We were very appreciative that the staff was able to accommodate our early arrival and facilitate an immediate start to our session, which was a significant bonus. ​We participated in the "Serial Killer" themed room. As this was the first escape room experience for everyone in our party, there was a natural element of apprehension following the initial briefing and room viewing. We found the experience to be unique, highly engaging, and thoroughly enjoyable. ​The service provided by the front desk gentleman (whose name we unfortunately missed) was exceptional. He was highly informative, provided clear instructions, and offered helpful recommendations for local dining options. The in-game elements were also excellent; clues were delivered effectively, the communication system was clear and easy to understand, and the props and puzzle design were exciting and well-executed. ​The single point of constructive feedback we offer relates to the background music level. We found the volume of the ambient music to be slightly excessive, which occasionally impeded verbal communication among our party members and, at times, made it challenging to clearly receive direction from the remote staff via the communication device. ​Despite this minor operational detail, we enthusiastically recommend this business and anticipate returning soon to try another themed room or the rage room.

The experience turned out to be way more fun than we expected. We were grouped with another team: a mother, her daughter, aunt, and their brother, and they made the game even better. Everyone jumped right in and worked together so well. We played The Heist, which is their second most difficult room, and it kept us on our toes from start to finish. The puzzles were clever, the props were interactive, and the whole setup was super immersive. We managed to escape with just 24 seconds left on the clock, and the thrill at the end was unforgettable! If you go, don't be afraid to touch everything and definitely ask for hints when you need them.

It was a little confusing for me at first because I wasn't sure where to begin, since it's my first time and all. After I got the hang of it, we flew through! It was sooooo much funnnn!! Because of the interest of my friends mainly, I was curious to see the differences between Blind Tiger Speakeasy here and the one in OBX escape rooms. The setup and price here is much better. I don't remember all the nuances, but I know the modifications done with KOP are much better. The beginning puzzle, they let you solve it intuitively in parts rather than expect the entire combination to be correct. This helps with playability and the fun factor. They have wonderful employees that work here. Jaden was no exception! I did catch on to some clues faster because even though I didn't remember exactly what I did with my group at the OBX one, I did have a faint inkling. At the OBX one, we didn't solve it but had help from a guide in the room as I was only in a group of 3, the room there required a minimum of 4, and we had to pick rooms that could serve physical accommodations there. I'm still "waiting" for some escape room in the general area to do escape the 90s. The closest one from my area right now seems to be Rochester, which is too far. I do pass by that way once in awhile, but being only one person makes it tough. . .

The rooms are $32 per person (no discounts for children or weekday pricing), and with tax the total price for the three of us was $102.36. David was our game master and did a great job of explaining everything to us before we started and quickly feeding us clues during the game when we asked. We did the Egyptian Tomb: Imhotep's Curse because it felt the most like we were in Indiana Jones. I wish we had known there were actually two rooms, so that I might have budgeted my time better and asked for clues a little sooner. Alas, we did not escape the room(s), but it was still a great experience and it was all very well designed. I think we are all itching to come back for redemption, so we'll definitely return and give one of the other rooms a shot.
