My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this neighborhood bar and our connection with it continues to grow. This bar is not everyone's cup of tea; but we've found solace in the quick service, friendly bartenders, and tight-nit community of customers. They have great deals on beer, especially their tall can Tuesday. We love all the bartenders! Ash is great at managing speedy service on a busy night, Rachel is very socially adaptable, and Ashley is wonderful at engaging conversation with optimistic responses! The bartenders are all great at managing a demanding & (occasionally) chaotic clientele. The girls have always made us feel safe and attended to! Their free pool is definitely a great addition! Worst bar ever to go to never go there again I am disabled. They called the cops on me. I wasn't even drunk ant to top it off someone from the bar stole my backpack that had both my wallets in it and one of my wallet had over $2000 in it!! And the cop who handcuffed me didn't even bother to do a breathalyzer test on me nor did he even read me me right but yet he can say I was intoxicated in public no I'm sorry I don't think so I hadn't eaten anything all day and I had a grand maul seizure that's what happened don't judge what you don't know! read more

Morgan's Tavern is a pirate-themed dive bar. The bar is very small, with the bar itself taking up the majority of the space. Most of the seating (90%) is at the bar. There is one pool table that usually becomes a storage area for bands. And yes, despite the size, it is also a music venue. The seating area is basically turned into a stage and pit area. It is so small that when bands play you are shoulder to shoulder with people. The service is usually very slow. There is usually one to two bartenders and they are constantly leaving the bar area to either smoke or talk with friends. Parking: One of the benefits of this location is there is plenty of parking. No sweat. For Bands: Storage area is very limited. Keep the gear in your care until you are ready to play. There really isn't an actual stage. You will have to set up on the floor next to the pool table. Check with your promoter about details because they do not have their own P.A. It is usually provided by one of the bands or whoever set up the show. Despite the negatives, anytime I have been to Morgan's, it has always been a good time. read more

Absolutely LOVE this bar. My girlfriend and I became regulars and absolutely love all the bartenders, great people. Super chill bar and everyone is super nice. Will you get hit on by drunk idiots? Yes. If it bothers you, just leave or tell the bartender because it's always a regular and they usually tell them to "sit down and stop bugging everyone." I have been coming to this place off and on for a while. My boyfriend who I love and cherish actually asked me out at this little dive bar. I had so much fun until this one bartender named Rachel kept disappearing a lot. The people were confused on where she kept going. Looks super shady on the outside at night but you walk in and the whole bar is pirate themed and friendly! The ceiling is plastered with dollar bills that hundreds of people have wrote on an stuck to almost every surface and object. The bartenders are super friendly and pour a great drink and really attentive to when you are running low. The crowd is friendly and local. Two rest rooms, both clean and in great shape. Cool little dive bar, saw it on yelp, our night started with wanting to celebrate the marine corps birthday . The VFW was closed so then I remembered this place and stopped in for a drink. Looks really shady from the outside but once inside they had a dj playing top 10 hits and had the best laser lights ever! I was in a trance looking at all the lasers lol. Small place with a large bar so we grab a spot and the female bartender greeted us right away. She was really nice and funny. Started with a corona and Newcastle then I bought my Hubby a shot of jagger and goldschlagger. I only had one beer since I was driving but my Hubby ordered another beer and for the marine corps bday the bartender was nice enough to bring him a shot of jack. Theew was a guy at the bartop who was friendly so it was a chill place. Drinks are cheap so plan I'm bringing some friends soon. read more

OMG all I can say is please don't ever go to this bar if you are female. Doesn't matter if you are with a man either. They will sexually harass you. They will ask you to play dice for your panties. And I had just walked in the door as a first time customer. These men acted like they had never seen a female before and I was with my husband. They didn't care. If this is what they call friendly, then they need to rethink that. Female bartender said nothing, female owner right there. Apparently these are the locals. Worst experience ever. Most uncomfortable I'm ever been and I'm a pretty tough chick. So don't go to this bar unless you want to be harassed! read more

Rachel the bartender was very dramatic. I arrived around 9 and stayed until closing because I normally enjoy my time there. The entire time she was screaming and yelling, not taking orders timely to me and my friends. We asked for another beer multiple times and she didn't give it. Instead She went outside and caused a scene with other people and we still were waiting and she didn't give us anything so we left unhappy. Terrible service. The bartender from last night was horrible with her service. I was there with friends and she was very obnoxious the whole night and appeared very drunk. The entire night she was unprofessional and seemed to continue to forget about my drinks. She seemed more focused on socializing with someone she appeared to know then to serve her customers. The only bar in town I will walk into alone. Good prices and friendly bartenders. Roseanne is my favorite (she works Wednesday - Saturday night). They have live bands every Friday and Saturday night. Just getting tired of the same sucky screamo and punk rock wannabe bands. I understand it's local bands and I'm all for supporting local music, I just think the genres need to be switched up from time to time. Guaranteed that you will run in to a friendly regular there. Let me just start by saying that the owners are rude, greedy, unprofessional, and obviously operate with no sense of ethics. They had a dedicated employee (that I personally know) that was dependable, flexible and honest. They constantly took advantage of her and threatened her job. They put her in dangerous situations of closing the bar alone in the middle of the night to walk out in the ghetto. They also expected her to purchase food on her dime to keep customers happy. Other friends and family stopped by on her shift and said they couldn't believe she would subject herself to working such a scary and hideous dump like that. Don't patronize these crooks. read more
