Delicious, thick, chunky cookies. I think it was about $24 for 6 cookies and took a few days to eat them all. I think it's such a cute idea to name the cookies after family and friends. The lemon blueberry cookie tasted just like the blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes over at Sabrina's so that was a favorite, but the Heavenly Helene (oatmeal), Queen Lisa (chocolate chip), Jazzy Jimmy (sugar cookie), Cheeky Charlotte (cookies & cream), and Dan the Man (caramel pretzel), all really enjoyable. read more

I was walking around Haddonfield NJ today and came across Downtown Cookies. When I went in I saw some good looking cookies so I bought 6 cookies. It cost me $23.90 and yes it was well worth it. I picked up 3 chocolate chip (Queen Lisa), and 3 oatmeal raisin (Heavenly Helene) cookies and both flavors were aaaawesome. This cookies had great flavor and they did not skimp out on the chocolate chips or raisins. Each bite was just as good as the other. I will go back and try other flavors that they have. They even have a s'mores cookie I will try next time I am there. read more

I love the idea of having home made baked cookies right here in Haddonfield . They are not the cookie that is like a lot of other places. Wholesome ingredients and kind and friendly staff . Stopped by for something sweet after having lunch out and downtown cookies hit the mark. I got the Dan the man cookie which was amazing. Hard on the outside and soft isn't great middle a great combination of flavors: Carmel, chocolate, salt Can't wait to stop by again. I had the craziest sugar craving and decided to have a cheat day when I saw this place! The cookies were so big and had a cake texture but were soft and a little crunchy at the same time, literally perfect! I noticed that they also had a refrigerator with cookie dough that you could buy and bake in your oven at home! Stopped in for my Wife's birthday this morning and it did not disappoint. Greeted friendly right when we walked in the door. The store is clean and easy to navigate. As for the cookies, they were great. We got the Queen Lisa which was their staple chocolate chip cookie. It had a great crispy outside and warm soft center. We also tried the Blueberry Lemon cookie, this was a special for the month and was great too. It had more of a muffin consistency but they used local Jersey blueberries and you can definitely tell! Ladies and gentleman of the Yelp Universe: I have been to heaven, and it is made of Downtown Cookies. Will this be the best cookie you've ever tasted? I'd bet your children's inheritance on it. Will it cost you said children's inheritance for a single cookie? Also yes. $3.75 for a single cookie is pricey, but as is usually the case, you get what you pay for, and I think it's worth it. The cookies are a decent size, and they really are extraordinary. Dan the Man (sea salt caramel pretzel) and Tireless Tony (peanut butter chocolate) are personal favorites. The higher pricing seems to be consistent with most businesses in Haddonfield, not to mention nationwide trends in regards to inflation. The store itself is perfectly situated right in downtown Haddonfield, and is brightly lit, clean, and staffed with friendly employees. I also love that they regularly contribute prizes for events at my son's school (Tatem Elementary in Haddonfield). It's great to see businesses contributing to the community that they are a part of, and in turn I try to support them as much as I can. Give this place a try. You won't regret it! read more

While walking around downtown Haddonfield we spotted Downtown Cookies and decided to grab a few cookies. The cookies are about $3-$4 a cookie, but they're large and delicious. They have a variety of flavors - everything from your classic M&M to smores to chocolate peanut butter to chocolate chip banana. The cookies are loaded with flavor, have a crunchy outside and a nice soft inside - pure perfection! The shop itself is very cute, bright and clean. There's a counter with the current cookie flavors on display as well as a few tables so you can sit and enjoy your cookies. The shopkeeper were also very nice and happy to help customers. read more

If you try the cookies at Downtown Cookies and say they aren't the most delicious things you've ever eaten you can't be telling the truth! Morgan and her bakers are artists with these cookies. These are massive, dense, delectable cookies with some classic and some unique flavors that Morgan has added her own flair to. She does a flavor of the month which are always on theme for a nearby holiday and they are so fun and absolute works of art. For our wedding, Morgan did an assortment of 5 cookie flavors of our choosing, plastic wrapped each, and then packaged them in individual boxes with ribbons of our color choice (to match our theme!) and then she made stickers and adorned them to each box. It was service beyond what I expected and the presentation was immaculate. We had the cookies placed at each table setting to ensure guests wouldn't forget their favors and, walking around at our reception, we noticed more than a few cookie boxes had already been opened and sampled before the night's conclusion. Couldn't even blame them! Having been set on edible favors, we're so glad we chose Morgan and Downtown Cookies to bring a sweet end to our special day. read more

How great was it to find a small bakery that is better than the "chain" cookie places popping up? Really, really great! I just happened to be walking by after shopping today and decided to stop in. One thing I appreciated in addition to the adorable, clean decor was the friendliness and helpfulness of the person behind the counter. I find the cookies to be just okay. There's nothing about them that blows my mind. The chocolate chip cookie is missing something... walnuts maybe? They're pricey for $3.50 a cookie, but they're big and when you factor in the location I can justify it. However, with that being said I still expect a mind blowing cookie. read more

My mom spent all day making homemade "gravy" but all we could think about were the mouthwatering cookies that would conclude our feast. I could never finish my plate of pasta but when it came to cookies, I never found one I didn't like! The prices were reasonable and I was happy with the pleasant experience. I left and ran to my car so I could try the chocolate ganache. Let's just say it was gone before I made it home. The chocolate was delicious and the cupcake itself was fluffy, sweet (not overpowering) and delectable. We finished the rest of the cupcakes over the weekend and loved each one we tried. I was quoted $51 for a 10-inch yellow cake, and for that price I expected at least some level of customization and customer service. I wanted a 3-layer yellow cake with real fruit and two different filling flavors between the layers. However, I was told that Sweet Eats Bakery only makes cakes in bulk and that customers must choose from a pre-set list of cake and filling combinations. I was informed that each cake contains two layers of the same filling and that selecting different fillings for each layer was not an option. Wanting to see if an exception could be made for what seemed like a simple request, I spoke with the manager, Bridgett. Unfortunately, she also refused to accommodate the request and reiterated that I had to choose from the existing options. When I asked whether they would rather lose a customer than honor a simple request that would not create any hardship for the bakery, she responded that they would rather lose a customer. At that point, they lost me as a customer. For a bakery charging premium prices, I expected more flexibility, better customer service, and a willingness to work with customers on reasonable requests. Instead, I was told to take it or leave it. I chose to leave it, and I will not be returning. If you're looking for a custom cake tailored to your preferences, this may not be the place for you. I highly recommend Sweet T's Bakeshop in Haddonfield, NJ, they are better anyways!

I'm so glad I did, and it's all because of Alicia. From the moment I walked in, Alicia was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional. She took the time to answer all of my questions and was extremely knowledgeable about the bakery's cake options. Her enthusiasm, patience, and genuine desire to help made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. Alicia completely changed my perception of the bakery. Customer service like hers is rare these days, and she deserves recognition for the outstanding job she does. She made me feel valued as a customer and reminded me how much a positive interaction can matter. Thanks to Alicia, Sweet Eats Bakery has earned my business back.
