Haven't been in here in a while and I am slapping myself for not going more often. I took my sons…read morehere for brunch and it was amazing. We had the country fried steak which was probably the best one I have ever had in my entire life! My sons had chorizo and eggs and the other one had chocolate pancakes, ham and eggs. We also got a Nutella Crepe because my youngest had never had a real crepe before. The food was all amazing. We cleaned every plate between a 47 year old, 13 & 8 year old! We couldn't stop eating!! The place was clean and for such a busy brunch we were sat very quickly! Service was amazing as well! The staff was so accommodating, friendly and professional! They were so hard working turning those tables over and checking on tables all the time. We didn't have to wait for plates to be cleared or refills of Iced Tea!! Like I said I can't believe I haven't been back to this place in such a long time but that is going to change!! I will be back as much as I can! Especially to support a local family owned restaurant!

Tasty or WasteY???? Totally tasty !!!!…read moreI love everything about this place. I always get the Chilaquiles with green sauce. My husband gets different things on the menu when we go and he enjoys all of them. The only problem I have is it is so loud in there because it is such a small and confined restaurant. And I enjoy the live music being played. It's just such a tight confined little place. And you have to yell to talk to one another therefore everybody else here's your conversation. This is not a good place to go on a date or to get to know somebody over conversation. That's why you have Galletto's or Tresetti's down the street. But if you wanna go and have a quick breakfast, then this is the place. Though wait waitresses are always very, very nice. And the prices are great.

The outdoor patio is quite large and for a warm day, it's shaded and comfortable. They have a fun drink menu, and do mimosa flights with unique flavors. I tried their red sangria and enjoyed it, it's not too sweet and more tart. My friend had the lemon drop, and at first it wasn't the proper color of one it was more orange than yellow. We had an accident with the baby and he knocked over the drink and water and they were kind enough to remake her the cocktail and the next time around it was the correct color and tasted better. The food menu also had unique items, I was intrigued to try a few things! We started with the ceviche, I really liked it! Typically I always go for chilaquiles so I was torn but I decided to be different and since it is a crepe place I went with the mushroom and bacon crepe. The sauce they use on the crepe is decently spicy, so if you're spice sensitive I recommend getting it on the side. My friend's daughter had the breakfast crepe and it also had the same sauce and she had to eat around it, but she trooped through! My girlfriend ordered the steak bowl and she enjoyed it, it came with a lot of steak!

We ordered the REX (signature savory crepe featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives) and I don't remember the gluten free crepe being sweet on the savory dishes? Maybe it was just me but that was odd. Otherwise, the crepe itself was good and the filling was yummy- just seemed weird together. We got the strawberry dessert crepe with cream cheese filling topped with chocolate and with a side of whipped crème and that was decadent! Highly recommend! I do wish they still had a liquor license because I wanted a mimosa. They used to be really good. I guess only one liquor license per building and since they share with Ibiza, it isn't possible. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Ambiance is trendy.

One and Done - Disappointing Experience at Midtown Crepes…read more We won't be going back to Midtown Crepes after a truly frustrating experience. The food was disappointing across the board, but what really sealed it was the complete lack of communication from the kitchen. They substituted two different sauces for sausage gravy without telling us -- one of them was a mushroom sauce poured all over my wife's crepe, which she specifically asked to have on the side. She hates mushrooms, and her meal was completely ruined. The "smothered beignets" came drenched in a strange white wine sauce -- again, no warning or explanation. My mother-in-law's crepe had a bunch of extra ingredients that weren't listed on the menu, and it completely threw off the dish and ruined her breakfast as well. The crepes themselves were thick and rubbery, more like tortillas than the thin, delicate crepes you'd expect. We ordered regular beignets as a starter, but they didn't arrive until after the rest of the meals, making them feel like an afterthought. To top it off, my sister-in-law's pancakes were ice cold -- so much so they wouldn't even melt the butter. Service was just as underwhelming. It took our waitress three separate visits to remember lemons for our water. No apologies, no explanations -- just slow and inattentive. There are too many great places to eat in Stockton to waste a meal here. Midtown Crepes seriously missed the mark.

You can tell when someone truly cares about what they do, and it shows in every bite. The flavors were bold, perfectly balanced, and somehow even better than I imagined. It felt like every detail was done with passion and pride. And the person behind it all? Super kind, welcoming, and clearly talented. Watching someone put that much love into their cooking is rare these days. I walked in expecting a normal meal... and left completely blown away. If you ever get the chance to try their food, do it--you'll understand why I'm still talking about it!

Order: lox croissandwich, black sesame latte…read more Selected this place because I am a sucker for anything breakfast that has some type of Asian fusion within its menu. The lox croissandwich was good, however, I asked for tomato because I needed an added flavor profile and the saltiness of the lox made me want more hydration in the bite. I usually don't like capers but today they were fine. Croissant was toasted nicely. Service: excellent. A pretty woman greeted us quickly and because it was such a beautiful day, she was coming out to bring our meals and drinks back and forth. She brought us our drinks. My drink was supposed to be with almond milk but I suspected it may have been regular milk. Although I disclose that I rarely order black sesame; it was very very sweet so I ended up not taking a chance and drinking it. My husband and daughter had vanilla lattes and lemonade with their breakfast bacon sandwich and salad. My daughter wanted to go there again today. (Posting a day later). The ambiance was very nice. I had never been to this downtown area. We were across the street from a really cute historic gas station. Great seating for people watching and enjoying the warming heat of summer on the patio. Really lovely experience at Bocado.

A Fantastic Family Brunch Spot in Downtown Pleasanton!…read more Tucked away on a charming side street just off Main Street, Le Palais Sucré is an absolute gem. We stopped by around noon on a Saturday and were thrilled to be seated immediately--which is a massive win for a weekend! Despite getting a table right away, the place had a great energy and was filled with people enjoying their brunch. They have plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. The food and drinks completely delivered: * The Chocolate Bonus: My son ordered this, and it was a showstopper. A chocolate crêpe packed with strawberries, bananas, and Nutella, then topped with chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. This was hands-down one of the best crêpes we have ever tasted--absolutely heavenly! * Chorizo Omelette: My wife and I shared this, and it was divine. It was served perfectly warm, cheesy, and loaded with spicy pork chorizo, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and pepper jack cheese. * Mushroom Galette: Our second shared item was a savory buckwheat crêpe filled with mozzarella, sautéed mushrooms, and red onions, all topped with a gorgeous sunny-side-up egg. Another really good, flavorful dish. * Ham & Eggs: Ordered by my daughter, this came with a side of home potatoes and garlic toast. It was a solid, decent option that rounded out the table well. The Drinks & Service We ordered a Vanilla Latte and a Caramel Latte. Both arrived extra hot and featured some beautiful art on the foam. The vanilla latte in particular was exceptional--honestly one of the best we've ever had. To top off a wonderful meal, our waitress, Jocelyn, was incredibly nice and attentive throughout our visit. I definitely recommend Le Palais Sucré if you're looking for a fantastic spot for a family brunch or lunch. We will absolutely be back!

This is back in 25', the golden ages, back when gas was still under $4 bucks and one could afford delicacies like this. Brought my wife and our baby here, heard it was great. Made with literal love and sprinkled with joy. Service was great too, and the space and ambiance was very family friendly. Would definitely come again.
