video Game theme, Wizard of Oz, and Aladdin. The gentleman who answered the phone when we called in was very helpful - we told him our group size, the ages of the kids, and our "goal," and he helped us pick the right room. We landed on Aladdin since the kids had seen the movie and it was a larger room (there were 8 of us total, five adults and three kids). WARNING - Aladdin literally takes place in a desert. The floor of the room is covered in sand. I would not recommend this room to anyone with sensitive eyes or breathing issues - in fact, I removed a star since this wasn't addressed in advance. Other than that, everything was perfect - the manager gave us clues as needed to keep us on track so that the kids could finish the room in the allotted time (I love that he got this - what six year olds want to lose an escape room?!). The level of puzzles/clues was a good mix - there were plenty for us adults to figure out, but still plenty for the kids to do on their own. There's a clue that involves smelling something -- they LOVED it. I highly recommend this as a Covid-friendly activity. It felt clean, we were in our own room, and the kids got out of the house for a little bit (what more can a parent ask for in the winter?!). And the fact that it is near Victory Brewing didn't hurt either....

We asked for clues and it took forever to get a reply, and the rooms were not up to the quality I'm…read moreused to from escape room sets. The challenges were just number challenges over and over, it wasn't very creative and when we didn't get out in time we couldn't even hear the video message that came at the end. Would not recommend.

Because of the interest of my friends mainly, I was curious to see the differences between Blind Tiger Speakeasy here and the one in OBX escape rooms. The setup and price here is much better. I don't remember all the nuances, but I know the modifications done with KOP are much better. The beginning puzzle, they let you solve it intuitively in parts rather than expect the entire combination to be correct. This helps with playability and the fun factor. They have wonderful employees that work here. Jaden was no exception! I did catch on to some clues faster because even though I didn't remember exactly what I did with my group at the OBX one, I did have a faint inkling. At the OBX one, we didn't solve it but had help from a guide in the room as I was only in a group of 3, the room there required a minimum of 4, and we had to pick rooms that could serve physical accommodations there. I'm still "waiting" for some escape room in the general area to do escape the 90s. The closest one from my area right now seems to be Rochester, which is too far. I do pass by that way once in awhile, but being only one person makes it tough. . .
