I remember the check for four people was barely 15 bucks. The best pizza and burgers on the planet! Yes, its outdated and could use some TLC inside, but we went there for the delicious food, period. As I got older and had a car, I would go there on weekends w/my buddies. Everyone loved the food. The Oasis is the first pizza I've ever had that was square cut. Fast forward to 2024, I live in Largo Fl now and every pizza I order, I order square cut. I wish I had a transporter (star trek), to go to the Oasis on weekends. I miss it a lot. There is one pizza place down here that is pretty close to the Oasis quality. And I fondly remember the Oasis when we go there to eat. Thx-John H

The home of the "famous" Hot Pie since 1918, The Oasis on Harry L Dr. in Johnson City is one of the…read morearea's oldest dining establishments. Not much to look at from the outside, the inside is a nice little space with the bar (complete with giant fish tank) off to the right and some tables and booths up the stairs by the kitchen. I did not care for the blaring music (about four volume levels higher than I would've preferred) which was playing while I was there. I got the ever-famous Hot Pie. Weirdest pizza I've ever had. Had to be cheddar cheese instead of the usual mozzarella. The crust was soft and bready and had an off-putting taste I didn't really like. Now, had I been drunk at the time....I might be telling a different story. But hey, they've been in business for 92 years. For a local dive bar that's a pretty solid run. I don't know if I'll ever go back myself, but I think there's a lot of folks who would really like it there, so I'd imagine come 2102, another 92 years from now, they'll still be cranking out the Hot Pie like they've been doing since Woodrow Wilson occupied the White House.

It looks like a hole in the wall bar, and maybe it is, but as soon as we stepped in we were immediately greater warmly by the bartender and told to have a seat. Sorry I didn't get his name, but he was incredible, obviously pinging us as out of towners, but treating us kindly, even offering table service as they weren't busy. We ordered drinks which he brought immediately and let us look over the menu. He came back and took our order , all the while conversing with us and other patrons , clearly regulars. Kitchen staff brought out our food and it was hot and delicious! My wings were cooked perfectly, had a mix of flats and drums and were sauced very well (mild). My son got a quesadilla and it was dripping with melted cheese and he said it was one of the best he's ever had. My husband got pierogis and cheese curds and raved about the flavor. The bill came and since it was happy hour, we were very pleasantly surprised with how affordable dinner was for the three of us. We had a wonderful meal and experience and would definitely be back if we are ever in the area again.

This looks like a bookstore from outside. I love the vibe when you walk in. It actually feels like a speakeasy. You have to open a secret door when you walk inside the lighting the decor is all phenomenal. We did have to have a reservation as the place is completely booked on a Friday night, even the bar was too capacity. We were seated right away as we had reservations, the nice part about the reservations as well as you could text them to get those reservations. We had dinner prior to our reservations, so we didn't get a chance to try the food although the menu that was in a folded binder was lit when it opened a very cool little feature. The drink menu could've been a little bit more extensive for their specialty drinks, however, they had what seemed like hundreds of liquor options for you to make your own or to choose something on the rocks. Our server Nate was excellent, he suggested and recommended different drinks for us, he also brought over a little cheesecake because it was Amanda's birthday this week. Just an outstanding location vibe service experience. All of that. We would highly recommend it and if we're back in Binghamton, we would definitely go. If I lived in Binghamton. This is the place I would bring all of my guests to. Would we go back, absolutely, so much so that we are hoping or would love to see this in our hometown

I have been to Harry L Pub probably 50 times in the 8 years I've lived in the area and usually it's pretty decent. The service is so so usually... they DEFINITELY take care of the regulars, as you probably should. Anyway... sit at a table to only get up 3 minutes later and head to the bar for drinks, I get a bottle beer and she gets a margarita (which she liked) then it went downhill. She ordered the hot turkey and gravy, only to find out 5 mins after we order, they have no gravy... so a burger it is for her... I ordered a turkey club, (pretty hard to mess one up) and sweet potato fries. Of course, with the gravy debacle, mine comes out well before her burger, whatever. I look down and my bread is NOT toasted, nor is it the traditional 3 slices of bread. I've had a LOT of turkey clubs, and NEVER had one that was not toasted, however it was not bad. Oh, I forgot, never got silverware, napkins, or condiments before our food came out, had to ask for all 3. Not once did one of the TWO, bartenders come over and ask if everything was alright. So finish my beer, go ask for a box for her burger, (she ate half and really liked it) and try and get the bill, the cook stands at the bar opening swilling a beer and doesn't even move so I can pay my bill!!! Loved this place in the past, especially when the overhead doors are open and the breeze blows through... but I think I'm done going there.... Wasn't a great experience, and anyone who knows me, knows I ALWAYS leave at least 25%, even with sub par service.... Not tonight....

I'm not a huge fan of chicken wings, but guys... Guys... GUUUUUUYS. The chicken wings here are legit DELICIOUS. The vibe of the restaurant is just chill and relaxed. It's clean, the service is great (the server took care of drink refills without us asking, checked back with us regularly & in a timely manner, and brought the items from our order out as they were ready), and the price point is great for what you get as well. We ordered 4 different kinds of wings - Cajun, Black Cherry Pepper BBQ, Carolina Gold (the star of the show), and Hot Honey Garlic. I'm a bit of a lightweight when it comes to heat, so I didn't try the Cajun... but I loved the bit of fruit flavor from the black cherry wings, and really enjoyed the bit of spice from the hot honey. Those Carolina Gold wings though... I would come back again and again for those alone. Consider me a chicken wing convert, I guess! ALSO... I almost forgot that we have the buffalo chicken eggrolls as an appetizer. Perfectly crunchy outer eggroll with delicious buffalo chicken inside. I'm not a bleu cheese gal (blasphemy with buffalo chicken, but I don't care), and the server brought a little side of ranch out for us to dip our eggrolls in. *chef's kiss* TL;DR GO. FOR. THE WINGS. Seriously... you're missing out if you don't. Get a bunch of flavors, share with friends (or eat them yourself - I won't judge), and wallow in the sauce-y goodness.

The vibe of this place is exactly what's needed in America. I wish there were more places like the Union Hotel. It looks so fun and funky, everything is clean and I'm being serious, it's clean! Fried cheese curds and fried pickles...if that's all we ordered we were already hooked! Then our wings came!!! Pry the sauces out of my hands, I had it on my face, up my arms, the wings were exactly what you beg for anywhere else!! The sweetest and most beautiful bartender was an absolute angel getting our drinks and food! Extremely conscientious and attentive during busy moments! We cannot wait to go back...it was a fantastic reminder of what we used to have local to us! 10/10 all the way around!
