My favorite thing about this chick fil a is its so fast. Whether or not it's busy or not you are through the drive thru in about 10 minutes, even with a big order like my family would place. The employees that take your order are always charming and full of kindness. Inside isnt laid out the best but to be fair they remodeled it during covid and people kind of forgot they needed to control crowds at that point. I was in the restaurant this morning at the counter at 8:15. After 5 minutes with no one saying anything to me, I left. I was the only customer inside. There was one female taking curbside orders, 2 other employees in the kitchen and one employee picking up trash outside. A total of 4 employees saw me and said nothing. I wanted to place a catering order but couldn't. I left and went to Dave's Cosmic Subs and placed my catering order there. I usually don't have a bad review but this is deserving of one. The Macedonia Location has always been my favorite usually the customer service is exceptional, however last Friday I ordered a catering order for 18 guests for an important work meeting through EzCater. I've never had an issue with EzCater, when the food was delivered the secretary at the office called me to tell me there was boxes delivered but no food was in the boxes. I was 30 min away from the Macedonia Chick Fil A, I drove to the restaurant even though I had paid for the delivery, and was supposed to be giving a presentation at that time to try and pick up the missing food. When I arrived asking if I could get the remaining of the order that way I could rush back. The manager was the absolute rudest person. I actually stood there in confusion that he was so annoyed and frustrated at me and the situation since usually Chick fil A goes above and beyond their customer service. He rolled his eyes and you could tell by his body language this was a MASSIVE inconvenience for him. Now it started to frustrate me since I am the one who paid for all of it and came out of my way to fix it. I mentioned there were no sandwiches or chicken nuggets in the boxes, no dressings for the salad, no condiments, no utensils. He said no I 100% know we put utensils in there. Almost arguing with me, so I mentioned if I go back to this office and they are not there I'll come back and you'll know. He got even more frustrated and gave me the items missing and handed them to me not saying a word. All I have to say is if your the manager of Chick Fil A probably should have a little better customer service since that's what usually they are known for. I'm not normally compelled to write a review of a chain, but I'm so impressed by this location. In a sea of surrounding greasy chains, I love remembering that this Chick-fil-A is nearby. I don't do drive throughs often, but when I do, if I'm even close-by in this area, I will haul over to this location. I always feel less worse about myself when I choose Chick-fil-A. The reason I'm leaving this review is because I'm impressed how they handle the crowds. The first time I was here, the line was atrocious. But they had teenagers outside with iPads shuffling people through two lines and I was shocked how quickly it went. The second time I visited, it was almost closing time and the line was again very long. But it moved swiftly and I was half-expecting old, lukewarm food...but it again moved so fast and my chicken sandwich and waffle fries tasted so fresh. Okay so full disclosure, I used to work at this Chick-fil-A location about a year ago. I can tell you first hand that every single staff member is kind and caring and really wants you to have the best experience. Even after a year of not working here, I still see some of my old co workers and they say hi to me and ask how I'm doing and they all genuinely care about me. The food is absolutely amazing and has improved so much in the last few years. Today I went through the drive thru and ended up spilling my drink all over me and the people outside were super helpful in getting me a new drink and napkins. They move pretty quick, considering they are always so busy. I really think location is one of the best in the area, there level of high quality service is unmatched. Okay so lately when I go to this location I've seen a downward spiral from the amount of food and quality of the food. Specifically with the fries, they are never cooked fully they are rubbery and limp and every time I place a mobile order my fry container is maybe half full. Chick-fil-A is so much more expensive than any other fast food place so it's really annoying that I'm getting less food for a higher price, especially when the taste of that food is really nothing special. read more

Overall: Very good food and excellent service. I've only used the drive through when it's not 15 cars long. Food: 4 stars. I was surprised how good the chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets were. The choice of sauces are excellent. The milkshake was excellent too. My only issue is they don't have many choices for cheese on the sandwich, like provolone and Swiss. Service: 5 stars. I freaking l.o.v.e Chick-fil-A. Unfortunately I haven't lived within 200 miles of a Chick-fil-A in over 10 years. So I fill up when I'm back in Ohio. It's the only time I eat fast food (well....and In'N'Out when in CA). I was so happy when this location opened up because 1. it's not a mall and 2. it's in Summit county. I've always had to go to North Olmstead or Mentor to enjoy delicious chicken nuggets. Now I can get my chix fix and then shop at Target. I don't know what kind of employee training program they have at this place....but keep it up people! Before I even walked in, the guy taking out the trash said hello to me. Then he walked over and held the door open for me! When I thanked him, he replied "It's my pleasure". I hadn't even ordered anything and I was already happy.
