7/25 As far as I know, they started off as a food stand/truck; I first encountered them at the Lathrop Food Plaza. I don't think that I had ever actually ordered anything from them there. Their brick and mortar location recently opened in an area that I frequent so I eventually decided to give them a shot. They are basically a restaurant specializing in sweet treats like funnel cakes, waffles and crepes. I decided to order a cookies and cream crêpe and had added the marshmallow spread that they use on their s'mores crêpe. While I am a sucker for marshmallow spread, adding it to this crêpe, put it a little over the top and sweetness. That being said, they were also fairly generous with all of their other toppings and ingredients. Had I known that going in I probably would not have added the marshmallow. The creep itself was a tad dense for my liking so it just felt a bit heavy. As for my drink, I really would have liked water but they only served bottled water, and they were out. That was a huge disappointment because I didn't want something sweet to wash down a dessert that I already knew would be sweet. On a related note, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, I thought that restaurants had to provide water in California, and not have bottled water as the ONLY water source. That combined with the dense crepe made me lean towards giving them a 3/5. The inside was very clean, which you'd expect from a relatively new place. As for the general look it was kind of standard. I appreciated that they had a decent number of tables so I appreciated being able to snag a table immediately. So glad they have a location to go to... I first tried them at the Lathrop food truck location but they are located near the end there. Here I was able to park right up front and the lot has more parking along with other stores and places to eat. Kind of confused at first when ordering because I was looking at the menu but when I asked they made it sound so simple. Pretty much any way you like, it just pick if you want it on a crepe, beignets or funnel cake. We tried all with strawberry banana Nutella and powdered sugar but the beignets we got with just the powdered sugar. A few tables in a colorful room to relax, enjoy in a cool spot and take selfies. Their selfie wall is towards the back near the bathroom tucked away to the side FYI Everything was delicious and barely brought anything for to go which ended up as treats to our family to try out. Service was great and wait wasn't long. They brought each item out one by one to us at the table. I think our first was the crepes which we picked up first then they just brought out the rest to our table. Funnel cake was last and I was already full from trying the other 2 but my cousin enjoyed the half of it when I took it to her after our visit. I was picking manteca up next door at the grocery store and realized they finally opened this place up. I ordered the beignet burger. Service was warming. This burger was excellent! Meat wasn't packed, had a good sear and it was juicy, definitely fresh, plentiful veggies but may favorite is the bun they used. Very fresh tasting bun. The gentleman that took my order even though they were about to close, was patient with me while I took some time to look at what they had to offer. First time there- cashier was patient and very nice. We ordered crepes, beignets, and funnel cake. My daughters had the beignets and said they were better than the ones at Disneyland!! Strawberry Funnel cake and the Oreo crepe were delicious! Everything was fresh and tasted so good! We will definitely be back! read more

i've honestly never been so disappointed:( for mother's day i took my mom here to enjoy some beignets we ordered and waited about 30 minutes which was quite long, there was people waiting on their food when we got in and didn't get it until around we got out food there was only 2 people working so i understand that they were simply just busy i was expecting to bite into a fluffy beignet but when i bit into the beignet it felt like an air pocket the beignet taste itself was so blah i thought the nutella and strawberries would make up for it but even the toppings couldn't mask the blandness of the beignet although the service was very slow the workers were very nice and the inside of the place is very clean and neat and plenty of places to sit down i haven't tried their food truck but this was a very disappointing experience read more

The service was welcoming and cordial, their food was good, unfortunately their service (food to table) wasn't very prompt and normally I wouldn't make a remark but we were the only ones there, but I suspect it is because they are preping real time and it takes time but I would have exected it sooner. Overall the ambiance is festive and very clean, great for parents with children or would like a carnical or festival culinary experience, yet overall the experience was positive and good. One last comment is that I would have liked to have real tableware instead it was served in disposable container with pIastive utensils but we enjlyed it. read more

Everything was fire, especially that beignet burger with a special sauce! My girl got the beignet fried chicken sandwich. That was crazy good too. The funnel cake we got was a cheesecake flavor -taste way better than the fairs. It wasn't soggy. They got these beignet covered Oreos that were melt in your mouth. We came for breakfast the other day and got the beet breakfast sandwich and a breakfast crêpe both big portions and taste way different than anything else. Really good!! New family owned dessert spot that just opened up here in Manteca! You may recognize the name from their food truck at the Lathrop food plaza. This family has put a lot of time, effort, energy, and love into making this restaurant happen and we were so happy to stop by for their opening weekend and show our support. They offer a large variety of flavors and menu items to choose from including beignets, crepes, waffles, ice cream, etc. My personal favorites so far are the lechera crepes, chicken Parmesan crepes, and fruity pebble crepes. Fruit toppings are fresh and delicious. I unfortunately did not get a picture of the menu but you can visit their website or social media pages directly to access it! The inside of the restaurant is clean and open and has lots of custom decor that fits the overall theme of the brand perfectly. Employees were very welcoming and kind throughout our entire visit. Our funnel cakes was hard as a rock. Definitely not edible. The cakes are 8-12 dollars so we expected to enjoy it. The workers need training on how to properly cook a funnel cake. read more

The chicken parmesan was delicious and salad was fresh. The blueberry ice cream was refreshingly blueberry-tasting. The beignets were perfectly sweet and the pizza crepe was yummy. I really wanted to love this place because I really do want to support small businesses. For starters our wait time was about 30 to 40 minutes which was pretty long but not the biggest issue.. we ordered two sweet crêpes and one savoury beignet. The traditional crêpe was decent, but the cheesecake crêpe honestly was not good at all. We couldn't even eat it. I ordered a burger beignet which I was really excited about, and also was recommended to me by the cashier, but it was sooooo underwhelming. The burger meat was extremely dry and not seasoned at all!!! The burger itself was flavourless and doesn't even have any mayo or sauce. The actual dough is just okay in my opinion. Went in last Sunday as my husband was craving a crepe, went in and ordered a simple banana Nutella crepe and two ice cream scoops. We waited 40MIN for a simple crepe. The crepe wasn't even warm it was cold to the touch, I'm all about supporting small businesses starting up but 40MIN was really insane for something pretty simple.
