I reserved Dosa Catering live dosa for a family birthday celebration. Amar sir communicated well in advance and shared Chef Raj's details. Chef Raj went above and beyond in making our dosa counter a success. I requested for gongura spread dosa and he went out of his way to source high quality gongura leaves and made a delicious gongura chutney spread for the party. He also prepared several uttapams in different styles to save for later. These were incredible for breakfast along with the leftover chutneys and sambhar. I have attended quite a few events with live dosa counters. These are usually catered by popular Bay Area restaurants. I feel Dosa Catering is a cut above all these due to their superior ingredients (such as their dreamy fresh coconut chutney), high quality prep and cooking and being able to customize based on their customers' needs. They are also great for smaller party sizes as their price plan starts for 20 persons vs restaurants catering for min 40. Raj was the primary chef for the event which comprised of about 30 adults and everyone couldn't stop raving about how delicious the dosas were!
