This place is quite off the beaten track yet you see a stream of customers coming in for take out. It is located south of marine and tucked among the auto shops. We waited for a table while the staff cleaned the dining area. It took a while. We decided to share the Dahi vada and butter chicken dosa. The butter chicken seemed to be the bestseller as most customers were ordering that to go and for dine in. The butter chicken dosa was good. The medium spice level was just right for us. I was tempted to order the butter chicken Briyani to go as it was only available on weekends. The dosa itself was crispy and tasty with the chutney. The Dahi vada was nice though it could be an acquired taste for some. It was not what I expected though. I am used to the light airy fritter version in Singapore and Malaysia. This is more cake like. They described it donut but the texture is crumbly like cake. Still good, just not what I expected. Would I make a special trip to drive out here? No. There are other equally good dosa places in vancouver. But definitely do try it if you are in the area.

We have gone back three times to enjoy their well balanced dishes. Flavours are on point, not muddled but distinctive. I love the dosas, so crisp and delicate with amazing sauces. I can't decide which is more delicious the coconut chutney, tomato chutney or the sambal.

This is my way everytime I go for my routine car maintainance but I havent had the chance of visiting this place until one Yelper who works in where I do my Car maintaince recognized me (YELP) we had a short chat then he recommend this place so after my business with Dueck I went straight to Disa Corner. Near lunch time so the place started to get busy plus many pick up orders lining up one table. Indian cuisine is one of my favorite dish in the world: So I wish to try as much as many restaurants in Vancouver that serves Indian food. Medium size restaurant with free parking.Neat place but looks like not that clean.Smells of food all over the place but was good and very appetizing. I tried the fish pakora well it was generous service, batter fried fish mixed with special spices and deep fried into perfection,it was reddish in color seems it was marinated with chilli powder. It comes with sliced tomatoes, onions and cucumber,it was very good the blending of spices plus the taste of veggies accompanying the fried fish were so powerful, you taste flavors after flavors in everybite.good one I loved this dish. i also ordered dosa. A masala dosa the dish that was recommended to me by a co-yelper,asusual it was huge although the filling is concentrated in the middle but the dosa is over a foot long... like the wings of a bird. It was a thin fermemted crepe with a filling of your choice, mine I got beef and lentils and it was a delish,i dont know how they mixed their spices very very good, the smell alone is already a winner, the presentation whem served is another winner. No complaint with the dishes I got, they were huge serving so I end up bringing home morethan half of what I ordered... Ooppssss my dessert i tried the rasmalai a homemade cottage cheese serve chilled. Noise level is average Acceot credit, cash, debit Good for froup, family, and kids I cant comment on decors looks like theres none, they have TV monitored mouthed on the ceiling corner. This place is one of the best interms of dishes. I recommend this to all Vancouverites specially to those tastebuds thats craves for spicy foods.

Its clean and food is delicious but their service took forever. Also did not bring silverware until asked to.

The dosas and other South Indian food here are legit! I have some Indian friends who come here quite often, so I've always been curious and was excited to finally try it out. My party of 3 came for dinner around 6 pm on a Thursday in July. While they were super busy with takeout orders, not too many parties dined in. We were all pretty hungry, so we may have ordered too much food...whoops! We shared the following: Medhu vada ($7.25) - the vada (or as I like to think of it, fried dough) were crispy on the outside and soft to bite. The sambar and chutney it came with were delicious as well! Sambar vada ($7.25) - I didn't like this as much as the medhu vada but it's completely personal preference. The vada is soaked in the sambar, so it's more soft / soggy instead of crispy, which is what I like. Chicken 65 ($12.99) - the chicken was fried perfectly and had the right amount of flavor Paneer masala dosa ($12.99) - I didn't eat too much of this because I was already pretty stuffed by the time the dosa came out last, but the couple bites I had were good. Plus this place is known for their dosas, so you really can't go wrong with dosas here!

One of the best dosas I've ever had! The dosa came out perfectly crispy along the edges with just the right amount of chicken curry in the center. These things are also MASSIVE, I had to take the rest home with me. We also tried the lentil flour donuts (yum) and veggie pakoras. Both very delicious as well. "Hole in the wall" place serving up authentic flavours. I'll definitely be back.

Chicken masara dosa: chicken was so tender and juicy. Dosa tasted like a little cheesy and I could eat only with that. So flavorful

The last time when I came here: 4 stars. It look long time to be served but very tasty hot meal. Today: 2.5 stars. I had Shrimp Masala dosa today. I cut in the middle and had one bite of shrimp and posted the picture on Yelp. Then touched dosa. Shockingly cold. Same as water glass. Inside mushed potato and shrimp part was warm enough though. I called the server and complain the cold food. What he replied was "it's because of lentil". What is that seriously. I said to him to touch it and check by yourself. Then he went back to kitchen to request recook. Today their debit card machine has a trouble and people seemed stressed out to handle cash. I was refused to use $50 bill too. But it's not our business. I really liked their food. So It was disappointing those customer service was good enough.

I've been searching for the bet dosa joint and so far, this one is top of my list in DOSA joint. I ordered meat masala dosa ( lamb). My hubby ordered butter chicken dosa and my daughter ordered palak paneer dosa. They were superb! highly recommended for dosa joint. The meat is tender and big chunk and they were delicious!!! Cons: it's a small place . No reservations. You have to line up( especially, we are in pandemic protocols). Worth checking out

Seriously my favourite Dosa place now to go to. Ordered 3 different dishes: - Roti Chennai - Chicken Masala Dosa - Lamb Masala Dosa The masala was sooo delicious, potatoes perfectly spiced and season mixed into a spiced lamb. Love love love the lamb dish. Only complaint that I have about this restaurant is lack of Air con. My husband was sweating buckets and we kept asking for more water only because of how hot the restaurant but regardless the food was sooo delicious. Definitely planning to come back!

    - Share a huge dosa at Dosa Corner - The same day 3 years ago, I met a cute guy in Hong Kong. Today, this guy (a.k.a. my husband) shared a huge delicious dosa with me in Vancouver. Time flies... We are not very into anniversary celebration thing, but we are always up to good food. So our intuition led us to Dosa Corner today. Spinach masala dosa: it was HUGE and crispy. I could taste the spinach. I like the good balance between the potato masala and dosa. The 2 cold sauces brought freshness to the dosa too. There was a small bowl of spicy and flavorful bean soup by the side. Butter chicken: unexpectedly they provided a big bowl of rice, 2 pieces of naan and a piece of papadam with the butter chicken that made the portion quite big for one person. Sauce was creamy and chicken was soft. I love to have it with naan. Chicken samosa: crispy outside with full of mince chicken inside. Its good with the sweet and sour sauce or curry by the side. Mango lassi: its quite a standard drink. Nice. Fun fact: the fennel with candies they provided at the cashier helps your digestion. Tip: the floor was a bit slippery. Anyway, they played Indian music videos in the restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed the food plus the videos a lot. Watching it made me swing and maybe... maybe it could also help my digestion too. Lol

Lamb, potato dosa and an okra curry
    Clara B.

The little dining room was busy, we were seated promptly by a cheerful enough server. Menus and cups of water came quickly after, and our order taken a reasonable time after. My dining companion and I ordered a masala dosa each and an okra curry to share. The meal was quite delicious and well-spiced. The meat in the dosa was cooked well - tender and not so over-cooked that it was mushy; okra curry was in my opinion balanced and ono. I'd be back the next I want dosa, and maybe try another curry too. Service 3.5/5 Food 4.5/5 Space 4/5 Value 4.5/5

The food here is consistently delicious! I love the coconut chutney that comes with the Dosas. I'm never disappointed with the wonderful flavors that all the dishes have. Ambiance is lacking; you come for the food.

The location is central and it was easy to find street parking on Main Street. Even though it was a Saturday, we were the only table for most of the evening. We were a bit anxious because of the lack of customers; however, there were delivery drivers picking up orders regularly, so it looks like most people did not dine in. The place is clean and seating was comfortable. There is a bell on the table for us to call the server when we were ready to order. We ordered the Lamb Shan-e-Babur that serves 2, the Prawn Coconut, and the Chicken Karahi. The dishes do not come with any rice or naan, so we had 2 orders of rice and 2 orders of naan. Even though the rice portion was generous, we still found it quite pricy. Each of us was given a bottle of water (Pure Life), unnecessary use of plastic is not something that I like to see. And even worse was the surprise when we got the bill that there was a charge for it! The food was delivered by a robot. The portion was reasonable and the taste was good. The lamb was well cooked and tender, the prawns tasted very fresh, and the chicken had the perfect taste, the spice level was just right for all of us. The only thing that was a problem was there were some small sharp broken pieces of bone in the Chicken Karahi, my friend had a painful bite when she thought she was only having the sauce on rice. I would come back for the taste of the food, but I will definitely turn down the bottled water.
