The food was really good too. I had their biscuits plus more, which had biscuits and gravy, eggs, hash browns, and sausage. Best plate of food I've had in a while. When we ordered one plate for the kids to share, they read us really well and actually split the portions between the two plates. That was top level customer service. And lastly, the place actually felt like a real old school diner. The staff really seemed like something out of an old movie but in the best way. I definitely recommend this place.

Of all of them, we'd like to congratulate Barnacle Bistro on being the worst experience of the trip. We waited approximately 20-30 minutes just to be seated. After finally getting a table, we waited again for someone to take our order. Eventually, a staff member went to take the order of people who had arrived and been seated after us while we still hadn't even been acknowledged for our order. At that point, we'd had enough and left without eating. We can't review the food because nobody ever got around to serving us. Unfortunately, the service--or lack of it--was enough to make this the most disappointing restaurant stop of our entire Oregon coast trip.

I ordered everything for pick up and when I got to my moms home which.. port Orford is 2 whole miles wide, so I took me about 3 whole minutes, I realized they did not poke any holes in the box the shrimp was in and all of the battered shrimp was soggy and disgusting. The fish tacos, same, soggy mushy falling apart and disgusting. The fish itself was soggy and not crispy. The tortilla was all the way disintegrating at this point and upon picking the taco up the entirety of it fell out the hitting when the tortilla completely fell apart. $60+ of food. What the fuck. You'd think when you pride yourself as a seafood place and offer food to go, you'd understand how to properly package the food so it withholds a 3 minute drive home. It makes me realize it would've been NO different had I eaten there. Do not waste your money on this hole in the wall "seafood" place that claims shrimp cocktail is battered fried shrimp with fries. FYI; shrimp cocktail is steamed or boiled, not battered and fried, and served with cocktail sauce and a wedge of lemon. Also they claim to have salads.. but when trying to order a salad, sorry.. no salads. Lmfao. Also, anyone that claims this is the best fish and chips spot on the coast, or in California, or in Oregon. You live in the butt fuck of nowhere in port Orford with 3 restaurants, respectfully, you don't know what the best fish and chips are. E

Hey everyone has an off day just a bummer it was while we were there. The water had no ice and was warm, the beer was warm, the bread was dry, the steak skewers were overcooked, the cod was small and over cooked, very dry and there was more pesto then cod. The dessert the "mirage" was oddly texture, but this one was more a preference my wife liked it, I'm more a light, delicate mousse. This mousse was springy and the pastry didn't make sense. It wasn't even busy when we got there for our reservation at 5:30pm and it still took 45 minutes from the time we ordered to get our food. Not once did our waiter ask if we needed more drinks or if we needed anything else. My chicken in my pasta dish was VERY over cooked, the fettucine was over cooked badly and the flavor of my pasta dish was not good at all. I literally barely ate anything. When our waiter picked up my dish he didn't even ask if it was ok, since there was so much of it left. Hands down the WORST dinner and staff experience we have ever had at Spinners.
