White foam drink

In hopes of relief for a cool down from summer's sweltering humidity I exited my train to a food hall of Turnstyle Underground Market at Columbus Circle 59th Street. After briefly scanning their drink menu on the wall for something cold and non-coffee I decided on strawberry blended lemonade $7.95. It is utterly overpriced as I was flabbergasted and, I completely agree with another Yelper, the stolid, apathetic very cantankerous Asian female cashier spurn disdainfully blatantly the wrong way as perhaps that is her personality. I requested for ice in my drink and her vibe fend that I was bothering her to do work while I am spending money who is paying your NYS minimum wage salary. My drink was awful as it was excessively too sweet of white foam. I have fallen into buyer's remorse. Former NYC Mayor Bloomberg would have been egregiously appalled of Down Under Coffee's lack of controlling sugary drink distribution and my consumption intake of sugary drinks! There were absolutely NO ice as I requested in my drink amid it was served cold. This business is located in NYC - not in United Kingdom where Brits do not insert ice in their drinks. It was 96% white foam as there were very minimal drink. "From the mountains to the prairies To the oceans white with foam God bless America, my home sweet home" - Irving Berlin, American composer I have requested a sales receipt for my credit card records and the Asian female cashier visibly appeared very disgruntled and excessively dispirited as I was, again, making her work. Woman, your line of work is in the service hospitality retail industry to serve customers do you truly understand? Absolutely I will not return as it was NOT an accomplished visit. Squat! White with foam excessively sugary drink. "Bye, Felicia!"

I ordered the jack fruit sandwich and it was great. I wish there were more of those cafe above ground! Service was great and fast. The woman working answered my questions about the food and I was thankful for all of the vegan options.

Upon arrival we noticed the difference in crowds. Not as busy and packed sidewalks. Also it was a lot cleaner than Chinatown. Since we just ate at C-Town, it was time to find a good dessert place in K-Town. So we walked and we walked until I saw a banner sign showing shaved ice desserts. Then I noticed the name of the business is Grace Street. How fitting, because that is my wife's name. So we went in and what caught my eye was a mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, strawberries, and condensed milk, however I was over ruled by my wife and we went with the black sesame and mochi and condensed milk. It also had red bean, but that had to be on the side, since that gives me gout. Such nice staff taking orders and we went into the dining area to find a seat. What a large spacious area with many tables. Our order came out and it looked so good. The black sesame shaved ice or snow as it's also referred to as, was perfectly sweetened by the condensed milk and the chewy mochi. Definitely cleaned my pallet from our Chinese lunch and it helped cool me down from the New York heat. We got water, but there was no ice offered, so I asked one of the workers and he was kind enough to get me some. We are through that dessert like, if we didn't finish it fast, it was going to melt. We did not give it a chance to melt one bit. The staff here are efficient, as they saw we were done, they asked to clear our dessert bowl away. It was a nice experience even if it was just dessert. They definitely had more dessert options to offer, but i

I really enjoyed their matcha basque cheesecake with a prominent, deep matcha flavor. The texture was pretty smooth and loved how it wasn't too sweet. The Ho-Dduk has the lovely combo of sweet brown sugar/caramel flavor and creamy vanilla ice cream. When its hot, the dough is super chewy on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. The mango bingsoo had a good mango flavor; wasn't too tangy nor too sweet. Mangoes were fresh for the season. The elixir or the matcha bingsoo was solid too, but I still preferred the strong matcha flavors from the cheesecake. Lines sometimes are long but it also moves fast! After ordering, you get a buzzer that will tell you when your desserts are ready. Lots of seating options from tables to high tops.

We worked with Eric via email and he was great managing and making sure everything was settled ahead of the event. On the day of our lunch, we arrived around 20 minutes early and the table was already set up. We had two servers throughout the meal and they were lovely. They made sure everything was set up and we had everything we needed. For a large group reservation, they have a $60 minimum and you order everything ahead of time. (The afternoon tea set is mandatory for everyone to get). We had the afternoon tea set, caprese tarts and strawberry parfait for all attendees. The food was filling and tasty. Tea is always so good as well (I always get my Rose Lovers Milk Tea!) All in all, a great option for a group reservation in the city!

The size of both were the perfect amount since we just wanted something small to end the night. The ube crepe cake was really light and creamy. The ube flavor was pretty subtle, and I mostly tasted the cream. It's a perfect light dessert, but I would've liked the ube flavor to be stronger. The chocolate lava cake was super rich and decadent but also really delicious. I feel like it kinda battled with the ube crepe cake since they're total opposites. The staff were friendly. The interior was really cute and had a relaxing type of atmosphere that made it great for a nice place to sit, chat, and have dessert.
