My family are fans of the country white, French, and cinnamon breads, but I also highly recommend the rye and whole grains. I had a matcha cookie and a lemon muffin at the last minute (about 220 PM Sat) but everyone kind of wants the day to end sooner in the market at that point. I looked on Yelp and quickly pivoted here and I'm glad I did! The woman behind the counter was very kind and personable to everyone who walked in, there were free cookies that they were testing out that customers could take, and the seating was limited but clean. The big windows give nice views out to the parking lot and the rolling hills beyond. I ordered a "Rancher" which was one of the hot sandwiches. A bit like a cheesesteak but with ranch dressing and bacon. The sandwich was ready in no time at all and tasted great! Could definitely see myself coming back next time I'm in the area.

Definitely a top choice if you come here. The sandwich tasted great. The main problem I have is that I am not a fan of their rolls. The rolls are very doughy and seemed like there was too much roll for the sandwich. The service was quick and fast, the lady at the front register was very kind. Great service is always a plus in my mind for a restaurant. The location was clean, easy parking, and setup nice on the inside with plenty of seating. The price per sandwich is a little bit expensive.

Most of the folks are regulars and she knows all by name and typically the persons 'usual.' I can never pass up the rice crispies. So soft and buttery, melt in your mouth! Lancaster's Restaurant Week has again helped us to find another great place to eat…read more We had lunch at the East King Culinary today and were pleasantly surprised with what we found. I had the prosciutto & portobello panini with arugula salad and biscotti, and my wife had the homemade tomato bisque soup, market salad and biscotti. The food was perfect, as were the portions and we have definitely been won over, not only by the food, but also by the owner Antonia, who is both friendly and charming. This is a small shop that offers homemade soups, salads, paninis and sweets for takeout. The menu is small and varies from day to day, but you won't be disappointed. Antonia uses locally sourced goods, artisanal breads, greens and vegetables, even the portobellos are grown locally. This is a plus not only because everything is so fresh, but it also helps the local economy.

That's where my rating comes in. It was NOT brie cheese, I couldn't taste ANY brie. When I called the waitress over, she said 'there it is' & pointed to a 'spread' that resembled mayo. After her saying that, it still didn't taste like brie cheese. The sandwich also had a slim amount of fig jam on it, not enough to bring in the sweet flavor to the sandwich. (disappointed)
