I let this slide since I only go once or twice a year. But since I am going on a three day ski trip this year I figured I owed it to my feet to get some work done on my boots. Even after many years the staff at Ski Bum still punched out my boots for me free of charge because all of their boots are sold with a fit guarantee! (You definitely won't get this type of service if you shop online for boots!) They do not work on your boots straight away so bring them in a week before your next ski trip. Anyways I have been wearing my newly punched out boots around the house and they fit great! Thanks Ski Bum! You have my business for life

I stopped in Monday to pick up a new pair of ballet shoes for a dance class I started this week. I…read morewaited too long to order them online (they weren't going to ship in time for my class), but I'm glad I did, because it was nice to discover Swan. The woman working the desk was the owner's mom. She told me about the owner's philosophy and how she likes to get to know all of her customers. Another staff member then helped me find the right shoes. She sized both feet, provided a couple of test pairs, and had me walk around the store to try them out. They hooked me up with a microfiber split sole slipper which fits kind of like a sock. Definitely different than the ballet shoes of my high school years. They have many varieties, however, and the staff will be happy to let you try on multiple types and sizes. The shoes were under $25 total which was great. They also offer a discount if you dance at a local studio! If you're like me and waffling between buying ballet shoes online and going to a dance store, I definitely recommend Swan. The prices for regular ballet slippers are very similar to what you will find on Amazon with the added value of getting to try them on to get a feel for them and being able to ask questions in the store. My only suggestion would be to add some pricing information to the 'Products' page of their website so people can get a feel for it ahead of time. Since I haven't bought ballet slippers in a long time I wasn't really sure what to expect at a brick-and-mortar store. Thanks Swan - I'll be back!

I've never ever been impressed by the range of options for women's soccer cleats. We might find one pair that comes in her size. If we're lucky it'll be in a make/model/color that she wants. No women's size 6 in any shoe. The kid working there tried to redirect her to a child's plastic version. He didn't seem all that troubled when we walked out. Unbelievable.
