Chicken Tikka Masala

Upset that I waited so long to try Dosa Grill is a vast understatement. We arrived at prime dinner time and we were seated immediately. We were offered a crispy tortilla type bread that is made from pulse flour, so it was grain free for my dietary needs, and it was accompanied by two dips and a peppers. Very tasty. There is no bar service, so I ordered a Diet Pepsi. Our waiter Sandi was very knowledgeable and helpful with discussing the dish options that I could eat. I ordered the Chicken Tikki Marsala and my husband ordered the Lobster Curry, extra spicy. His came with basmati rice and I had a side salad in place of the rice. Both dishes were incredible! For dessert we shared a carrot pudding dish that was different and very tasty. Well spiced and served warm, which was perfect on a chilly fall evening. We will definitely be back soon (possibly even tomorrow night ).

New in town, very pretty and airy . Service was excellent, very professional prompt and friendly. Big menu, we started with Dry Manchurian appetizer; vegetable balls, with a tangy spicy sauce. Delicious. Waiter asked what level of spicy we would prefer; he did ask for every dish, I thought it was nice! I had the Malai Kofta, a nice big portion, I liked it, but nothing special. My hubby had the Goat Sukha, he liked it, the Basmati rice was on point, fluffy and delicious. They offer a buffet every day, I believe for $15.00, worth a try! Also a big array of Indian pastry sold by the pound are very good. All in all worth a try!

The space is tastefully decorated with nautical and ocean-inspired elements, featuring navy blue and white walls. Our waiter was immediately aware of my food allergies and my husband's celiac condition. He guided us through the menu with confidence, offering thoughtful recommendations based on our dietary restrictions and personal tastes. Many of the dishes could be customized in terms of preparation and side choices, which we appreciated. For drinks, my husband ordered his usual--a margarita--while I decided to try something new and went with the Backyard Iced Tea. His margarita was freshly made and even better served in a Yankees glass. The Backyard Iced Tea was fantastic--refreshing, not too sweet (which I loved), and it truly tasted like iced tea with a hint of lemon. Unlike a Long Island Iced Tea, it wasn't overly alcoholic or sugary, which suited my preferences perfectly. For dinner, my husband ordered one of the specials: Cajun-style red snapper with a side of sautéed spinach and a house salad (no croutons, with blue cheese dressing). I chose the broiled trio--lobster tail, shrimp, and cod--along with sautéed spinach and a house salad dressed with balsamic vinaigrette. Everything was delicious. The salads were fresh, and the balsamic dressing was excellent. My seafood was perfectly cooked and seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika, then served with lemon and clarified butter. My husband's snapper was outstanding--probably the best I've ever tasted--and the sautéed spinach complemented both of our dishes beautifully. Overall, our meals were phenomenal. When we're craving seafood, we'll definitely be coming back.

Their pollo classico is my absolute favorite--it's always cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Beyond that, the menu offers many other fine dishes to satisfy any craving. The wine list is impressive, with a great selection to pair with every meal. Consistently excellent food, warm atmosphere, and quality service make this one of my go-to places when I want something truly special.

What a Disappointment!!! The whole experience was a crying…read moreshame! Not only for us, and the other customers, but for the owners as well. Made a reservation for 7:30 PM. We received an email, that they would be doing a soft opening November 1st. We were really looking forward to a Spanish meal! When we arrived, the place was packed! Usually, a positive sign. Apparently, we weren't the only ones, that received the E-mail. We let the bartender know that we had a reservation, the answer was pretty much; see if you can find a seat. First off - they should change the name from Flores Tapas to Flores - burger and taco shack. Based on the "new" menu. It's very sad - because it's neither "fish nor fowl". Is it Mexican street food or a burger joint? It takes forever for the food to come out of a totally confused kitchen and even though there are numbers on the table, they don't know where to bring it. It's the fault of the "21st century"ordering system they are employing. IT is totally "Fakakta"!! Theoretically, the order goes from your phone to the kitchen, where they process it and prepare your food, then the runner brings it to your table. The reality is disappointingly different. You're better off, sitting at the bar; getting blitzed and watching TV. The fast food gets there sooner! You can do that at home and not have to worry about driving home drunk. Sadly, they spent a small fortune on theme glasses, seat back covers that look like Santa's hat, and specialty merchandise. See photos. I have a feeling, that a lot of the people that were there tonight. Sitting around at the tables, waiting for their food, that took over an hour to arrive won't be back! Especially a lot of the senior citizens or anyone over 30 years old that wondered what was going on? It was suggested; that as a Tapas restaurant they couldn't survive. Wappingers isn't ready for them. However, there are dozens of Mexican taco places within a few miles and burger joints to choose from. Let's hope they fair well.

We made a reservation for two but waited 10 minutes with no one greeting or seating us, so we eventually seated ourselves at the bar. It took another 20 minutes for the overburdened bartender to take our order. The food was underwhelming, and while the cocktails were tasty, they were far too small for the price. That said, the staff--though clearly short-staffed and overwhelmed--were friendly and genuinely doing their best. Unfortunately, the lack of adequate staffing and organization made the experience fall flat.

Great service and friendly staff at this Sri Lankan restaurant…read more The manager/owner used to be a chef at the UN after traveling the world for various stints after leaving Sri Lanka at age 25. He will fill you with his wealth of knowledge of Sri Lankan food as well as how his food is pure and wholesome. Food was very good. I had Sri Lankan rice entree specialty dish. Except for the the shrimp tasting like dried shrimp - which I hate with a passion the rest of the dish was pretty good. No complaints from my other guests who enjoyed their meals. The dessert was great. They have both vegetarian (including goat, beef, pork, shrimp, squid, and chicken) and non-vegetarian options. It fell short of five stars for two reasons: 1. the dried shrimp or dried fish taste in the dish (shimp, calamari, and chicken); and 2. the moderately high prices (I can only compare to prices at Indian restaurants in the city, and what people are typically paying for the same portion size at casual sit down restaurants) Since we don't frequent this location often it is a treat to stop by every once in awhile and introduce my friends to it. If you are on a budget and consume large volumes of food to be full, this is most likely a one off or a place you may want to skip. Otherwise, enjoy it. On premise parking lot and seems ADA compliant. It looks like it is in a house, but inside it is comfortable and casual. It appears there is allot more local customers than visitors from out of town. The interior plays tourist information on Sri Lanka while the interior is also decorated in culturally appropriate ascents. We were there on a Saturday for dinner and the space was fairly empty - perhaps two other tables occupied. It is in sort of a remote area outside the main drag of Beacon most are familiar with (not within reasonable walking distance). It's worth a try, especially if you are interested in healthier forms of food (ingredients).
