French toast

We weren't sure what we would face when entering. It was crowded but there was a table for 2. We were very happy and surprised. Owner, Dee Dee gave us a good time and great food. Breakfast of veggie omelet and French toast was very satisfying. Ingredients were fresh and meals made with care. Loved the home made hash browns. This was the perfect place for us to celebrate a breakfast over Memorial Day weekend. Patriotism abounds with red, white and blue decor. We enjoyed our conversation with Dee Dee and learned a bit about the business and the wealth of tourists who pass thru town. Last weekend she had visitors from Siberia and France. The map with pins on the wall is a testament to those who pass thru. Hard working and friendly people make this a well run business. This won't be for everyone, you can't please everyone, but keep an open mind and enjoy the experience and homey food.

Chicken fried steak

They understood the assignment! Simply put: good service , good food. All my husband I want is a simple breakfast that is well executed. The prices were decent and the cook gave us our crunchy potatoes like we like them. Love that it is homey and the locals drift in for that all American diner feel.

We had breakfast here one morning on our road trip. There was a bit of a wait for a table and they asked us to sit outside and they'd come get us. The food was pretty good but the hashbrowns were a bit mushy. Otherwise it was a good breakfast :) They gave me 4 slices of bacon so my husband helped me finish those :)

Overall great breakfast spot. Enjoyed the pancakes and chicken fried steak. Coffee was not great, but did the job. Staff was friendly, and place was kept clean.

Fun signs on walls.

Great service. Terrific food. Fun homey atmosphere ( ambiance) . We really enjoyed our meal. We sat by a map that has pins for each place people have come from and hand made drawings from customers. They have some great signs ( I've included some pictures)

Food: 3-4 (definitely above avg - served hot) Service: 4 Ambiance: 4 Value: 1 Overall 3 Split a Denver Omelette w/ spouse. Wasn't that hungry and the prices were very pricey even considering inflation so we went w/ that (and water). Just checking old menus on Yelp a Denver Omelet was $10.95 in Dec 2019 vs $16.95 in Oct 2024 (53.36% increase in 5 years).

Good food, good service. They took down all the balls hanging from the ceiling which is nice. Breakfast is served all day!

Small cafe, Food overpriced for what you got. Ask for water 3 times before I received it. I'll pass on my next visit and try else where.

The restroom IN the dining area is not pleasant. Specifically, employees wear their aprons into the restroom.

September 5, 2025 - Gold Beach, OR…read more This breakfast café is a new addition to the RV park, taking over the space of the former Mexican restaurant. It's a nice perk to have a sit-down breakfast option right at the campground. We ate there twice: the first time was a classic breakfast of eggs, hash browns, bacon, and toast ($16.00) with a couple of coffee drinks. The eggs were good, and my mocha was excellent, but the bacon and hash browns weren't as crispy as I like. And I thought $16.00 was a bit expensive. On our second visit, we grabbed a to-go breakfast burrito ($9.00). The sausage and egg burrito was good; I would order it again, for sure. Service was friendly and welcoming both times, and I especially liked the relaxed, beachy vibe of the outdoor seating area.

Turtle Rock Beachside Cafe, Gold Beach, OR - September 5, 2025…read more This is a nice little place. They serve breakfast from eight to one every day. It's a simple menu, eggs, hashbrowns, breakfast meats, breakfast burritos and sandwiches, and the like. We came in on a Friday morning at about 9 AM. We were staying at the RV park where the restaurant is located. It's very convenient for camp guests, We were greeted by our host/server Diana. She was very friendly and told us a little bit about how they had opened fairly recently. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor covered seating has some tables that are in the sand giving a place a real beach feel with the tiki matted roof overhead and nice indoor gas heaters. Both my wife and I ordered the eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns with toast. Eggs were cooked perfectly. My wife got a mocha and I got a coffee. Both coffee drinks were very good. Next time, I think I'll try a breakfast burrito.

I was relieved to find that not only are there wholesome homemade soups on offer but the sandwiches are made with homemade and unboring ingredients like house-baked bread, dilly tuna salad, chanterelles and their own cranberry sauce. I ordered the veggie sandwich, and a cup of the daily soup: veggie stew with chanterelles. Both were brimming with fresh vegetables, and they did not skimp on those freshly foraged mushrooms. Service was so friendly and welcoming. Our sandwiches took a bit longer than the time it takes to stand in line at a Subway. And that is for good reason; the owners were lovingly putting the finishing touches on our lunches as if we were visiting house guests. Definitely stop at the OAS if you're passing through or staying nearby.

Nothing interesting or groundbreaking about these boards for the prices in my opinion. Everything seemed liked basic grocery store items and I make more artisanal and elevated boards just at home. Service was subpar. Table of 2 & they asked for my ID to seat us at the bar -- we didn't plan to sit there but that's what seemed available to them. was there at a very slow point of the day. The place itself is small and not very spacious. Overall my first experience at this could have been way better and I did expect more. I also visited the store that is interconnected -- bought a few items including a coconut blondie. The blondie was delicious but service in the store was just the same as the restaurant.

I got a beer and the fish open face sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fries were nothing special. I think the sandwich would be great with the option to change the cheese type. Upon arriving the parking lot everything smelled pretty good, which was great. We checked in and waited over 30 minutes to be seated, busy night no reservation totally understandable. Once seated we sat there for almost another 40 minutes before a waitress would even look our way. I understand things get busy but walking past a table that has been waiting without even an acknowledgment, offer for a drink, or even a comment of "we'll be right with you" was definitely disappointing. Like I mentioned earlier, I usually love supporting small restaurants. And the food smelled good so we stayed waiting. We finally order our food, by then another half hour has passed before we get our food, which was overall underwhelming. I ordered a filet mignon which honestly seemed more like a sirloin. The crust and cook on it was good, although the flavor was lacking. I enjoyed their vegetables and mash potatoes far more than the steak itself. My partner ordered a prime rib whose only saving grace was the au jus it was served with. Overall, we felt very disappointed with the service. The food was okay but I personally wouldn't return considering the price point.
