The service was fast enough BUT I went inside to try to avoid the long drive up line. they do a LOTof business around 10/10:30 am. My problem is I expect a somewhat Cheerful attitude from the staff of any place I go that is selling me something. ALL the staff at this place today (and other mornings too) seems like a Court SENTENCED them to work. They are NOT happy to be a working, contributing member of society. They give the apperance that WORKing and earning their keep is the last thing they want to be doing and they make no secret of their contempt for the people who hhired them or the customers. Fire the lot! read more

It's Saturday at 1:15om. After we get 2 toddlers out of their car seats, hungry and wanting their McDonald treat, only to be met by shitty employees that locked the doors cause they randomly don't want to work anymore today!! No one was waiting in drive thru, but then in 5 minutes both lines were way backed up. No one knows what's going on. There were 2 people inside eating. So not sure when they got in. Maybe they are privileged. Oh, then we also witnessed a McDonald's employee leaving in there car and backed up and hit another car then drove off! Ya, awesome shitty people. NEVER TRUSTING TO WAIST MY TIME HERE AGAIN! DONE! read more

This location is right at the exit of 271. I was able to stop here because I needed something quick. And as other reviews state. I enjoy the McDonald's menu. Everything is hot and ready when you need it. The staff was friendly. And the facility was clean. That's good enough for me. read more

McDonald's - Fast Food Near Me - Macedonia, Ohio

Ordered a breakfast sandwich & hashbrown, nothing on the sandwich was cooked. I mean not at ALL. Somehow, my bagel was rock hard. Charging way too much money for rude workers & disgusting dirty food. This was worth maybe .25 cents & I paid &10. No drink included. read more

McDonald's - Wait over 10 minutes to even be spoken to, then wait even longer for food, for it to be fresh out of the freezer. - Fast Food Near Me - Macedonia, Ohio

PUT THE FRIES IN THE BAG BRO. LITERALLY Pulled up opened the mobile app to get large fries and a drink. Ordered ahead and sat in the drive through right next to the speaker for 10 minutes and no one said anything. So we pulled around to go inside. We go inside and wait for 10 more minutes. Then I finally got my fries and drink. Also side note on the app I was trying to order. They are out of all medium drinks. They also don't have Sprite. They also were out of large fry boxes. So they have two mediums. Overall what the heck just put the fries in the bag bro. They were cold and unsalted fries too. read more

So went there yesterday to buy a mocha whatever for my nephew. I gave a 20.00 and they came back with 5.00 and change. Then said that the machine was broken , guess they could not tell me that when I placed the order or before they took my money? The refused to give me my money back stated they could not give me my money back. Pure trash. They stole from me. Stay away at all costs . Guess that is how Jerry A Lewis, Jessica Hall Jonathan Lewis and Scott Shaw make their money. Think with all the McDonalds they own stealing my money would be the least of their concerns. read more

Fast food not true ,in line forever, 2 quarter pounders were raw ,maybe cooked for 30 seconds ,try any other McDonald's

I ordered my food and waited five minutes at the window before they told me to park in spot number 3 to continue my wait. After 15 minutes of watching them deliver food to other cars in waiting spots and cars in the drive thru, I asked a worker walking by about my order. She seemed confused and sleepy. The next worker that came out was a male who came to my car with a happy meal. This was after wait 25 minutes and I did not order a happy meal. At this point, I was pissed. I told the worker my correct order and he said he would "just give my happy meal order to someone else" even though I didn't order it. He was a manager, I later found out and traded names with me before storming off in a thigh-rubbing huff after calling me fat. Still, no order. The sleepy, confused girl came out again to ask me about my order and tell me she gave the order out 30 minutes before to someone else. I asked for my money back. The woman who came out to give me my refund was at apologetic for the wait and about the male manager who melted down because I didn't want a happy meal. Never will I ever go back to this dump. It is sad that every McDonald's is trending towards cold, lackluster food and inept service. The Macedonia location is probably the worst in NE Ohio and I would never have gone if my passenger hadn't wanted to eat immediately. Since that didn't happen and I had the worst experience in years, I rate this place as less than zero. If the sleepy girl and surly, sweaty manager are representing the store, save your money. read more

We pulled to the 2nd window waited like 10 minutes she told us to pull forward... then back BACK UP TO THE WINDOW .. you couldn't walk out the food properly ? 3/5 Burgers were cold.. There is no reason for this at all... This is awful. Going back tomorrow. *Edit* Went back the next day almost got into a fight with a guy who got mouthy in the parking lot because HE HIT MY CAR with his door. tall, white, bearded manager the next day was super nice about replacing my order ! still not going back.. ever. read more

McDonald's - "Cheeseburger" - Fast Food Near Me - Macedonia, Ohio

See all

"Fast" food....23 minutes tonight before we jumped out of line. Customer service is dead.

On May 2nd at 2230 hours I drove up to the drive through where a very rude ghetto female without any manners was taking my order. As I ordered my food she sighed with annoyance and cut me off right after the first item. I then proceeded to ask for condiments when she smacked her lips and rudely sighed once again. By far the worst customer service I've experienced. read more

Horrible experience and they were not willing to make it right. So sad that managing expenses is all they care about since the sign on the building keeps the customers like Ning up. read more

I haven't been to McDonald's in a while as I'm shut in. My favorite is the fish sandwich and my friend brought me one. Cannot tell you how disappointed I was with the new bun which has a sweet flavor. Totally ruined the sandwich for me. I'm afraid I won't be ordering from McDonald's anymore. read more

I waited 30 minutes to get the wrong order. Staff was unhelpful and unwilling to correct the order.

I threw up after eating the food, service was bad, Ambiance is ok. My sons food was cold and tasted like dust.

28 minute wait in drive through for 2 Drinks. Then girl at cashier window got pissy when we stated that we almost forgot what we ordered because of the long wait. We are staying at a hotel down the street & this is the second time we've had to wait an exorbitant amount of time in the drive through. People were leaving the line because of the wait. Avoid this place!!! read more

DON'T BUY YOUR BURGERS HERE- GO ELSEWHERE. lowest rated macdonalds ever. Most expensive macdonalds ever. it's a rip off .they charged $7.99 for a cheeseburger with extra cheese. "dont go there". unless you are not worried about being scammed. Following this write up I got a call from the so called Manager who told me that his store charged me the right price? REALLY??? I told him that I found out afterwards that I could have bought two cheeseburgers in this store for $5.58 which apparently was the days special and I asked him why I wasn't offered that deal and he told me that his staff are not meant to tell customers that they could get this deal. In other words this idiot manager was saying that his store was openly scamming customers by design. I will never ever use this store again as there are better places in Macedonia Commons and yet more McDonalds close by. I will not patronize this RIP OFF place. read more

all we got was two fires and it took over 20 minutes to get delivered to us. horrible service.

The girl at the window redeemed the lousy experience and the wait time. She had a way about her that made you not get upset for waiting. She apologized and just was genuinely sorry that we had to wait so long. I don't know if that is because she is always apologizing because the wait time is always lousy but it redeemed our stop. Just grabbed a snack to eat but everything was hot and fresh. It is McDonalds. They at least have figured out the standardization thing and one McDonald's is like all other McDonald's. read more

-Lacking Quality And Service- Never go to this McDonald's. I don't know about indoor service, but drive-thru service is nearly always rude, impolite, and does not care about your order being correct. I've had very few good experiences through this McDonald's, and those times have normally been when the older staff is working (and not the 'high schoolers'). Last time I went there, I got a Quarter Pounder, McChicken, and fries. I got home, opened my Quarter Pounder box and to my surprise, it appeared to have a bite taken out of the meat. I can't be positive that it was a bite, but it looked like it (it's possible that the meat slipped from a pair of tongs and it ripped a bite-like piece out of the patty). I was not willing to take the chance on eating that and threw it out. This McDonald's has completely ruined my experience with the company. Looking for good fast food service? Skip this place and go to the Wendy's, Arby's, or Chick-Fil-A down the street (where service is always good and orders are correct often). read more

Waited in drive thru for 15 min, finally gave my order, then left (ran out of time). The order on the screen wasn't even correct. When I pointed it out, she said the order was correct and gave no explanation as to why it was wrong on the screen. Horrible. And it wasn't even peak lunch hour. read more

This was the worst McDonald's I've ever been to bar none. I waited first in the drive-through for 30 minutes and not a single car moved... Finally gave up and pulled into the parking lot and went inside. Only three parked cars and no one in line at the cash register. I placed my order which was incorrectly rung up. I waited another 30 minutes to get the food which was awful. Chicken was overcooked, fries were cold and not salted, so much mayonnaise on the chicken sandwiches it was Dripping out and sickening. The place was positively filthy... Upended cops at the beverage service, so much garbage and junk on the counter there was no place to even put down my purse at the cash register... Trash all over the floor behind the counter. read more

McDonald's - Fast Food Near Me - Macedonia, Ohio

Literally the past 3 times I've been there, no one has take my order at the window.. mind you it was 8:30/9. I drove past the window to see the workers literally just standing there. It's not our fault this is your job, do it? Don't go here, you will not be taken care of:) read more

Dear McDonald's: I want to love you like a fine sturdy pup loves his master. But you let me down. I went in which was a mistake because the parking lot is wild and you can die in it. I ordered a ghetto mac which is a double cheese burger with big mac sauce. You order the ghetto mac when you don't want to pay for the real big mac and you want one just the same. All you don't get is salad and the middle bun both which is girlie anyhow. They didn't know what a ghetto mac was and they tried to jack me for the full tilt on a big mac and I got pissy and caused a scene and the manager gave me the ghetto mac and I ate on it standing right there and ordered another with my mouth full. I did not get good customer service but I did get another ghetto mac and all y'all sons a' bitches in line waiting for me to finish my meal ought to stand down and give a gentleman his personal space. I just want my personal space. My private area. Anyway, go there and get you a ghetto mac since it tastes great. Sweet Tea is too sweet and you might pass out on Route 8 heading down into the sour Cuyahoga Heights area. Whatever. Like automobile accidents don't happen all the time. McDonald's, I wanted to have a conversational epistolary review but I forgot and now I am not cool like all the other people who start their reviews addressing the place they are reviewing. I can live with the guilt since this review is great anyway. read more

If I could give it -5 stars I would. Customer service here sucks. Ordered via the drive-thru and was handed orange colored water. Took it inside and they told me "Yeah, it needs changed". So why the hell would you serve it then? Took them 5 minutes to change it out, then I get back to my vehicle to and leave. Only to find the breakfast sandwich to be the wrong one! And these people want $15.00 per hour???? Replace these morons with robots. read more

The sign on the door said the lobby opened at nine. I was standing outside for probably three or four minutes before I was allowed in. Even though staff saw me out there. Order was wrong even though I was the only customer at the counter. Had to re-order. Took forever to get the second order. And the biscuit was as hard as a rock. A note directly to the staff - Your attitude means everything in terms of where you will end up in life. Your customers, regardless of their race, matter. Hustle! read more

There's a reason they only have 1.5 stars, I would give them a .5 if I could. Silly me, have avoided this place for years but every so often I keep trying thinking maybe things have changed, but NO, it's always the same-LOUSY. Just look at the floor through the windows. Get a meal and the fries are cold&old, burger barely warm-a qpc is supposed to be made fresh every time since they changed them, but not here ! The employees don't thank you or even look at you for that matter-they just don't seem to care about quality, service or cleanliness. And its' been that way for years. read more

Had to 'pull up' and wait to have food brought out to my car while going through the drive-through AGAIN!!!! This is not a fast food location. And you literally are waiting almost a full 10 minutes. We're not talking 2 to 3 minutes. This is for an order for one person. And again the order wasn't correct so I had to walk inside. And the egg white was not cooked through. There were at least seven or eight employees behind the counter "working"so it's not lack of staff The consistency of the bad experience at this restaurant over three years shows you that the management should just give it up. They are not cut out to be restaurant managers or franchisees. read more

Be warned. The worst McDonalds in existence. They make the food bad. Not just McDonalds' bad... worse. Every time I get into the drive through I ask, "Why do I punish myself? Easily the most annoying McDonalds in the area. Staff are quite variable in quality and do not seem to know how to turn off the very loud alarms, carbonated drinks often aren't, problems are not fixed over time (their drink machine has been dysfunctional for at least the past six months), etc. On the plus side, it is clean and conveniently located, and the food is what you expect except for the drinks. read more

Literally a 1 STAR because zero stars is not allowed. Waited ten minutes in the drive through. Finally make my order and hear, "what was that?" Had to repeat THE ENTIRE ORDER. Fair enough, they are high schools kids or what have you. I get my order that included 4 drinks and the girl was literally PUT OUT that I needed a drink carrier. Finally get home. Of course my order is wrong. My bad for not checking it. Frustrated, I decide to call. I get someone on the phone and politely ask for the manager. The girl I spoke with was pleasant enough and we had NO problem communicating. The MANAGER (named Mary) gets on the phone, I explain why I am upset. All I hear is, "Hello? Are you there?" "Are you on a cell phone?" And then she HANGS UP ON ME!!!! Seriously! It is McDonalds - it is quick, easy and will surely give my family heart conditions if we keep going. But, they are also a part of the SERVICE INDUSTRY! Aside from that, I was charged for food I did not receive and when I called about it, I wasn't just ignored, I was treated as a nuisance. NEVER AGAIN! I will sooner kick the kids a tornado from Speedway than deal with this nonsense again! read more

A huge company like this goes cheap on their WiFi, unable to stream any vids, bathrooms are usually dirty.

I would give this place ZERO stars if I could... Went to get lunch and couldn't even get in the parking lot because the drive through was so backed up... You'd think a bunch of trainees work here. Drive-Thru is suppose to be for convenience, not sitting in your car for 30+ minutes just to order; that's just unacceptable.
