Been here a time or two. This night was just for some Tequila and chips with a friend. We ended up walking in n and sitting right down. While we were acknowledged right away by Luis, and our place to sit was cleaned up. It did take a few minutes to get menus and place our order. Our order was simple; shots of Casamigo for both, a pomegranate frozen margarita and Doe Equis beer. The chips and salsa were mild but good tasting and fresh. Plenty of smiling faces from all the help. We will come back. read more

Dos Coronas in Sagamore Hills is one of my favorite traditional Mexican restaurants. The food and service never disappoints! Plus, they are always playing the Cavs, Browns and Guardians! read more

I ordered take out - Fajitas- steak and chicken- and I can honestly say this is my LAST order from Dos Coronos! The meat - both the chicken and the steak was scraps...not a whole piece of meat in the container. The onions and peppers were burnt and cold. The side "salad" - lettuce, guacamole, Pico- had a large piece of plastic (bag?) In the lettuce...not just on top but well IN the lettuce.. NASTY! read more

Excellent food and service! The best salsa in town!! We order here on the regular and are never disappointed.

Decent food and service, but a good Mexican joint overall! Really cute on the inside decor wise and also clean. The bar is really nice. read more

The food is always excellent! Great and friendly service even on super busy night! Every time I've gone in there the place is super clean and inviting! I continue to go here once or twice a week! read more

I came here expecting a casual dinner, but I left spiritually changed -- mostly because I ate enough guacamole to reach enlightenment. The chips came out faster than my self-control could disappear, and the salsa had that perfect level of heat where you question your life choices but keep eating anyway. read more

Visited yesterday, first time since they left Northfield Road. Time lag due to health, Covid and wife dying. Food was exactly as remembered, both my friend and myself found it to be very good and plentiful. I /We will be back. I'm actually from Twinsburg, not what the website thinks! read more

Left 4 stars last time and really need to upgrade to 5. This place is immaculate. Even at its busiest, the staff manages to keep tables bussed and cleaned well. And speaking of staff...this is the nicest group around. Everyone is clean and neat, kind and willing to help. You sure don't get this kind of service elsewhere. Always smiling and making sure you are cared for. The food is delicious. Served hot and quick. Never had a bad or mediocre meal here. Drinks are delicious as well. read more

Friendly service, good margaritas and sangria. We had a larger party and the reserved area was nice. Servers kept up with chip and salsa and drink refills. Chips and salsa came out right away. The chicken and steak fajitas had more veggies than meat but the fajita burrito came with lots of extras. Tacos salads and chimichangas were good as well. read more

Very decent Americanized Mexican food...exactly what you'd expect from this style of restaurant. Place is located within a Sagamore Hills strip mall and has separate bar and restaurant seating areas, including a "party room" for larger groups...which is where we sat. Servers were friendly and efficient. Chips and salsa flowed freely, drinks were reasonably priced. I had a sampler platter consisting of a taco, burrito and enchilada along with refried beans, all were good. If this is your thing, then Dos Coronas will certainly fit the bill. read more

Recently visited Dos Coronas on a Sat. afternoon. Best lunch menu in town. Ordered Pollo Chipotle w/rice, beans and guac. salad. The chipotle sauce is award winning. The jumbo strawberry/mango marg. was a work of art. Great place for Mexican food. read more

don't judge the place from the outside. Its has great service, great food, and yes...they have cold drinks. Also have a nice patio if your lucky enough to get good weather read more

My family and I had a taste for some Mexican this evening and with all the reviews on Dos Coronas we decided to give it a go. It was our first time there. I had a strawberry margarita and it was delicious!!! The tortilla chips were warm and fresh not stale like some places. The lettuce, guacamole, tomato salad with sour cream side salad was really good! The produce was fresh. You can taste it in the tomatoes and lettuce. I had the spinach (which was really fresh btw) cheese and cheese quesadilla and it was really good. My husband enjoyed his steak and veggies. I can't remember what my son had I was too busy enjoying my own meal and I was on my second margarita! Bon appetite friends! read more

We've been to this place many times over the last 5 years since we've lived nearby. In the past I have considered them average for Mexican food in the area, but the last few times we've been there, we have been impressed with the quality of the food and also very happy with the service. This last time, we had the Burrito Dos Coronos and the Seafood Burrito. Both were excellent. I was amazed at the quality of the seafood in my burrito. They've really stepped up their game, and we'll be back for sure. read more

Food was very good. Had fajita bowl with grilled chicken. Salsa was on point. Highly recommended.

We finally got to the new location. It took them over two years to get situated!! They had a busy crowd which is a good sign. The new venue had pleasing decor. I had the shrimp in a cream chipotle sauce with a side of beans and rice. I did like the Spanish rice as it was moist but not sticky. Just the right amount of chill powder. I do like when they add guacamole to Mexican dishes so you don't have to order a side of it. So many choices in Mexican restaurants and I'd come back here for sure and get another Sangria. read more

Arguably humanity's masterpiece, Dos Coronas in the Nordonia Hills area is nothing short of culinary mastery. When you walk in the door, you instantly feel welcomed by the friendly staff. Not to mention the great drink spetchals! They have won the turf wars with Tacos Mexicanos, in my book. Those burrito specials at Tacos Mexicanos had my tummy feeling NO BUENO! In all serious ness you guys should check out dos coronas from this spunky and impressed critic! read more

Not a great experience this time We waited for over 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Then we waited another 15 minutes for our drinks. And we didn't get chips and salsa until we got our drinks... The most horrifying thing was when our server came to take our order, she put a tray full of dirty dishes from another table onto our table. On top of my mom's flatware. And one of the dishes fell onto my mom's lap. That is the most disgusting and unsanitary thing that I have ever experienced at a restaurant... GROSS We ended up leaving cause there was a medical issue. But this was the worst experience we've had at this restaurant. read more

It is what it is. Local Mexican food place, food just good enough. Nothing much homemade, most things look like they are out of a jar or straight off the food truck. Margarita's meh, surprisingly expensive for being made from a premix. Looks like they have a nice event room. Scored low because if there was an effort to have authentic quality food and drinks this place would be great. read more

Cinco de Mayo, taco Tuesday, and COVID 19 do not mix at this establishment ! Management has known for over a month they would be closed to dine in. They should have known there would be a high volume of orders. Order placed at5:00pm online and told "lost" in system. They are recommending taking a refund. This is so frustrating as we have gone to this establishment when they were located on Highland Rd. If they had been open today I would have gone to San Diego Taco Factory. read more

I have been coming here every week since I moved here four months ago, and every experience has been amazing. I have brought multiple friends here because I was so impressed... However, tonight I sat at the bar and waited at the bar for an hour until someone asked me if I wanted to make an order. Multiple people came and went and got their food... I waited for someone to take my order and they did not... I even after I ordered multiple margaritas. No one asked me what I wanted to eat , maybe it's my fault maybe I should say "hey can you take my order?" but in my opinion I feel like that's their job, not mine. In addition, over the past 4 months I also met the owner Andres, who is really awesome in previous trips and so Andres, if you're reading this, I came here on Thursday, September 7, and was extremely disappointed with the fact that I didn't get asked if I wanted food... on the bright side, chips are good!! Because I had my whole basket!! Needless to say, I left and ate somewhere else... read more

Sangria Margarita was delicious! I ordered chimichanga and a beefsteak plate (something starts with the letter c...). The portion of every meal is less than other restaurants but it's a good amount for my tummy cuz it's always too much when I eat in another Mexican restaurant. When I ordered Flan for the first time I remembered it was good but at the second time it was more crumble and not smooth like pudding. Since we got a coupon and it's close to where I currently live I definitely go back there. Waiters attitude are very friendly but I don't like they start cleaning the floor and tables loudly while we are still eating. read more

Our go-to Mexican joint. The food is delicious, friendly and efficient wait staff and they just re-did the place! I tend to judge these American-ized Mexican places by their retried beans. Fair or not, this policy has never failed me. If you can't make good beans, then chances are you'll fail at the rest is my thinking. Dos Coronas has the best beans. read more

This is probably one of the best Mexican Restaurants around. Nice atmosphere and great service. But the real deal....the food is just AMAZING! Super fresh and flavorful and generous portions. Our daughter loves this place, so my wife and I have made 3 visits. My opinion is that it is good but not excellent. We will continue to patronize this restaurant/bar and I am hoping I have more excellent experiences. read more

The decor was the best thing. The food was decent. The customer service is severely lacking. Also, my friend has tried for weeks now to get some understanding as to why the dish she got gave her an allergic reaction because she never has had it happen & is a common dish she's ordered other places and been fine with. They have refused to help. They clearly do not care if we return or about their customers well being. She is scared to return from not knowing what caused it and I think their behavior is suspicious myself. For their lack of sensitivity, we will never be returning. Our friends & family will not be going and I will never recommend anyone to go there. read more

The food itself was on par with many Mexican restaurants in the area. Our service this night has atrocious. A male server in his mid 20s was more interested in flirting with his female coworker than tending to our table. The margaritas here are not good. Tastes more like pre made mix with ice than an actual marg. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Food was good, but nothing separates it from other similar, cheaper options. What sort of hurt the experience was the poor service, the lady messed up or order, and never checked on us. If you have good luck, and don't get her you'll have a fine time. read more
