I might be weird but I like to eat the Guacamole by itself and I have to say, Chipotle is the only restaurant that does Guacamole right! I crave it all the time. My burrito bowl was exceptional. These 5 stars are lying or being paid. This location is by far the worse location in all of Ohio. Let's start off with how DIRTY it is. My God it looks like no one ever gets off their lazy behinds to clean?? Second, the customer service is beyond rude. Mind you, I work customer service, I GET IT and I fully believe in giving someone the same energy they give you HOWEVER... when someone is being nice to you and you sit there and roll your eyes at customers... it's a problem. 3rd let's talk about how some days they only do online orders, they hire people so incapable and have a room temperature IQ it literally needs to be drawn out of them. Since my return 4 yrs ago I can ssy that the food quality has improved. Mostly. Still a bad food qualith meal once in a while: old chicken (like I cant tell the dif between fresh n day old chicken), forgotten igredients, wrong ingrdients, out of stock ingredients ect. Today tho, I have to say something. We have recieved guacamole before slightly brown or dark green. But, this time the guacamole was straight up grey /green! What a way say to customers " we jyst dont give a fuck!" N serve this BS guacamole i am sure they would not eat. This is how theybtreat me afyer I even left a tip. A TIP for pick up service! This was by far the WORST chipotle I've EVER been to. I was driving back home and stopped here for a quick lunch and ordered bowl. Food was good. Young lady (Indian ethnicity) was taking orders and calling to the kitchen she needed white and brown rice, fajita veggies, and steak. One person in back cooking, young lady taking orders, two people standing around and another Young lady wiping counters and sweeping floors. Nobody is responding to the Young Indian lady who is actually working. So, I ask the young lady sweeping the floor who is in charge and she indicated she was the manager. Flabbergasted I told her that the line of customers are waiting because they are out of many of the main ingredients and indicated that the are working on it. Nobody was working on it, her first response should have been to apologize to all of her customers and make her way back to the kitchen to jump in and help. Nope, she asked the other gentleman in the kitchen who was working cooking meat, how long on the white rice and her started making it within 5 minutes. Meanwhile she and 2 other workers are standing around doing nothing. The Indian lady taking orders and the gentleman cooking were the only 2 people who cared about the customers. A serving size of meat is 4 ounces. This is per their own nutrition guide. Every time I come to this location I have to watch. I ordered double steak and did not even get a true single serving. Went back, picked up the extra steak. Weighed it, and if wasn't even 2 ounces. So, having paid for 8 ounces of meat, and getting less than 4 total is a bit disconcerting. I spent about $17.55 with a $2 tip. Yes, I tipped on a pick up order. The staff today was not as friendly or happy as normal. They seemed to be short staffed as everyone is these days. People picking up call in orders have to wait, as the orders are behind the counter versus on the shelf. Possible issue with people thanking the wrong orders or taking other orders. Does anyone teach the new managers of Chipotle locations how to order food so that they don't run out four hours before the restaurant closes? The place was a disgusting mess. There were two people standing at the register waiting on orders because it was taking forever for the woman that was doing add-ons to get her job done. One of those two could be wiping something down or doing anything else because it's the most disgusting place I've ever seen, except for the Chipotle in Independence, Ohio. The staff was very rude. I don't know if they have managers on site anymore, or if the managers give a crap, but Chipotle has diminished to the point that I will no longer go there. Normally I find Chipotle to be pretty consistent and appreciate knowing I'm getting yummy food. However this time that wasn't the case. The chips were unevenly cooked and salted (I literally had to spit one out it was so salty) and the guacamole was completely unflavored, needing lime and salt. My husband also felt his burrito wasn't flavorful like it usually is, I did however enjoy my burrito bowl. First and foremost, this isn't the first time something negative has happened in this location, however it's the only one nearby so I've continued to go. But this might have been the final straw. I came in to get my regular steak bowl, around 4:00pm today. There was an older gentlemen in front of me who appeared to be ordering off of a piece of paper. I assumed it was for someone else. He was struggling order as it was his first time there (his words, not mine) and he didn't know how to order. The employees were extremely rude and listened to him get frustrated with himself, they didn't offer any help. They talked over him loudly, and the one employee even slammed her hands down on the counter/line and rolled her eyes a few times. The man was super flustered and he seemed embarrassed, but the employees continued to mean to him. At the end, he simply looked at the cashier and told him he was sorry and that it was his first time. But he shouldn't have been the one apologizing. I can promise you that man will never go to a Chipotle again. He was confused, and all the employees did was get angry with him. This made me feel really disgusted, as this isn't the first time I've seen this kind of behavior from the staff. I no longer order for pickup or delivery because something is always wrong. I now go into the restaurant as I did last night. Everything was okay until I got down to the lettuce area. He actually scraped the bits of remaining lettuce out and put it on my bowl. He then proceeded to get another container from underneath which had about an inch of lettuce in that tall silver container. I looked into it and it was brown and mushy. This chipotle is always dirty as all hell. The amount of food spilled on the counter is disgusting. Wouldn't be surprised if they had frequent allergic issues because corn is spilled into every container around it, as well as sour cream smeared across the counter from dragging various bowls through it. How has this Chipotle not been previously reviewed? It has been in existence since at least 2002, when the early high school versions of my younger brother and me would wolf down burritos together there. Located in the Golden Link shopping plaza (the one with the Lowe's, Target, and Panera, among other retailers), it can be a pain to get in and out of, but all in all, it's a great location. Parking is ample, the lines were always speedy back in the day (as they were today when my mother and I picked up dinner there), and they always seem to have nice people working. The dining patio is also very pleasant; even though the shopping plaza is located next to Route 8, there's a lot of green space blocking the view of the road and muffling the sound of the cars. I remember once my now-deceased grandmother wanted my brother and I to bring home a burrito for her after the two of us went there together and ate in around 9 pm. When we were finished, we went through the line again to order the burrito for her, and the people working ended up giving it to us for free, you know, 'cuz it was for grandma and all, and it was 9:50 pm and they were going to be closing in 10 minutes, so why not... That has always made me feel warm and fuzzy about this Chipotle, so I give it four stars... but not five, since it is a pain to get in to that plaza, especially when coming from the east, as we usually are. That left-turn lane light on 82 into the plaza takes forever! read more
