While on our trip to London, we visited Wimbley so many times just to eat Indian food. We tried different spots that had veg manchurian and this place had it so had to try it.
This place always used to be busy whether it was a weekday or weekend. There was always a wait. When we visited it was kind of latish(after 9pm) and luckily a spot for 2 people became available.
They served all kinds of food like different kinds of dosa, indo-chinese, chaat items, thalis, etc. We had some snacks at other place so we just ordered pani-puri and dry veg manchurian.
I must say veg manchurian in most places in and around London was very close to what you get in India. They don't sweeten it with ketchup like they do in Bay area. I really hope someone opens up a good indo-chinese place in Bay area and try to live up to the expectations. This place just did that, served us amazing veg-manchurian with right quantity of sauces, ginger, garlic, onion, and capsicum. We ordered dry manchurian and it lived to our expectations. I believe the price was below 5 pounds so it was very very reasonable.
Now pani-puri, it was delicious will be an understatement. The water was room temperature not very cold to give you a brain freeze. Had right amount of tangy and spicy flavor to it. Price was around 1-2 pounds so very reasonable once again.
If you are in the neighborhood then do try their food especially veg manchurian, other indo chinese food, and chaat items. You will leave as a happy person. read more
