We got a great deal on a unit that was on their second floor because there was no elevator. We only had boxes so that wasn't an issue for us. We also loved that there are other businesses operating out of the building, so you never really feel alone. We also liked that if we wanted the guys to open up the back loading dock, we didn't have to park, walk around the building, then walk through the entire building to open up the door- instead you just give the guys a ring and they let you in! When we moved out they were super friendly and made the move out process seamless. Trust me, I was ready for a battle with them, but they called/texted and made sure I was taken care of. This was by far the most accommodating and nicest staff I've ever come across. They are diligent about contacting you about any changes. They took care of me and helped me out on several occasions above and beyond what they needed to...I won't site examples because I don't want them to be bullied into doing the same for everyone that demands the same. But they really were so accommodating. If it weren't for that fact that I spent several years paying for a storage unit in a place I was not coming back to, I was actually sad to leave the place. Wondering when would there ever be an occasion for me to come back to army street storage unit? I actually had to have them cut off my lock because I couldn't remember my code ‍. They do it for a very fair rate, immediately on site. The actual moment he cut all the way through the lock I screamed that I found the code on my phone! We had a good laugh and he helped me acquire a new lock to temporarily keep my stuff safe. Great staff. Very reasonable prices. Accessible units (no riding an elevator and using annoying carts over and over just pull your car through the gate and right up to your unit). But the Alfa team made the whole move a LOT less stressful! I'm very grateful of their team! We were texting back and forth a week prior to our move. The owner was very patiently addressing each of my concerns. Then on the day of the move, they arrived early and very politely asked if they can start moving. They quickly started moving our boxes and misc item's strategically. They inquire us about if we want to keep the items, they even helped us disassemble our furnitures. Also they do not waste a minute of their time, I even felt bad of how hard they work. They finish the move within a couple hours which is much faster than what other companies quoted me. They are also very nice people to talk to. I think I lucked out finding them as our movers, I cannot recommend them enough!

I chose this one because my realtor had known them and the representative said we stand up for what we do. Well they did not. They sent too small a second truck. The movers seemed like they did not know how to move or pack. Ran out of room. Had to go on pur own rent a uhaul. Once to new home things got worse. They are now just trying to unload and go. The biggest damage is to my couch. They dropped it going through the front door. Damaged the leather. And door. Couch is costing over 2,000 to repair. Need to order leather from manufacture and have it put back on. The master bed wobbles and is not right after the move. Several screws were missng.

I had hired movers to load the truck in Aurora, CO who showed up with their own dollies and in a vehicle. After about 30 minutes, one of the movers appeared to tire out and take frequent breaks. Though it was warm, this is the job they have chosen to perform and I expected them to continue working until the job was done. We gave them plenty of water as well, and I did not pester them to continue to work. Would likely not recommend this company to others.

I moved from the Bay Area to the east coast and I chose this company because they were local, accredited and friendly when I initially called. I made the moving arrangements and I was told over the phone Kathy (Relocation Consultant) it would take approximately 7 - 21 days from pick up (incorrect information - it is 1 - 21 business days from first date of delivery) to delivery on the east coast and I was quoted a good price of approximately $2100. The day of pick up, Edgar (the lead mover) start haggling with my over the price and quote me a "new" price of $2500 and explains to me he is cutting me a deal because I am "over weight" etc etc etc. I signed a binding contract and my stuff was loaded onto the truck on a Friday September 12th. I called the following week on Wednesday, to get an estimated date of arrival from the company. I spoke with Tami (Customer Service Representative) who told me the shipment would be leaving the following Monday, September 22nd but she would call back next week to confirm. I never received a phone call so I called them a week later on a Wednesday; Tami was on vacation and I was told by Andrea they were going to contact the dispatch person and call back. By Friday I did not receive a phone call so I called them back again and I was told with 100% confirmation that the truck was leaving the following Monday, September 29th. I called the following week again because I never received an update regarding my shipment and I was told there was a "mix up" in communication, they were "short staffed," and there was a "delay" with one of the drivers and my shipment did not leave. Melissa, one of the supervisors then took over the processing of my shipment. I was then informed by her that I owed an additional $78 dollars because they forgot to include a tax on the initial quote even though I signed a binding contract and they could not ask for additional money. Melissa was unable to estimate or confirm a new shipment date because of scheduling issues with the drivers. Needless to say, 2 additional weeks later my shipment finally left the bay area and finally arrived to me on October 21st well over the original estimated shipment time. Many of my items are broken and boxes are torn up with items falling out of them. Tabletops have been damaged and scratched because the movers shoved them into other boxes with other items. I have been nothing but disappointed with this moving company from start to finish. Their customer service is terrible, they are poor communicators and do nothing but make excuses for their horrible service.

One exceptionally hard worker is Anan. If considering this service, I highly recommend him... I've even hired him again and plan to use him for the next month to help with other projects... My only issue with the service is their online request service... I think they need to work on this...
