Lost my phone here last night. My apple watch has a direct line to my phone so I located my phone from my watch the next morning and it gave me downtown experiment location. Came here for valentine's day with reservations and the security guard and general manager tried to turn me away for wearing shorts. No where do they mention they have a dress code. 10 minutes later his FRIEND walks in wearing shorts and a tshirt. The gm daps him up and hugs him instead of turning him away or even giving him a hard time either. Not only that but everything is way overpriced. Basic food with little flavor. Horrible customer service smh the security guards kept my husbands ID to get cash out. I tried to go get it back and they said he had to go retrieve it, so he went and apparently they have two different lock boxes for certain stuff and told him to come back another time like it wasn't a big deal. Doesn't sound like a big deal but it was the passive aggressive tone that they used talking to us. I used to be here all the time and never experienced this. Poor service. Slow bartenders that don't seem to know how to delegate printed orders and customers that come up to the bar. There seems to be a lot of chatting amongst servers and no real restaurant service. This is a glorified bar with bottle service. 100% worth getting an entire bottle and getting a booth but not worth a walk in try. The heaters and outdoor seating is hash. Strawberry margarita was okay, the pepperoni Flatbread was great, and the new cali sushi roll was not to our liking.The server that we had was nonchalant with my table. We asked for water three times and had to get up from my chair to run down another server to get our check and to go box. I'm so angry. mine and my friend's phone got stolen last night from of our bags and 1. Management refused to do anything and 2. It seems like this is a very common thing here so be aware if you go. Wouldn't be surprised if it's an inside job because I've read several reviews about people's phones being stolen. read more

A girlfriend and I wanted to check this place out since it recently opened. Calling and making a reservation was fairly easy. Parking was limited and we ended up walking a bit but it was Friday night on Halloween weekend so I didn't expect anything less. Once we got there they sat us right away but the seats were less than desirable. The place was pretty empty and they had plenty of seating inside however when we asked to be moved they said no. They seemed really unorganized as 3 different waitresses came up to us and said they were our waitress and tried to take our order. The menu is really limited as well, the specialty drinks are very very sweet and with very little alcohol. Our waitress convinced us to get the día de los muertos because it was the heaviest on alcohol, nope it was light and it tasted like flowers. It looks pretty tho. Food was ok. Since we're in the middle of a pandemic and options are limited, I decided to make reservations here for my friends 30th. In the reservation notes I selected it was for a birthday, but they didn't necessarily do anything special. In fact the whole experience really did feel like an experiment lol. When we first arrived I texted the reservation link to let them know we were there. After a few minutes we walked over to the door and the host walked away, so we just waited until we could flag someone down who didn't look busy. I get it, it's a new place, they're probably still working out a system. Even though it didn't take long to be seated, it was about 30 minutes until our server came by. We ended up ordering food with our drinks to avoid another long wait time. My friends ordered the house special drinks and their food and I stuck to a midori sour and the Popeyes something... Basically chips and dip. Around 20 minutes the some of the food came out with everyone's drinks, except for mine. I let her know and she stated that it was on its way out. About 10 minutes go by, and my friend asked if I wanted to try her drink (Dia de Los Muertos) delicious! (Highly recommend). I figured maybe I can change my drink since it wasn't out yet. When she came back she let us know she was going on break and that someone else would be helping us. I had politely asked if she could change my drink since it was never brought out, and she stated that she just barely put in the order for a midori sour. She changed it, but I could tell it was an inconvenience for her. My drink came out with (almost) the rest of the food, but it was watered down from sitting out and there was no more smoke from the dry ice, I let it go. When I asked about my chips and dip, she told me that the kitchen was super busy so that's why it was taking so long. I found that odd because I had ordered with the rest of my group, and we ordered before the crowd came in. By this time we were all over it, so we asked to speak to the manager. Overall this place gets 2 stars for food and ambience. The manager Diana was very nice, and took off the two items I didn't receive but didn't do much else to make her birthday any better. I will say I was embarrassed that I brought my friend here after hyping this place up so much. I'm just grateful we were able to find a place down the street with better service that saved the night! read more

I asked for some water in a cup and she said "no we don't have cups, when there was a stack right next to her" I tried to keep talking to her she gave me attitude said she didn't care and completely ignored me. Place was fun but...depending on what bartender you get the price changes for each I ordered multiple drinks on Sunday night and each bartender would charge a different price..drink prices should be 1 consistent..also if you Pay with card and make sure if you tip cash like I do that when you put 0% tip on there machine you close the transaction yourself if you give back to bar tender he may add a tip for you which I got 1 of them doing to me..other then that it is a very fun environment and 1 of the best places downtown I would just encourage management to look into these bartenders.. read more
