I really landed on my feet when I met Imran from DotSight and purchased a used (looks new) 2012 MacBookPro as my 2011 model gave up. I do lots of video and music editing, and this sweet 15" laptop came loaded with EXACTLY the software I need that was worth more than the computer...so did I get a deal, or what? I just retired losing my company MacBook and needed a personal replacement. DotSight Solutions was a Godsend for me. They had several options at very reasonable prices. Even before mine arrived I had a question and emailed them - the response time was incredible and he was most helpful (and unlike many computer people) not condescending to my question. A month later I was having an issue and again they quickly responded offering to help me figure it out. This guy is first rate. In D.C. last year working on a consulting job and my laptop fails. In a few hours, I'm back up to speed with a replacement laptop from DotSight that I love, and the price was right. On a software problem a year later, he provides a remote repair with no charge! Of the many mobile computers (laptops and notebooks) I've had over the years, my favorite is the "used" one he sold me. Great source of information, good products,and great service. Professional and Thorough. Dropped my external hard drive while using it. (arrrgghh) Took the HD to DotSight Solutions. Imran provided me with a list of options. He offered to attempt a data recovery and stipulated that if he could not recover files there would be no charge. Unfortunately, he was unable to recover data, but he was able to recommend 2 places I could go to take the recovery effort to the next level. Honestly the best repair service. A friend of mine accidentally wasted a substance all over my macbook air keyboard. My macbook would not turn on at all. I went to other places and they were wayyyy too prices. I brought my laptop to Imran in disarray, but when I told him what happened, he was so calm about all of it and the price was reasonable and fair. Finished the repair fast, I myself was even shocked.
