So I want to start off saying I love this place. Their doughnuts are very good I got a tiger tail and a small mocha cappuccino today. I had recieved any email that said any coffee or doughnut $2. They do not mean any. My doughnut and cappuccino both did not qualify even when I mentioned how the email said all. I love this place but wish people would quit saying any if that isn't what they mean. Hope's up but paid $4.71. Update: Doughboys got ahold of me and were very nice. They are fixing the email and my next donut and coffee are free. This place is great. read more

Best donuts in Reno and Sparks! I have been to this location many times and at different times throughout the day. I have walked in and made it straight to the counter and I have been the person standing just outside of the door, because the line is so long. Don't let that last line scare you, it wasn't long because of slow or poor service, it was long due to the number of people and the quantity of donuts that they ordered. I have called ahead multiple times and requested "custom" donuts and they have been able to oblige me each time without any issue. Great product, great staff, and great service! read more

This Doughboys is exactly like the other two, but in a bigger space and with a dedicated line area! My husband and I have been going to the Damonte Ranch Doughboys almost every Saturday morning for the three years we have been together. (That's 175 check ins!) We recently moved to the Sparks area, and we worried how we were going to maintain our donut tradition. Two weeks after our move, the Sparks location opened! It's a Christmas miracle! This new location is easy to access from Sparks Blvd or Los Altos Parkway. The donuts are displayed in a higher case with LED lights, so they look even better than the donuts in the display cases at the other locations. The selection is exactly the same as the other locations, and on their first Saturday morning open they had a huge stock at 8 am. We recognized a handful of employees who used to work Saturday morning at the South Reno location, and owner Jay Kenny was working the line, too! We can't wait to make this location part of our Saturday morning togetherness tradition. Couples that eat donuts together, stay together! read more

My favorite donut shop is here in Sparks! My favorites: chocolate chip bar, mini fritter, glazed twist, and crumb donut holes (which is a shrink down version of a buttermilk donut) The employees were super nice including indulging my 5 year old when he kept going up to the donuts. They weren't annoyed our bothered which makes me feel relieved and comfortable there. Inside, it's quite a bit larger than Reno and NW Reno stores. Things are still fresh and clean including the bathrooms despite the large crowds this place has seen this past week. Good location + good donuts + good service. read more

Time and time again, we fall in love with Dough Boys. The first time was maybe 15 years ago (pre kids) when the hubs and I would grab a Sunday treat at their place in south Reno: me, an old fashioned; him a crumb raised. We then moved to FL for 5 years and missed those crumb raised so much (can't duplicate those babies anywhere) that I had them shipped out for his birthday one year! You can imagine our delight that after we moved back to the Reno area, bought a house in Sparks, that Dough Boys followed us in planting a location 1 mile away. We now do donut treats with the kids - one loves them so much we turned it into a bday donut tower! Today was just another check in the column of love fest - the staff snuck in an extra donut for my kid (a treat for being good after waiting in the car while we got our vaccination). So hopefully this post relays that their donuts are simply, by far, the best tasting that we will even order them from 3,000 miles away... they are a caring company: local, and loving. Oh me oh my! I'd had these before when someone brought them into work, they were really fresh and tasty so I assumed they were pricey. They're not pricey, i just stopped by and got a treat with my partner for like $4? I'd also never heard of any fritter other than apple! I got the cherry fritter, they also had blueberry. The only thing that's driving my crazy, can I taste a tiny note of red hot candies in the cherry fritter? 10/10, they're huge doughnuts, fresh, and afford. (They were also friendly! Geez - it's National Donut day today. You would think the owners at Doughboy Donuts in Sparks would mark their calendars! We went there at 9:30 am this morning and everything was picked over. About 75% of their donut cases were empty. I did see a rack full of donuts on the side, but those evidently were not for sale. I'm sure they had a great morning, but maybe make a bunch more donuts in anticipation of a big donut rush on a big donut day??? Great donuts there - just poor planning. read more

I visited the doughboy donuts location in Sparks Nevada today at around 6pm. I was picking out the donuts and on my last one I couldn't decide so I asked the server at the counter to pick it for me. They closed the box and said I couldn't see the one they picked for me until I got home. It was a surprise. When I got home and opened the box to my surprise all right, the ugliest, what looked like half of a donut with grease holes and pink in color. I don't even know what kind of donut it is. I don't know if they thought this was funny or what but I was not amused. This donut should have never made it into the case. Pretty disappointed read more

Yum. Just killed a buttermilk bar on the way home to surprise the kids. This is our go-to whenever we are in town visiting my in-laws. They have the best donuts - super fresh, big selection of known favorites (bars galore, various croissants, apple fritters, etc.) as well as some cool local delicacies (Wolf Paw). As part of the dessert table, at our wedding, I knew I wanted to have donuts from Doughboys! I didn't want the traditional whole donuts so we opted for donut holes. The Sparks, NV location was more than accommodating. We placed our order and set a pick-up time. A few days later we needed to update the pick-up time. I called them and they had no issue with the new requested pick-up time. I highly recommend Doughboys anytime you want/need donuts. I have heard such great things about this donut shop, but had never been near one while running errands. I was at a doctor appointment weeks ago, and they offered me a donut from here- and I have been wanting to get some ever since. I was so happy to find this location close to another doctor I had an appointment with- and able to treat myself to these right after. :) We purchased a dozen donuts of all sorts- and they had so many options it was difficult to choose only 12! We especially liked the peanut butter chocolate long boy, and the apple fritters. Ofcourse, the classics were delicious as well! We will be returning again soon! read more

I love love love these donuts! They are perfect in the donut world. They aren't greasy, like some fried donuts are, and they have the perfect blend of sweetness. My favorite is the cream filled chocolate frosted doughnut. Their donuts of the days are a good variety. My son loves the orange donut they had. What they don't have is a large selection of fancy coffee drinks. Which is fine by me. You can get regular coffee, milk, juice, soda, and water. Which makes sense, as they make donuts, not coffee. Because this little shop is tucked away, they are often the only donut shop to have a good selection of donuts on a busy weekend. So give them a try. read more
