I paid a visit to Justyn's shop and I explained to him that I had a Check Engine light on my Outback. He told me to bring the car in and he found a loose spark plug wire. This was corrected and he tightened a few loose bolts. I was pleased with getting my Outback up and running without making a trip to the dealership. A few months ago, I brought the Outback to Justyn to repair an oil leak. He made the repair and the rear struts were replaced once the parts arrived. The car ran great after the repairs were made. I found another new leak. Justyn made the repair and he sent me pictures of the trouble areas before making the repairs. I love the quality of the work that Justyn has done for my Outback. The price of the service has been reasonable. It is considerably less expensive than the dealership. I also the fact that Boxer Worx is my home town of Fernley. Thanks Justyn! You are my go to for Subaru service. Keep being awesome!

My experience with the owner Ted was terrible. Ted cannot be trusted because he is a liar and…read morescammer. With an automotive business it does not get any worse than that. I was towed here from highway 447 which cost a lot of money, I was then told he would fix my vehicle for x amount of money. I paid for a hotel next door and waited until the next day for updates on diagnosis and if the cost would be more than the quote he gave me. The communication was little to none (I called a few times to check in since he was not giving me any updates and I was paying daily for the hotel because I was waiting to get the jeep fixed.... When I came back in to the shop to pick up my Jeep expecting the fix to be done already Ted informed me that he couldn't figure out the problem. This was an obvious lie because my husband ended up diagnosing and fixing it for less than $200 (just a simple fix broken u-joint on a jeep). Ted then informed me that just diagnosing the Jeep would cost the amount that he had quoted me for fixing it. He started to get angry and threatening with me about it when I questioned him which as a young woman at the time in my early 20's all by myself scared me a lot so I left having been charged the money and confused about everything. Also I drove the jeep back to Reno with my hazards on at 45 mph thinking I was not going to make it and scared. I will never forget my experience here at this business with Ted who knew I was scared, tired and did not have other options. I paid for the tow to his shop, the hotel and the estimate for the quote on repairs and left with the same broken Jeep I arrived with. Ted knows if he can take advantage of you in any way he will and has no remorse about it. Ted lost the trust that's needed to run a biz like his. Unfortunately once you lose a customers trust that you will only charge what is necessary and not plot to make as much money as possible off of them by lying no one wants to leave you their vehicle with you. I am happy to think about the fact that he has lost more business than what he scammed me out of by anyone who has read his real reviews. Not only did Ted scam me but after writing my reviews he then started to send me threatening messages on yelp in my messages as well as send other customers to message me that he bamboozled with a fake sob story. This man will lie to the very end and scam you for every penny if you let him. Do yourself a favor by avoiding this place at all costs because as soon as his mouth opens you will be off worse than when you arrived and that's a guarantee.

I went to Fernley Dolan only because I knew Louie Mori and had seen his incredibly informative…read moresocial media posts. Louie is the most honest, authentic person in the auto industry. He is transparent, knowledgeable, charismatic ... while also maintaining kindness and empathy. I brought a very specific need to him, and he helped while also being patient. Dolan Auto Group should really take a few pages from Louie's book and hire more product specialists like him. He conducts himself in a manner that I would consider the gold standard. Life is about people and Louie cares about people. You don't have to be dishonest and deceive people to get them to buy something, like the finance department did in my "deal". Make sure you take your time when signing their documents on the tablet they hand you. And wear your glasses if your eyesight is poor. Just be sure you can read all the numbers. Even when I asked for my documents to be printed, I was told, "these don't leave the dealership". It wasn't until I printed my own documents that were sent to me via email, that I realized they did not honor the advertised sale price on the tag - which I still have. This was roughly a $4,000 difference, plus tax. I don't know anyone who can afford to be deceived for that amount of money. I wonder how many times that has happened to other people. Finance works hard to cram extra warranties down your throat and when you decline, the finance person has to explain to someone in management why the customer declined. We all know there is a small kickback for from the warranty companies for selling the warranty. Maybe the $4,000 difference was retaliation from the finance department for me declining the extra warranty and this is how they make up for not selling the warranty. Don't be afraid to be a wise consumer and ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable with the "deal" before you sign. Louie doesn't need to abandon his morals or integrity to earn your business. But the other people on his team need to treat his customers with more integrity. Dolan needs to do better by Louie AND by their customers. Dolan is gaining repeat customers and positive social media presence - BECAUSE of Louie. Maybe a solution is to make Louie a partner or General Manager, and he can improve their business practices. People might forget what you say, but they rarely forget how you make them feel.

Seriously the most disinterested, unauthentic service advisors EVER!…read more We had our Grand Cherokee turn itself off while driving at 80mph in the middle of nowhere on highway 80. We made it to a mechanic in Battle Mountain who ran diagnostics but didn't get any codes. They found that my truck ( w/28,000 miles) has dark trans fluid. We called our home Jeep dealership (Walnut Creek Jeep) who had us make our way into Fernley. Our Walnut Creek guy called ahead letting them know that we were coming and explained our problem. When we got to Fernley the service advisor (a large gentleman) acted like he had no idea why we were there. We presented him with the paperwork from the BM mechanic and his response was literally "Well, there wasn't anything recorded so what do you want us to do?". When we told him that the BM mechanic had noted dark transmission fluid, we got an education about how our truck has a closed system and the previous guy "didn't know what he was talking about". Thankfully another advisor came over and he and my husband started talking about something MY HUSBAND read about on the web about updating a module. We paid to have the module updated and moved on. We won't be back to Fernley Jeep!
