Cool spot , friendly people . Didn't try the food but the drinks are great price and I'll come again

We have been coming to the skydive for 13 years, I would never ban the bar just over a bartender. But at this point in time there are several days of the week that we will not go there. As of 3/18 we will no longer frequent the dive on Wednesday's either. The Elks lodge will be our to go spot. Thanks for letting me vent. Some people dont have the balls to say anything. What a genuine hidden treasure. Was driving along looking for a new place to play pool and stumbled upon the skydive. Seeing it as our diner drive ins and dives weekend we saw the sign with "pool" and did a quick U. Walked in and to our surprise we spent a good amount of time enjoying this lounge. Service was great, hospitable and helpful. We played a few rounds of pool always fun. The tables are in good condition and great music to enhance your game. Played some darts after and just really had a great time here. Cash is preferred but they do have card payment available as well but with a charge. Bring some quarters if you wanna play a few rounds but if you don't not to worry. The host is awesome and has plenty. Large welcoming outdoor patio seating. Give it a walk through and you may be surprised. Will be back for sure. read more

Last night we arrived at about 8 pm on 4/19 and got our first round of drinks, no problem. We are fairly new to the bar. Then the place started filling up with several birthday parties and there was only one bartender. We tried to get a 2nd round and didn't get any attention from the bartender but she made eye contact at one point. Came in a group of regulars showing up at the bar and the bartender IMMEDIATELY made their drinks. We felt left out and unwelcomed. Should have added another bartender when events like this happened. The bartender was kind and helped us understand our best options for drinks. We ordered 5 jaeger bombs, 1 Irish car bomb and 2 -24 oz modelo on tap and we paid $51.00 the atmosphere was amazing with the outdoor patio! The only problem was, we walked in with 5 guys and 3 women, all decent hard working people, felt like the record scratched and the music stopped! I don't believe in racism but seriously it may be be that we were all Mexican or that my daughter is a lesbian, I'm not really sure. But it was thick! One man said "oh fu&k" and moved away from us. If the crowd could be comfortable, this girl could make some good tips. The owner could make some good money. Probably won't come back because of the existing customers. Hope this helps. read more

I used to frequent this bar often. So a couple months back my boyfriend and I went in for a drink and One of the bar tenders was there drinking on her day off and ended up in a verbal confrontation with me calling me nasty names. The bartenders hours were cut from what i have heard and the owner contacted my boyfriend and apologized to him on behalf of the bartender but I have yet to receive an apology myself. A Riverside dive is truly a dive. But still, can there be a good dive in Riverside? The answer is indeed yes. The atmosphere can vary from afternoon to afternoon and night to night. They do have a happy hour; which starts when the doors open and ends at last call. Le dive is comprised of the usual characteristics including your daily/weekly patrons (which truly makes it a dive). This is a typical DIVE bar. Two pool tables, cash only and a regular crowd. Now...I have nothing against a good dive, but NEVER EVER put your finger up to me ( I mean you AMBER! ) and excuse me. You have NO idea who I am, ( Granted, I am nobody ), but I could have been the new owner for all you know. I can appreciate service to your regulars, but not at the expense of others. They have 2 pool tables, and is a very dark and dank hole in the wall bar, the service is really good. If you enjoy playing pool against good players then this is the bar for you, if you are looking to just play for fun do not go here, the customers will bully you off the tables LOL. read more

Skydive is the type of place that is more fun when you get to know the bartenders and the regulars, but honestly it's easy to befriend everyone because everyone is friendly and laid back. It's your typical dive bar, cheap beer, rock and country playing and everyone knows everyone. They have lots of pool and dart tourneys and several nights they offer complimentary dinner for the players. It's almost like a family away from home. 3 dart boards, 2 pool tables, a back patio you can drink and smoke on, a jukebox, a couple video game things and cheap, cold beer. I LOVE this little dive bar! I know the owner - so very sweet! I don't know her husband but I'm sure he's just as nice. My favorite part of the Skydive is Bennie, the cat! She's such a sweetheart. After her initial sniffing your feet & legs, (or in my case, my wheelchair) she's a doll, rubbing her face & head all over your leg & lets you pet her head & shoulders & back. The bartender is really nice & so are the regulars. Wonderful little place to spend an hour, or five, and relax & get to know everyone. So, come on over to the Skydive & have a great time! read more

One thing I would change about this bar is the cash only policy yes they have an atm in the bar but having to pay every time we ordered a drink when I was just trying to relax after a long day @ work was a lil annoying I enjoy having a tab being kept open so I can enjoy myself. Bartender was nice but i ordered a lemon drop it was the worst I ever had but I forced myself to drink it since I had paid for it already. Our bartender disappeared for a while to play pool while she was playing we were ready for another drink but had to wait .This place has older clientele but it's a very chill place when you don't want to be bugged and just need a drink. I can tell they have their usual customers who were also very nice they all said bye to my friend & I when we left.. I WOULD COME BACK here and maybe just order shots & less girly drinks that take less time like a redbull & vodka which I ordered and was good! read more
