I would come back for the everything bagel doughnut with chive cream cheese and vanilla bean filled doughnut. Doughnuts are small and under-filled and sold at a premium for about $4/donut. I enjoyed it. They are in their soft opening phase and only open on certain days, like Thursday/ Friday-Sunday. I went about a week ago and they were only open Saturday-Sunday from 8AM -1PM. Check their website before going! Prior to going, I tried to place an online order, but it wasn't accepting for that week. Heads up: preorders have a $21 minimum. I emailed the contact listed on the website. Management replied in a few hours and let me know that even though they closed preorders for that specific weekend, they are usually fully stocked if I come early enough. If you're unfamiliar with the strip mall, the strip is an open loop and DoughLab is in the center (like an island). I arrived around 8:30 AM with my friend. She picked up a dozen and I a half dozen. They are priced individually; her dozen doughnuts came out to about $53. Steeeeep but pretty standard for speciality doughnuts. Let's get into the doughnuts. Everything bagel doughnut with chive cream cheese- I love the idea of a savory doughnut (especially because I'm obsessed with GAR Ozzie rolls). These aren't as light or buttery as their rolls, but they're still good. I would love for this doughnut to be bigger and have more filling. The cream cheese is more like a topping and filled a shallow amount. This is true for all the filled doughnuts I tried. Vanilla bean filled doughnut- I loved the vanilla-y ness of the cream. It wasn't too sweet. Again I wish it was filled more. Chocolate crème filled doughnut- also good. The creme could be more chocolate-y. I could see my chocolate loving friends be disappointed by this. Cinnamon sugar wasn't worth trying. It's exactly what you'd expect. Matcha latte creme filled doughnut- weird. It didn't taste like matcha. It tasted kinda floral?

FINALLY got to try these famous doughnuts and it did not disappoint! Came here after my daughter's soccer game so I was expecting a long line. They're usually busy but luckily for us, there was only one person ahead of us. We got lucky for sure. Here's what's we got: - Everything bagel with chives - Vanilla bean - Ube - Easter egg nest - Berry Jam Every single doughnut was delicious. Full of flavor and not an overwhelming taste of processed sugar. They're light and fluffy. I can't wait to come back and try more of their tasty doughnuts!

Came here to try a new doughnut place I saw on an instagram reel haha. Service is very nice, answered any questions that customers had which is always a plus. I think there is some room for improvement to be made in regards to the doughnuts. I paid over $16 for 4 doughnuts, and the filled ones left a lot to be desired. If the ratio of filling to bread is improved, I think the quality would be increased by a lot. Otherwise, I do like the fact that there were unique flavors that also get switched out depending on the week!

Big fluffy doughnuts filled with all sorts of goodness??! A pleasant doughnut spot brought back for us malasada lovers! They were formerly known as B Doughnuts in Leesburg. One bite is just heavenly...so one doughnut isn't enough. I bought 2 chocolate filled, 1 vanilla bean filled and a red velvet. I was hoping they would have ube, but maybe later once they've been around longer. The doughnut itself is kind of heavy only because It is fried dough... but texture-wise it's very light and airy.. slightly dry. Some doughnuts have a little more filling than the others. The filling is mildly sweet, not too overpowering. The price range is $3.95-4.75. I would definitely suggest getting there in the morning before they open (8-8:15) or just wait in line. This way you're guaranteed to get one of their signature / popular flavors. This is the dougnut shop stays open until 1pm or sold out. That kind of goes to say a lot about it... They're really good! The shop location is not very big and can get crowded... Like it did for the soft opening. It is surrounded by other restaurants but there is timed parallel parking as well as regular parking nearby. Would I return? Umm yea! Esp when Jessa L. is in town!

I stopped by DoughLab for a sweet treat and the donuts were delicious. Loved the flavors and freshness. Friendly staff and quick service made it an easy visit.

Came here couple times. I love their donuts but hard to keep up with their hours sometimes. I'll try again next time.

I stopped by doughlab recently to try their doughnuts. I must admit the dough was fantastic but I expected there to be more cream in my doughnut. The cream was also a lighter consistency than whipped cream. I thought it would be denser and creamier.

We drove out first thing on a Sunday morning in early June so we had our pick of doughnuts. The storefront is really cute. I ordered and got the doughnuts quickly as I was the only customer in the store. My husband and I were excited to try them because we love filled doughnuts. Here's where I think they can improve: 1. The glaze on the doughnuts was too wet and got all over the other doughnuts, the box, our fingers, you get the point. This wasn't a hot day mind you, there was not reason for the glaze to run like so. 2. The cinnamon doughnut had barely any cinnamon and sugar on it. I had high hopes but it was just bland. 3. And this was my biggest disappointment-I absolutely love everything bagels that are well executed. This one had promise BUT it was the saltiest doughnut I've ever eaten in my entire life. My first bite was fine though every bite that followed with like a mouthful of ocean water. If you zoom in on my picture below you'll see what I'm taking about. Huge salt flakes. If not for that, this would have been a 4 star review.

This shop is dangerously close to my home, and I can't say enough good things! The Everything Bagel donuts are OUTRAGEOUSLY delicious! They sell out much quicker than the other flavors, so get there early if that's what you're wanting! The cream filled ones are the best fresh. The donuts are still warm and the cream is cold. UH! Literally the best donut eating experience. It's a very "treat yo'self" experience, and who doesn't love supporting a local business!? Doughlab, you're phenomenal, worth the wait, and I can't wait for many more donuts!

Really friendly small shop in a larger sterling strip mall with ample parking out front. Greeted warmly when we walked in close to closing time on Sunday. Even though they were sold out on everything else, they still had a few of the everything but the bagel donut which was a mix of savory and sweet. Thankfully they had baked a few extra this morning so we could try it. Verdict... delicious!!! It's a mix of cream cheese and scallions and all the spices which work so well together in donut form. We can't wait to go back to try some of the other flavors.

Exterior of shop

The donuts are tasty but pretty small for nearly $4 each. I went during the soft opening so maybe this was a fluke. I'm willing to try it again but I'm not sure it's worth it. Employees were kind!

Overpriced. Mid quality, workers condescending. Odd selection of so called donuts. Failed experiment.

It's even smaller, and in a tiny random, not where you would expect to find bakery! It has a tiny display of fresh pastries, shelf full of fresh baked breads and freezer full of more breads! Service is great, always with a smile. We tried a little bit of everything and ended up going back a couple of days later for some fresh bread. Finding good, like good gf bread is really hard. Most times literally hard. Got the brioche buns and was impressed for gf buns! Yes they still fell apart. Yes they weren't as soft as traditional brioche, but they were good for gf buns. I love their ham and cheese croissant. It's greasy, I prefer it cold, my kid only likes it warmed up. Donut is by far the best gf cake style donut we've ever had. It's light, flavor is incredible, moist. I typically skip gf cake donuts, but this one was calling to me, so happy we got it. Cinnamon roll was not good. Frosting had zero sugar. It was hard as a rock, so no one wanted to eat it. But as most gf cinnamon rolls, you have to eat them within a few hours, so this one could have just been too old. There's a decent amount of gluten free bakeries scattered across the DMV area, but this is by far the best for bread! The best variety, fresh and frozen. If they sell out of something you can count on they'll have a back up of something similar. Also. surprised to see complaining about prices..... I actually think they aee cheap for gluten free items!

The menus were old and sticky. The tables not quite clean. The saving grace was the electronic self-service menu, which we opted for just because the employee didn't seem helpful. The menu was very clear and it was a pretty easy order process. Ok so why 2 stars? The pictured donuts look nothing like what we ordered. It's such a drastic difference from the size and shape of the donut to the decoration. And do you see how messy the custom donuts look? These unenthusiastic employees just showered these donuts with powdered sugar and way more than a "drizzle" of sauce. By the time we got home, our donuts were soggy from all the sauce. They were so very sweet from all the sugar. The vanilla base tasted ok? Soggy but fine. I had the coffee flavored one and did it taste like coffee? Not at all. Would not return. Better doughnuts exist.
