Great family owned donut place, with custom made, while you wait delicious donuts... Fast service, and what a great difference from franchise, bulk mix run of the mill products..."The Hotdogterminator" says "I'll be back"...

Stopped in on a Sunday morning to pick up a few donuts for a family party. This was my first time in and the staff were very friendly and patient when I was having a difficult time deciding which flavors to get. I love how they have displays out of all their current options. Needless to say, the donuts I took to the party were a hit and the two I saved for myself were eaten in the car These cake donuts are freshly made and decorated per order. The shop is small, but they do decorate nicely and they get you in and out quickly.

This was a small spot that had no indoor seating, and the donuts were all made to order. Each donut had the same base and depending on what was ordered, it would be constructed when ordered. The staff was very friendly and there were a number of unique choices. I tried six donuts ($12+) that I will describe below. PB & J - This had much more of a peanut butter taste than jelly. I would have liked to seen more jelly incorporated here. The peanut butter frosting was very heavy and sweet. Watta Melon - I was interested in trying this the most. It was essentially made of watermelon flavored icing with some sprinkles, and it tasted exactly like a watermelon sweet. It was different and unusual but something I had to try. Bananas Foster - This was my least favorite of the day. It tasted like a fake banana flavoring was used rather than actual bananas. It just rubbed me the wrong way. 9th Street Special - This was a pistachio donut, and it was very tasty. The pistachio flavor combined with the pistachio pieces made for an appetizing treat. Root Beer Float - This was surprisingly my favorite one. I was surprised it had a pink icing to it, but it was not a big deal as it tasted exactly like I would imagine. It was my first time seeing this anywhere and it exceeded my expectations. Strawberry Lemonade - This was not on the menu, but one of the staff members told us it was her favorite and it can be made without a problem. It was much more of a lemonade flavor, but hints of strawberry was tasted. It was solid, but not great. Will I go back? Yes.

    Hey, hey Brûlée and maple

Mama Buntz is unique and like no other donut spot in the area. If you're familiar with Fractured Prune, this is Washington Townships own, better version. I am typically a filled white cream bakery donut girl, but Mama Buntz can quickly convert me. Each month there is a menu of specialty donuts, with several fitting the current holiday or season. We were throwing my coworker a baby shower and I knew she loved creme brûlée. However, her shower was in the morning. We wanted to provide pastries, and I quickly looked up Mama Buntz' menu online. I didn't see creme brûlée as an option, but I remembered seeing them in the past. I called and was able to order them two weeks in advance. Donuts are sold by the "niner" not the dozen, so I asked for three niners for a very early pick up time. If I had any question that these donuts are made fresh, I was told they would never be ready in time since they each had to have the sugar torched on top. I asked if I should just do them the night before and was told they wouldn't be as fresh. I respected this and opted to only do half my order as brûlée and the other half maple since the mom to be loves maple donuts. Everyone in my department at work was super impressed. They were being referred to as the "fancy" donuts and everyone loved them. Now if only I can find a way to eat donuts every week and not gain weight, I'll come here way more often.

If you're on the hunt for delicious and super reasonably priced donuts, you can probably stop your search as you pull up to MamaBuntz at the merger of Egg Harbor and Hurffville-Crosskeys roads in Washington Township. In the age of covid, you can scan their monthly menu outside, call ahead, or order on site. There's a large barrier wall for safety and only one customer will fit inside at a time. I was splitting with my mom, so it made sense price-wise to select a niner box. (They also host niner giveaways on their Facebook, btw). It was hard to choose between all the enticing flavors, but my standouts from the box included the strawberry shortcake, wreath-topped holiday, and the creamsicle. The donuts are made fresh to order. You can wait in your car while they're being prepared and the owner will bring them out. All around, great place.

I tried several donuts for the first time to see what the hype is all about. They start with a regular hole donut and then they make to order your donuts depending what you want on it. I give them credit for their originality. The server was very friendly and accommodating. She actually spent some time going over the different types of donuts. The donuts looked good but for me the taste was not there. I wish they had a stuffed donut but they tried to make a Boston cream one by filling the hole with custard. It was ok but not great. Each donut was $1.75 which was a bit pricey as well.

I love this place! Anytime we are going somewhere early or for a birthday celebration in the family we always bring these. I even drop some off at my husbands job for his birthday. It's always a hit! Not only are they FRESH, but there are so many different options & they change up regularly which is nice. Everyone here is so friendly & helpful. Highly recommend.

There was a lot of people when I went, so the wait was a little longer than I had anticipated. But the staff was very friendly and patient with every single person. I got two donuts - one funnel cake and one strawberry. Both were excellent and some of the best donuts I've ever had! While I took these donuts to go, there is a ton of seating indoors to eat, which I plan on doing next time. I look forward to returning and also trying one of their teas! Highly recommend checking this spot out!

A long continuous booth along the wall which is good for young kids, then chairs on the other side of the tables. The mochi donuts are all out on display to pick from and were a good value for the price. They all tasted fresh and the 3 that we tried (coffee, smores, and cookies & cream) were all great! The shape of each is nice as it allows you to break off a ball portion or cut it, so it's easy to share amongst multiple people who want to try multiple. We also tried a regular Korean rice hot dog and a potato Korean rice hot dog, as well as a regular mozzarella one. They were all very good. The batter on them was thicker than I was expecting which made it more filling, but still nice and fluffy. They also had a few different condiments out. The pieces of potato on the outside of the one added a nice extra bit of texture and I paired it with their spicy mayo that they had available.

One and done after the slop they served me, and then how they handled it afterward…read more Ordered a chicken fingers meal because I figured it was the easiest thing to not mess up, but Slice surprised me by making the absolute worst take out meal in recent memory. The Misses picked it up, and when she got home, I could smell the burnt oil through the bag. I opened it up to see the atrocity that I have included in this review. I PROMPTLY call Slice, letting them know that this meal is LITERALLY inedible, and they request that I send photographic proof. They wanted me to send them a pic of the trash they sent out the door, to make sure *I* wasn't lying. *eye roll* I do so, and they proceed to tell me that they can provide a "credit." SO, I grab the disgusting, burnt oil soaked mess and drive down to the storefront. I go inside and say that I'd prefer my money back, but the person working the register said that "we only do credit. I've never given money back; I don't even know how to do it." Strike 4? 5? Left with no options other than "get a credit to eat at someplace I don't ever want to eat at again," "remake my food," or "lose my money," I have them remake the food. A little while longer, a young man waltzes over with the offering that is in the second picture. The eagle eyed among you will notice that there isn't much difference. He has the audacity to ask me "does this look better?" "No." I tell him. I take a bite, and tell them that it just tastes like they have old, shitty oil. "No......I don't think so. We change it every day." BULL. SHIT. That oil might not have been changed this quarter, let alone YESTERDAY. I take the shit meal and just roll out, not wanting to waste more of my TIME to go along with my money. Not eating at Slice ever again is on the short list of the easiest decisions I'll ever make in life.
